Faith Painting

We had a good experience all the way around.

Went quite well. Because I was using a few different colors, I needed to keep close watch to ensure correct colors were used where I wanted. My only criticism was that some of my blinds were not placed on the correct window.

It went fine and I would use them again on our next painting job.

One painter, finished job in a day, very professional and courteous. Good quality work.

I was moving to a new place, and decided to have it painted while it was empty, lets just say I had a limited time frame. They where easy to get a hold of over the phone, and I was able schedule an appointment for an estimate right away. Mike was professional and cautious when he arrive at my home. Took all the appropriate measurements, made sure he understood what I wanted and even gave me a couple of great suggestions. I received a few bids for other vendors, I chose Faith painting because of their professionalism, plus I felt safe having them in my home unsupervised, as I would not be available to be home monitoring the work. Mike also promised that the work would be completed prior to my move in date. Once the molding was picked out and the deposit made the crew got right to work. I got a couple of calls to clarify things while they where working. I even "snuck" in my own home one night to check the progress, and was amazed and how much they had accomplished in just a day and a half. They did a great job prepping and protecting my home. Every faceplate, light switch, and the blinds had been taken down. The stairs, banister, cabinets and all the floors covered. I was impressed. I was even surprised upon final walk through that they painted behind the refrigerator. Faith painting was not the cheapest paint company I could have used, but I went with my gut and used the company I could trust. They did a great job in a short amount of time, and didn't cut corners to get it done. I would use them again, no question.

The workers were prompt, worked hard and were very nice. The job to paint my 2 story house took about 5 days. Unfortunately the overall quality of work was 'average' at best - there was a lot of overspray onto windows and trim that was not fixed. Some of the trim areas were not double coated, some hard to see areas were left with just primer (exposed tops of beams). The left over touch up paint that I was given was just some dried up paint in a 5 gallon bucket that had an old used roller thrown in there as well. I had to go out and purchase more paint to complete the work. So overall, decent price but average quality.

The price was very fair, but they did not allocate enough manpower to complete the job within the specified time frame. Then they fired the guy who worked the hardest to complete the job.

Supervisor Mike I think fit us into the schedule early due to our medical time constraints. The painters, Mike Sparr &Damon Scott, did an excellent job on approx. 3 lg rooms with high vaulted ceilings (16' ?), on a textured surface, & several smaller areas. There were quite a few difficulties, but they were always nice, answered every question courteously, protected areas from unwanted drips, were on time, always cleaned up, etc. There was only one small problem, where the tape pulled off small pieces of wallpaper border, but I think this was because the co. may not have given them painters tape 4 that area, & also the wallpaper was old. They did a great job & we were very happy w/the whole experience. The co. is very professional.

Chris came out anc gave us a quick and very fair estimate for the work. They started on Monday and finished on Friday. Work included covering all walls and floors with plastic tarp, removing acoustic ceiling treatment, skim coat of ceilings, patching of some cracks in the sheetrock seams, texturing and painting with 2 coats of flat latex paint. 2 very professional painters, Umberto and Ryan, arrived every day on time and cleaned up before they left each day. They were great to work with and careful with our belongings that needed moving. Area removed was about 1500 square feet. Newly finished ceilings are very nice and a joy to look at.

Very professional and wanted to please. When we needed to have the painter fcome back and finish up a few things they were happy to do that. They would not take a payment until the job was completed which was nice. It took a little longer then expected.

We were satisfied with the work that was done. We thought the price was good, they were on time, courteous and completed the job in the time allotted.

Called up to get a quote. Chris met me at the house, we walked thru what I was thinking... he went back and provided me with a quote a few days later. The start date of the project, Chris showed with his crew. We walked thru the house again, pointing out the colors and special designs. I was a bit unique in what I wanted for 3 of the rooms. I wanted my step daughters room painted with stripes around the room, my son's room painted with Chevron's on one wall, & our powder bath with vertical stripes all the way around the room. These designs weren't something that they really do... but, they agreed to it with no hesitation :) The rooms turned out great! Although, with the details, the project did go over by 3 days. I was okay with this since it was a difficult project and design. Overall, it was a great experience!

Things have gone well.

