Delamore Fencing

Excellent service from Kevin and his crew. Came when scheduled for estimate, came back for modification at my request. Answered multiple requests for additional information promptly, sent photos of examples, were reachable by phone and text. Installation was quick and clean, all debris removed, etc. Came back for adjustments on request and were very competitive on price.

I could not have hired a more professional and reasonably priced contractor to do this work. All this work for only $2,084.00. I also got a bid from one of their competitors, Sierra Lumber. Sierra owns their own lumber mills and yards. I thought they would be a lot cheaper. There bid was $3100. I couldn't believe it! Keven Delamore, the owner, said he believes in charging customers a fair price. He does not want to "gouge" anyone. I am extremely pleased with Delamore's Fencing's finished product and ,of course, their price.

It took two visits to get the estimate correct due to the special circumstances of the retaining wall. Everything went smoothly and Delamore ended up in the middle of the pack cost-wise. The two-man crew showed up each of the three days on time. They were very friendly and professional. They used top grade fencing and did a stellar job back filling the retaining wall and replacing my neighbor's decorative rocks. The gate is very sturdy and matches the fencing. The entire project was finished on time, and the work site was cleaned up thoroughly. Absolutely outstanding in every way.

It went well. We scheduled the installation date and Delamore showed up. They started removing the old fences and put in the new with their defined procedure. Then they worked the fence until the afternoon when it was completed. Quality was very good. I would recommend them.

We were very pleased with that. We bid a few.? They were sort of the best in terms of quality/price. They gave us a date, showed up on that date, told us it was a two day job, and two days later we had a brand new fence.? They're A's across the board.?

Delamore Fencing is the best! High quality fencing material, punctual, hard working crew, very professional, easy to talk to Kevin Delamore. We had 177 ft. of fencing (included 3 gates) and the price was $6,500 ( which we shared with the neighbors) and was the lowest out of 3 estimates. We are having more fencing done and Kevin is coming back for another estimate in May. You can't get a better company. Kevin's brother-in-law answers the phones and is so easy to talk to as well.

Best fencing company ever used. Very punctual, work was first class and even though they may have been a few dollars more clearly worth the extra money. The fence is high quality and everything was perfect

They were on time for the estimate and for the service. The work was done well and on time. The construction crew was courteous and left a clean job site. My neighbor had them completely replace a fence for them at the same time and that also went well. For our fence they replaced the posts but re-used the panels so we could save costs and both fences look great. Would definitely recommend.

Was told scheduling an estimate was 10 weeks out and they would not do any "small" jobs of less than 80 feet of fencing.

I was very pleased with every aspect of the service. Professional, friendly, responsive. Called to remind me they were coming out for the scheduled estimate. Estimate included fence post caps, but they recommended I buy them on my own at a lower price - appreciated that they tried to keep my cost down as much as possible. Apologetic when they had to cancel the initial scheduled date for the work due to February rains. Rescheduled as soon as possible. Did the work while I was at work, and I could barely tell they had been there (other than that my gate now worked again) - the clean up was great. I would definitely go to Hugh and Kevin again for future work! And I have already recommended them to others....

I was unable to schedule an estimate as my home was outside of the local area that Delamore serviced due to the high demand of the recent rainy weather this past winter. Hugh was very professional and provided alternative fencing provider that would service my area. I commend Hugh's business practice and to be transparent and honest.

The work was done well, very professional. They completed the work ahead of time.

I called them and they didn't call me back. They didn't respond to my request. I called and left message. I've been going to their website and there was one other Q&A type of forms which I filled out. I said what I wanted to do and there was no callback. I don't know if it was a different company. These guys, when they realize that the job or the project is not very big, they don't even bother to callback. I could still use them by calling and talking to me.

Kevin came out to provide us with a quote for replacing our front yard fence and portions of our back fence that were falling down. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and honest with the work that we needed to do. He said that we did not replace the whole back fence, but just the posts. I really liked that he did not try to upsell with work that we didn't need and his prices were very competitive. The crew arrived on time and were polite. There was a small miscommunication about the type of fence step-down that we wanted, but Kevin and his crew fixed the issue and made the fence exactly how we wanted it. It looks great and his crew were careful not to damage the flowers by the fence. We will use them in the future when we need to replace more of our fence.

