Description of Work: ELOS(Everybody Loves Our Service) cleans each vent separately. ELOS uses reusable filters that can be cleaned with a hose, dried and put back. Furthermore, they told us we can skip two years cleaning because of the thoroughness of their clean-up procedures. They also did the attic access. We noticed the difference in the air almost right away. We hope the cleaning goes a long way!

+ 0 moreWayne and his son called us on the way over as requested. They were on-time and efficient. They completed all the work within the expected time frame and spend extra time showing us how the new filters work and how to clean them. Overall, we would happily use them again
Description of Work: Wayne cleaned out roughly 20 vents in our home and also replaced our temporary air filters with permanent self-cleaning ones.

They cleaned up after themselves which was good. The price was okay. It was similarly priced when compared to the others. We would use them again in the future.

+ 1 moreWayne Wood is the owner and the person who performs duct cleaning for Elos Duct Cleaning. First, he explained on the phone what he does and why his approach of cleaning each duct (he charges by the duct) works better than most services that set up a single suction point. We set up a time and he was very punctual (including giving me a call just before coming to our home). Everything was done professionally including cleaning out a dryer vent that turned out to be almost totally clogged - a major fire hazard. I cannot recommend Wayne and Elos Duct Cleaning too highly.
Description of Work: Cleaned 10 ducts (one-at-a-time) including the dryer vent. Returned all furniture to their original locations. Excellent job!

They explained to me the difference about true duct cleaning versus the $55 whole house special which you can do with your own vacuum. You don?t need anybody to come out. They were very efficient. They came out and checked. They came out when they said they were going to come out and came out the next day itself. I was very happy with their service. I did think that they were competitively priced too.

+ 0 moreWayne was recommended by another parent at my daughter's school. When I left a message, he called me back within 12 hours, and was able to discuss a firm estimate per duct over the phone. We were able to schedule an appointment within the next week. He did his work, was very considerate, and worked with me to make sure the impact of the loud noise on our cats was minimal. We have breathed much more easily since he left!
Description of Work: Wayne spent two hours blowing air into ducts to loosen construction debris and dust, and then vacuuming it out. He also cleaned our HVAC unit and the cool air register. He was very clear about what the process entailed. He arrived on time, worked hard, and finished within 15 minutes of his estimate.

+ -1 moreI felt that I was robbed. The guy was nice enough until he held me up for $350.00, $100.00 more than his quote. This wasn't rocket science and I think he ended up charging me something like $110.00 for his time. I don't know whether he did a good job or not. Time will tell.
Description of Work: I contacted Elos Duct Cleaning to run some duct from one side of my basement to the middle, drill a hole in the floor, and connect it to my stove. Wayne came out and he quoted $250.00 so I told him to go ahead and do the job. It turned out the job was a bit more complicated than Wayne anticipated because there was a gas line (that he clearly saw) that was in the way. It took a bit longer while the plumber moved the gas line and it took a little effort but in no way did it warrant more money. I thought $250.00 was way high for adding duct to what was already there, but I wanted to have my stove ready to use ASAP. Anyway, he was here about two and a half to three hours and insisted that I pay $350.00 for the job. I tried to negotiate to $300.00, but he wouldn't budge and since I didn't want any trouble, I paid him $350.00. I would not use Elos again for this reason.