The fellow who came was on time, personable, and very clean. They were prompt in getting back to you, prompt in giving the estimate, and prompt in doing the work. I would recommend them to others.

Painting was completed on time and was done professionally. Was especially happy with how they sealed many areas I didn't think of. Will definitely use them again.

Very responsive. Gave me a quote that same day with lots of backup materials - paint choices, how they work etc. Got a crew out quickly. Owner's son was at job site most of the time and easily reachable when he was not. They had one guy doing the work and he was very good. Responsive, detail-oriented, and spoke good English - so easy to speak with. Main guy did a great job advising on paint color. When I changed my mind on color, he was very patient and fine with redoing the work. Their pricing was more than half the cost of the other 2 estimates I got. Quality of work was GREAT. I will be using them in future for some interior painting jobs.

We contacted them for quote based on the Angie's list rating. Mario should up exactly on time and went through the entire house taking notes and explaining what they would do and the approximate time frame it would require. He got back to us the next day with a quote via email. He was extremely professional. After getting a few more quotes from different companies, we choose Faith Painting. We set the start date for Oct 1, 2012 and Mario and his crew arrived exactly at 8:00am to begin work. We had 5 different crewmen over the 10 days the project took. They were all extremely hardworking and polite. They cleaned up each day before leaving. Mario stopped by daily to inspect the progress. Sometimes 2 or 3 times a day and kept in contact via phone with his crewman. It was a lot of work, but these folks know what they are doing. The difference between the interior of our home before and after is unbelieveable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Great job.

The crew did a great job. They took their time and concentrated on the details. They did not rush through it. I'm happy they spent the time to address all my needs, concerns and questions. I did a final walk-through with them when the job was finished and everything was taken care of. They cleaned up and didn't leave any paint messes. I appreciate that they left me with some leftover paint.

Showed up on time and did work as advertised for the price quoted. Professional rapport. Quality crew and work. Lesson learned: Pick your paint ahead of time so that it can be factored into the price quote.

They were surprisingly good. They have a number of reviews on Angie's List and that's how I found them. Everything about the job was an "A" and I would absolutely use them again.

Faith Painting painted our home (exterior) on July 23-27, 2012. Ramon, the painter, did a very good job. The exterior looked very good and the trim work was very professional looking. We did from time to time point out patch repairs that he seemed to have missed and we did feel that we had to monitor progress each day. I would recommend that when you get an estimate from a painting contractor you need to make a list of specific repair work so there is no misunderstanding. No one showed up during the week to talk to us about the progress and to discuss what we thought was suppose to be repaired. Faith painting had some excellent reviews on Angie's list, and they had previously painted our neighbor's house the week before and it looked great. That plus the fact that they accepted credit cards is why we chose them. Having said this, I do have an issue with this company, I can only conclude from what transpired that they were not honest with us. When Chris showed up on Monday, July 23rd and my wife handed him a credit card to pay for the paint he told her that their “credit card” machine was broken and we'd have to pay cash or check. So I concluded when he showed up last Monday, the machine was already broken, . On Friday July 27th I called Faith painting to see if their credit card machine was still broken. And yes it was. Chris told me they'd tried to do a credit transaction and it did not work. He said that they'd have to get someone out to repair it. So it seems that from the week before our job they had not called anyone to “fix” the credit card machine. None of this made any sense. We like to use a credit card for home repairs as it gives up another layer of protection which always is a good idea. So for now it appears that Faith Painting does NOT accept credit cards although their web site and Angie's listing indicate that they do. I would like to see the credit card advertisement removed in fairness to home owners.On Friday July 27th the painter knocked on the door and said he was finished. Handed me a card to fill out evaluating his performance. No one (Chris) showed up to do a final walk around. Ramon was to be paid by check and he did not have a receipt for paid in full. He called Faith and Chris sent an email receipt addressed to "Diane" at our address. and a total paid which was for $2000 and not for the $2275. We had previously written them a check for $275. The last aggravation today, July 27th: Ramon painted the front door without filling in two screw holes left from replacing the door lock. I called it to his attention and he said, "yes I will fix it". He did not. Looked at it after he departed and the two holes are still there. Be careful if you decide to use this company.

They were easy to work with. They did a nice job.

We would use this company again, they were superb. They were very professional and cleaned as they went.
