Ed is a joke. Avoid his services at all cost! He dragged me along for 3 months and never fixed my couch. Ashley furniture contracted them to repair my couch under warranty and it has been a horrible experience. My couch broke at the end of April and after it was turned over to the "local repair dealer" I waited two weeks to hear from him. After I described the problem he told me that he will order the parts. 6 weeks!! later the parts arrived at my door and it took another MONTH for Ed to get back to me to schedule an appointment even after persistent calls. And by schedule he just gave me the ONLY date and time available. Wednesday between 11-4. I cannot wait around for months for some shop to play with my time. It's been three months since we contracted him and still nothing. His response when you call was basically "oh well". I was surprised to find out that Ed was the actual owner of this company. Horrible experience. Avoid at all cost

My experience with them was good. Since my leather couch was scratched, they repaired it so that the scratches were gone. Everything was fine about them and I will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I hired Furniture Tech Services 6 months ago to fix my leather couch.

Need Fantastic Leather Furniture Repair? Call ED, and no one else! I was having so much trouble finding anyone to return my calls to have a leather LazyBoy recliner repaired. I called LazyBoy's Stainsafe 1(800) number. They gave me 2 numbers for leather repair techs. Had a cell phone number with the message. It was for Ed, the owner and principle of Furniture Tech Services. He agreed to stop by within the hour. Ed walked in, took a look at the tear, and said "I can take the plate off, take it back to the shop, recover it with leather, and have it back in 4 business days - $125." I thought "SOLD to AMERICA!" and had to keep from kissing his feet! He flipped the chair over, got out his electric drill, found that the chair had the old "star" screws, went to his truck to find a star-screwdriver, came in and took it off - all in less than 10 minutes. THAT is customer service, efficiency, can-do attitude, and honesty.
Description of Work: Repaired kickplate of leather LazyBoy recliner. Saved me from a horrid experience with another furniture repair place. Please look at that company to see what a BAD company does!
