Description of Work: I first hired House Doctor Painting in 201 to paint my house and again to paint the garage I was pleased with the work. Then in August 2017 I contacted them to do some touch up work due to having windows replaced and rewiring of house and need touch up around the windows and where the conduit was removed. After many text, phone and email many promises were made to come give me a quote. As of 2018 still nothing. I will not hire them again and hire someone else to take care of this as well as interior painting of 2 houses and exterior of another house in prep for selling.

Description of Work: Our house need some interior painting bad. Since House Drs. did the exterior of our house we figured why not have them do the inside. The kicked some serious painting butt. I think it takes more time to prep than actually paint. They came in and finished the inside of the house within two days. The took care of everything. They are great. I will definitely use them again when it comes time to do any more painting, inside or out. Please note: You will want to stay in Hotel for at least one night. We didn't realize it at the time but the house is in disarray while you are painting the inside. It just makes good sense.

+ -1 moreOverall experience was good. They returned calls in 24 hours. When I was undecided about which color I liked they came out and painted 3 different samples on the house. Removed front door and sprayed paint on for a smooth finish. Did a really nice job, walked the house with me after and touched up anyplace I asked. Left paint if I need to touch up at a later date. Called on reference which was positive. Only negative was a miscommunication on start date but was resolved OK.
Description of Work: Painted 1500 sq foot single story house, 2 colors plus a third on the front door. Completed the job with 6 man crew in about 6 hours.

+ -1 moreThey did a very quick job - their preparation was not as thorough as they say they do in their "21 step preparation method". The workers were sloppy and did not clean up the paint spills and left a lot of painting papers around the house. Chips of old paint from the water blasting were left all around the house. They were supposed to do a small texture job on one interior ceiling, but didn't do it. They said they would come back and do it but no-one ever called and no one ever came back. I was told the owner wanted to do a cheap redo of the ceiling and the supervisor on the job here said not to let him do it as it would not last. I'm glad I didn't allow this company into my house now. Be cautious about using this company - House Doctor Painting, Inc. in San Jose, CA.

+ -1 moreHe did an inferior job of painting our house. They bent our blinds which cost us about 1000.00 to fix. He was terrible. He had references, but he still was no good. He got paint all over everything. He messed up our blinds. The whole experience was just terrible.
