All in all, they did and excellent job - - - with a couple of exceptions. I had pointed out that there used to be a second door from the garage into the house and had even taped the outline so they would not be surprised about the amount of insulation needed for that cavity. Turns out, it was not insulated at all. I also noted at least one area on the west wall that was quite warm to the touch in late afternoon, indicating insufficient or totally lacking insulation. I notified Energy Savers via email and got a very nice response, assuring me that this should not have happened and that it would be corrected as soon as their work schedule permitted. At this point, I have waited 10 days. Will update this once the job is done. 17 July: Final update. Turns out, I was mistaken about the insulation in the garage wall. It was insulated. I had overlooked the hole they drilled. It was covered by one of my tools hanging on that wall. The came a couple of days ago and re-did the spots that were not up-to-par. All is well at this point, and I am a happy camper! Just one final thought: It would be great if I had access to an infra-red sensor to more accurately check the temperature of that walls.
Description of Work: Insulated exterior walls of the home with blown-in cellulose and added R-30 equivalent of blown fiberglass to the attic. They also used a very elegant solution to insulate a knee wall.

It could not have been easier for us. The timing worked that they could start on the installation within around two weeks, and we were planning a vacation at just about that time. So we gave them permission to be in and around the house with our next-door neighbor having our house keys, and Future Energy Savers did the whole job while we were away. They had a contractor install the new electrical panel on the side of the house and do all associated work with it, and all of the panels on the roof (in two areas facing south) was completed by Future Energy Savers, all installed and ready for inspection by the time we returned home. More details, and any discussion with the Band of Neighbors would be up to my husband since he understands the details much more than I do. Linda Spencer
Description of Work: Future Energy Savers did the complete job, a terrific job of design, all permits, parts, and labor for the 4 KW solor electric system for our 2,000 sq. ft. house. This price shown above as the "approximate cost of service" is after the utility rebate of $800. and the 30% federal tax credit of $12,990. So our total investment for the system was $43,300., and after the rebate and tax credit, it cost us $29,510.

The owner was very personable. He would work with us and give us what we want. If we wanted things to be slightly different from the norm they would do it for us. They did everything the way wanted it. They failed the first inspection for the stucco replacement. Once they found out about that they did a really good job addressing the inspectors’ concerns. The inspector gave them an excellent second try too. They weren’t necessarily the cleanest. They basically did new construction on the window replacement. They cut out the old windows and stucco and installed brand new windows and replaced the stucco around them. Our experience with them was fine.

This company was excellent because of the superior service. All my request and needs were met, they were very considerate about what I wanted and they did not make me feel like I was asking too much of them. This company is definitely customer oriented.
Description of Work: I had twelve windows installed by Energy Savers that had various sizes ranging from 3x2 and 6x8. I also had them install insulation in all the ceilings.

They did come and do a demonstration of the windows. They replaced all the windows in the house. They removed the old ones and took care of the hauling of them. I have had two daughters use this company. They have also had all their windows replaced in their home. They did a great job for us.