I like Kevin because he is very easy to talk to. The parts that didn't work so well was attention to detail. He mis-measured my front gate and was off by 2 inches. Also, we did not talk about latches until I realized that latches were not in the quote. I also had given him a picture of the driveway gate I wanted and his measurements and design produced a very different looking product. I asked that he re-do the front gate and trust that he did re-do the front gate to measure. He did offer to re-do the driveway gate, but decided to stay with the one he installed. There was also a problem with the driveway gate latch install that necessitated replacing the board that it was on. Lot's of re-do in this order, which is why I would not work with him again. I also noticed that the front fence posts are beginning to develop cracks. Kevin is very nice and I really appreciated his willingness to re-do, but it takes more time and effort and in the end I was not completely satisfied with the result.

The estimate that we received was very competitive and provided in a timely manner. Ultimately, I went with another company since my neighbor (who was party to the project) had prior experience with the other company. Will certainly consider Delamore fencing for the future projects.

We originally contacted Delamore fencing along with two other fence companies for estimates back in October 2013, however, we could not get both neighbors involved to agree to replace all the fence so the project was put on hold. Delamore's quote had been very competitive so last November 2015 when all neighbors were ready I contacted Delamore Fencing for an updated quote. We had changes to the layout of the fencing and sent the modifications over. They were prompt in providing us the update and cheaper than new quotes we had received from other fence companies. Keven even came out again and met with the neighbors to discuss the details. We gave them the deposit and they said they would arrive Monday morning Feb 15th between 8:00 and 8:30 and that it would take a full week to do the job. They arrived promptly on Monday and immediately went to work taking down the old fence. The men doing the work were hard working, polite and courteous. On Thursday I came home and realized the short 12 foot section of the fence that was to have a double gate was in the wrong location, the original fence was at a weird 35 degree angle to the house and we wanted it 90 degrees to the house. I spoke to the crew foreman in the morning and he said, "Sure, no problem we can move the posts and fence" and it was in the desired location when I came home from work on Friday. Overall the fence looks great, the posts are set solid, the long 150 foot runs of fence are in a nice straight line, not crooked or leaning posts. The gates are solid, properly aligned and good quality hardware was used. I've already recommended Delamore Fencing to a friend at work, and have no problem recommending them to you.

Very professional, punctual and responsive. Provided a free estimate during which they recommended replacing the fence posts alone instead of the full fence, saving around $2000 from the total cost. Price was not the cheapest, but it was definitely competitive since other providers also quoted around the same final quoted price. I didn't grade them on quality since it has been only a few days since they finished the work, which is too soon to judge the work.

Very professional and responsive. We upgraded both redwood boards and rails. We also upgraded the lattice to arched piano key. We are very pleased with the job quality and the final result.

I called several places in mid-June for price quotes for a new fence for our house. I left a message for Delamore Fencing and heard back several weeks later and had them come out for an estimate. The estimate was done on the spot and he used a book of photos to help chose what fence styles and colors I like. The estimate was a little under what some others had quoted but the warranty was also shorter than others. I guess I was put off by not having a call back soon after my call. I was also put off, which I am sure is just me, when I asked how much was it for the upgraded wood and he said 16% more. I asked if he could write down the dollar figure so I had that on the quote and he mad some joke about math and wrote down 16% not the dollar amount.

Our experience with Delamore Fencing was completely frustrating. We ordered 4 gates with a little window / speakeasy grill and locks that were keyed the same. We spent 2 months across multiple onsite meetings clarifying our request in writing and with photos. I even specified the part numbers for the locks that allowed to be keyed the same. On the day of installation there were no speakeasy windows in the doors and the locks had not been keyed the same. They also had one door that was the wrong size. Additionally, the handles that were to go over the locks were not delivered. Additionally, no one ever explained that the gates would have no weather protection. The installer and the front office literally explained we could hire someone else to stain or poly the doors so they don't turn grey over time. Frankly we should have hired someone else to do the gates entirely. I would avoid Delamore Fencing for any gate work as they clearly have a distracted front office that cannot communicate with the installers.

We found them to be very good. We were very pleased with that. They are professional and very customer oriented. It wasn't necessarily the pricing but it was more the service excellence and the kind of attitude they had in terms of providing a quality service. It was a fair price and not necesarily the most economical price. That was the basis for our choice. It was a good price for what they did.
