Terrible Experience -- Unreliable and Unprofessional My experience with HNES has been nothing short of terrible. I hired them to install a Tesla Wall Connector at my home, but after 40 days, the project was still incomplete. To make matters worse, they lost a crucial part, the DCC12, which brought the entire installation to a halt. Adding insult to injury, they refused to refund the $1,000 deposit I paid—$500 initially and another $500 for the DCC12 part they mishandled. Their lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for their customers’ time and money is outrageous. This has been one of the worst contracting experiences I’ve ever had. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for your EV charger installation.

From start to finish this was by far the best service I have received from any vendor in a long time. The communication was crystal clear, prompt and spot on with what Home Networks was going to provide and when they would be on site and complete. They exceeded my expectations. The system was installed ahead of schedule and operational well before I was expecting so I was able to take advantage of the cost saving with my new solar system. I went with Sun Power for my solar panels and they are incredibly efficient. The crew from Home Networks were incredibly professional and knowledgeable with the system and resolved issues by including me when needed. I would highly recommend Home Networks for any electrical and solar installation needs.

Randy was skilled, professional, prepared, easy going and an all around pleasure to do business with. It was a tricky job because of the layout of our long, skinny railroad style apartment and because, due to our schedule, he hadn't had the opportunity to scout the job before coming to do the work. But because he had asked the right questions in our phone consultation, he was fully prepared with the right equipment and strategy. He did quick work, was extremely thorough and our network has worked like a dream since his visit. We would highly recommend hiring Randy and his company to anyone looking for home networking solutions and related work.

I called Randy on New Years Day, and he answered. He was able to come out the very next day to look at the situation. I just needed a single Cat5e cable ran from my garage to my office. He recommended that instead of just running the Cat5e cable, that I have him run a "combined cable", which included two Cat5e and two coax cables in a single bundle. However, I would have had to procure the materials myself, so I opted to go with the Cat5e only, since Randy had the materials, and I wanted to get it done with as little hassle as possible. We scheduled the work for the following day (today). Randy showed up promptly at the agreed upon time with his assistant, and they installed the cable promptly, leaving no mess, and at the agreed upon price. While they were here they also alerted me to a plumbing leak under my house. I was very happy with the service.

Work was completed in one day starting with the power shutoff by the City promptly 8:00a.m. Contractor arrived on schedule at 9:00 am and commenced work immediately. Because of the age of the electrical wiring, etc. the job ended at approximately 6:00pm. During the work, the contractor arranged for power for my refrigerator because I was concerned about food spoilage. This power was maintained to the refrigerator through the entire job.. much appreciated by me. The contractor and crew were extremely pleasant, professional and courteous throughout the entire job. Randy, the contractor is very calm, patient and very professional. I am extremely happy with his work. Most importantly, the contractor stayed true to the original quote for the work. I got this quote a month ago and Randy honored his original quote.

Appointment Scheduling: Katrina was very responsive and between her and Randy, I had all of my concerns and questions answered right on the phone. Randy provided suggestions on ways I could help reduce my costs. After the call, I received an email confirmation with the date and time, and the name of the technician. Service Day: Tomas was the rep who did the actual work. He was very professional, and suggested improvements along the way. He even painted the cable, just so it would blend in better. Most importantly, he cleaned up after himself as he moved from room to room. Overall, I was very happy with the quality of the work, and would hire them again.

They are very professional and on time. They are very respectful.
