Pro was on time and completed the job very quickly.

I received a call within thirty minutes and an hour later technician was at my door. He fixed the switch and was on his way. Something I had procrastinated for two weeks. The cost was a little high but it's done now.

To install multiple recessed lights in our kitchen and living room, we surfed Home Advisor for a reliable competent electric contractor. Iraj of Emelco responded quickly and quoted over the phone. I wanted no surprise so asked for an onsite estimate. It was a right thing to do since the 20 ft high rise ceiling should be practically evaluated. Among several bidders, we hired Emelco for the following reasons - 1. Skillful and an 'Out of Paradigm' thinking While others had to drill multi holes, Iraj gave us a smart suggestion on wiring - no drilling, no extensive labor, and a significant time and cost saving. 2. Straightforward estimate Iraj's simple quote did not contain multiple fancy line items and charges. The phone quote was adjusted with an increase but it was reasonable and acceptable to us. 3. Knowledge and information sharing Iraj provided information and explained patiently about the type of LED bulbs, dimmer that would meet our needs. He offered to pick up for us but we found the bulbs with information he sent. On the installation day, Iraj and Amin teamed up efficiently to complete all planned tasks (4 lights in kitchen, 8 lights in high-rise living room) in approximately 5 hours. Our wishes were skillfully carried out by bypassing an unexpected gas pipe and AC lines. All lights, dimmers, switches were professionally and beautifully installed. As time permitted, per our request, Iraj replaced the sink disposal and another light in the kitchen. The 2-person team worked effectively and tried not to leave a mess. We valued their professional work more so besides our pre-covering the piano, cabinets, countertops, we did our own thorough cleanup afterwards. A day after, one dimmer became not fully responsive. We contacted Iraj and he came back to replace the dimmer. Overall, it was a very productive and pleasant experience. Truly we were very pleased to meet and obtain Iraj and Amin's professional help! We really like the 'new' bright kitchen and living room! We will call iraj for future needs; and will refer Emelco Electric to families, friends and neighbors with full confidence. I am taking time to write this review since I have been benefited by reading other people's reviews - so hope this review can be of use too.

I hired Emelco to install recessed lighting in two room, two ceiling fans, and outlets for outdoor lighting. I was a littler nervous because they gave me an estimate within 30 seconds of me finishing my description of the job. I expected the final cost to skyrocket because there might have been costs he didn’t know about. His estimate didn’t change, his work was top notch. They were quick and clean. And to top it all off they are just really good guys personally too. I’ll use them again if I have more work and I will definitely recommend them to friends.
