It was excellent. Edward was exactly on time, the work was performed quickly and efficiently and the price was exactly as quoted. This was performed on a Sunday morning at 9am.

Very professional, Ed and Jason were courteous, friendly and efficient - careful to keep my house clean and unmarked. I really appreciated this aspect, as I have had damage done by another plumber in the past! This company was also very responsive and timely in setting up an appointment. I will be sure to recommend them and to use them again.

Called, Ed answered, made appointment for two days later. Ed and assistant arrived on time, (Area was ready for them.) I explained job. There was no known clog, just wanted to snake the drain as a preventive cleaning BEFORE any clog developed. Had been a few years since was done. Ed quoted price of $80 and I agreed. While Ed made other phone calls, prepared my bill, took my payment, his assistant went to work with electric snake (rooter). He was finished in about 10 minutes, packed up, and he and Ed left.

Great - done in about the time estimated - sewer seems to work fine

They were efficient and competent. They did the job properly. Everything was fine. We added some tubing to the drain out so as to be able to find it easily the next time. We did a lot of digging to locate it. I was quite satisfied with their responsiveness.

Thanks to all who reviewed this company on Angie's List, I tried Drain Masters based on the number of reviews and the overall rating. I was VERY happy with the initial call -- "we'll have someone there within the next hour" and this promise was kept! The service was effective (no more clog), efficient (took less than 20 minutes) and friendly -- can't beat it. Thank you, Drain Masters. Your on my Favorites list now. :-)

This is an unusual and difficult problem since the pipes are in buried in cement, over 50 feet long and incorporating many angles and valves. We called Ed Sylvester (had used him before). He responded prompltly and after 4 hours of hard work, including getting into hip high water, was able to clear the pipes. This required using pressure washing and snakes in both directions. The work was difficult, time consuming and required inginuity (not the usual job). Throughout all this frustrating and dirty work he remained cheerful and completed the job leaving a working system.

In the midst of a bathroom remodel, I noticed water from the kitchen sink backing up into the shower pan (which was due for inspection). Drainmasters came out right away, cleaned out the drain and noticed that the clean out near the front door(behind a bush) had backed up recently (we missed this). I asked that he clean out the line to the street, as well, since this was an annual problem (roots). All this was done in a timely and professional manner. I will be calling Drainmasters again when necessary.

Saturday morning we discovered the sewer line was plugged and not draining. I tried to snake the drain, but could not get far enough down the line to reach the plug. Called Drain Master about 1 PM and they said they could be here around 3 PM. I called again about 3:30 and they said they were just about finished where they were and would get here as soon as possible. They arrived just before 5 PM. Once on site, they had to remove a toilet (they had asked on the phone if the house has a 3" cleanout that is required for the larger router head, it does not). They did a good job and cleared out some root growth. They replaced the toilet when finished. There were 2 minor issues that they could have done better: the toilet was not tightened down to the floor as tight as it should have been (I tightened it down a few weeks later), and they could have been a little better on the clean up (a couple "dirt"? smears on the wall and door frame). Otherwise they were very good, and pleasant to deal with and did not charge extra for a Saturday visit (I don't know if that's common, but it wouldn't have surprised me).

He came out spent about 15 minutes with the snake. Gave up and said the is possible object in the line. Took my $80 cash and split. The next day I call another company he cleared the the line with no problem. Said it was grease build up. Spent about a hour to make sure the problem was solved. He even sold me special chemical to prevent the grease build up problem. I will never use this company ever again (Flake).

Overall a pleasant experience. Ed arrived exactly on time. Was very professional and friendly. Got to work immediately and completed the job efficiently and neatly. Price was quite fair. Would certainly use again.

The technician was unable to clear the stoppage. He tried snaking with two machines both from the sink and vents on the roof. When he couldn't clear up the stoppage, he said I had something crazy with the plumbing. He suggested the next step was to tear into the walls and fix the bad pipes. I decided I would do any tearing into walls and investigated the routing of the drain pipes. I then called another company and their technician was able to successfully snake and clear the drain.

One quick call and 1/2 hour later Edward was here to fix the problem. The work was done quickly, cleanly and he adjusted a bathroom sink at the same time, instructing me so that I can do the adjustment in the future if needed. What a nice guy!

Ed showed up on time. I was given a call 1/2 hour before he arrived. He ran the snake to clear the kitchen sink; this also cleared up the bathtub. I was charged only for one job, even though I was informed that the bathtub would cost an additional $30 if more work was involved. The job is guaranteed for 60 days.

They showed up on time. They did the work that they said they would do. They were quick and efficient. They were very effective in fixing the problem with the drains.

Fantastic -- fast, efficient, and polite. Answered the phone personally and was here within an hour (somewhat by luck -- he was on a job one city over). No attempt to sell other products like some of the big name competition -- just did the work, did it well, and was off. Drain Masters will definitely get my call the next time a drain plugs up!

Woke up to a stopped-up kitchen sink. Called in the a.m. and asked them to come after 2 p.m. They showed up right at 2 and snaked the drain from the rooftop. I paid them and they left! Overall it was painless. Although I was taken aback when the plumber, while looking for the clean-out next to the house, kicked and dug in my flowerbed with his boot! I hope the violets recover.

Ed and his apprentice arrived at my home on time (a few minutes early even!). They were in and out within 30-40 minutes and that included unexpectedly having to purchase and replace the tub's trip lever. Quality work, done quickly and efficiently. Very impressed.

It was fine. The guy came out and solved the problem for us in a matter of a few minutes. This was a good trade off on the money versus the time that was spent.

I called them Friday afternoon, they said they'd be out sat by noon, and if they could get there earlier they would call. Waited all morning for them, at 2:30pm I called and left a voicemail. Never heard back from them. We had people over for dinner, and they couldn't use the bathroom sinks. Terrible customer service. If you can't make it, at least have the courtesy to call so I could call someone else.

Ed arrived within 24 hours after I called to request his assistance. We scheduled to have the work done between 8:30 - 9:00am. I was very impressed with a 30 minute window. It is obvious that this company respects that I have better things to do on my day off then to sit around waiting to have someone show up. Ed arrived at 8:30am sharp. He took 45 minutes to perform all 4 repairs, and we talked about him coming in to re-pipe behind the wall, when we put in the new master bathroom. Everything works well now ... and my wife is going to be very happy. Thanks Ed !!!

It went very well. They came on time to look into the issues. The snaked the tub and re-did the pipes for our garbage disposal. He was also nice in recommending that our kitchen sink faucet be replaced. We liked it was quoted on a job basis versus hourly rate.

Ed and his assistant were great. They showed up on time, offered to take off their shoes before coming inside and went right to work. Both drains were snaked to the sewer and the job was successful. They told me the charge at the very beginning, which is much better than being surprised at the end.
