Every step of the way they were on time and professional. They had told us it would take two days and they completed the job by 1pm the first day. They sent invoices to all of the other homeowners so we did not have to collect the money and split it all up. I have already recommended them to 2 other people.

Really great! They provided us with accurate cost and work estimates and delivered a very high quality fence on time. The job took less than 2 days to complete. They also took the time to explain to us the long-term maintenance recommendations for the fence. All neighbors who share this fence are equally happy. They invoiced us for our proportional amount of the fence, relieving us of the work to figure out exactly what each neighbor owed for the total job. We will certainly use them again in the future.

After contacting 2 top tiered fencing companies (both A rated on Angie's List) and being ignored after their initial visit, it was refreshing that Cuevas Lumber & Fencing responded to our needs in a timely and professional manner. After the initial quote, they got back to us to schedule the job and let us know progress every step of the way. The end result was a beautiful fence with piano key top panel. Off sets the house perfectly! People have been stopping by and admiring their work. What better way to advertise!!

Amazing speed. Since we had to reschedule this activity, had requested Hugh to help get this done in a day, due to few activities happening over the weekend. I was surprised at the number of people who showed up to get our 200+ ft of fence replaced. The team was punctual in showing up and started the work at their pace. Took around 10 hours to get the whole fence replaced, and importantly cleaned up the whole place before they left. The choice of choosing them was made after obtaining an estimate with 2 other vendors, Cuevas being the most economical for the job and being the top rated vendor of the 3 vendors we choose.

Everything went like clockwork, employees were courteous and punctual and the quality--so far as I can tell at this point--is excellent. I am very particular about things, so this is very high praise indeed. The estimator, Kevin, called back promptly and scheduled the estimate for the next day. Came right on time and gave me the estimate on the spot. Talked with the neighbor who was home too and answered everyone's questions. I was surprised that he didn't offer to show pictures of different fence types--he walked us down the street to show us a fence that he said was "similar" to what we would get. If you want a particular type of fence, you might mention it up front. I was very happy with the standard style they built for us though. My follow-up questions about what was included were answered very quickly and professionally. The work was scheduled 2 wks out, which was faster than I expected. Two workers came exactly on time and per my husband, who was home, worked very efficiently and professionally. They cleaned up completely after the first day (I was very impressed) and at completion the end of the second day. The thing that really delighted me was they were very careful around my precious plants. I had assumed everything would get trampled but I could hardly tell they worked there except for the new fence. The fence is just beautiful. They sent the invoice by email immediately after the work was completed, which is very efficient and more comfortable for me than handing the workers the check which could get lost. Before I talked with Kevin, I had expected to have to pay at least half in advance; it was pleasant doing business with a company who trusts you. I highly recommend Cuevas Lumber and Fencing for this type of work.

The estimator came out and we sepnt a lot of time going through the project(s) and the information and exchange was very helpful and informative. The problem was that they never made contact again. Thinking this was a mistake or lost contact information, I called them to inquire and update my information. I never received a call back. If they were overbooked, I would have appreciated a call nonetheless. Terrible experience.

They did a great job. They showed up on time, performed the work that they said they would and promptly cleaned up after themselves upon completion. A+++

I was happy with the actual work overall. They could have been just a bit better about responding. It was occasionally difficult to get a hold of the man actually in charge at time. I like their work and liked the people who were sent out to do the work. I also liked the initial consultation. It was clear and easy to follow. The price was very fair.

Ugh, I rushed home to be there in time for a confirmed appointment with their estimator and he cancelled at the very last minute. That is such a pet peeve of mine. Is his time so much more valuable than mine? RUDE!

There was nothing I disliked about them. Their price was extremely reasonable. It was a project we had kept waiting for more than three years. They gave us the best price which nobody else could. They showed up when they said they would show up. They finished on time and were very professional. They did an excellent job. There was a neighbor who complained about something and they took care of that. They were really nice and professional. They were excellent.

Crew was delayed by 1 day, worked on Saturday to completed 2nd good neighbor fence so my yard would not be open. Estimated 2-3 days - took 3 days. Beautiful job - beautiful fence. Addressed all my concerns. One of my neighbors was so happy with our shard fence he had them come later the same week to do his retaining wall and fence.

The job took three and one-half days, and went smoothly and efficiently. The sales and estimating department worked with numerous changes by the neighors before the job began, with requests funneled through one neighbor acting as chief communicator. The fence fabricators worked efficiently and skillfully, happily tolerating questions and requests from the customers. We are totally thrilled with the end-product, and we highly recommend Cuevas Fence & Lumber.

I needed to replace one full fence and the lattice cap on the rest of the fencing. Cuevas was very responsive in coming out to provide a quote (provided it on the spot) and did not try to up-sell me to replace existing fencing that did not need to be replaced. For both the quote and the work, they came out as scheduled. The work was high quality and when they left, other than great new fencing, you couldn't tell they'd been there (completely cleaned up before leaving). I highly recommend Cuevas Lumber & Fence.

They did a great job. Fidell Cuevas came out to quote the job, from the very beginning he was positive and flexible. Other fence companies were not. I asked other fence companies if they can build a wood gate with a metal frame, they could not, Cuevas could. I needed the neighbors junk removed from the shed. Fidell said no problem, the others gave me excuses why they could not. Cuevas also had no problem dealing with the shed roof that was supported by the fence. Cuevas was on time, they cleaned all there mess up, and the quality of workmanship was excellent. His workers were friendly and hard working. They finished the job when they said they would. I also requested a special keyed gate latch, no problem they ordered it and installed in. They also billed my two other neighbors separately, so I did not have to deal with that. I had three other quotes and Cuevas pricing was competitive and they were the only ones who could do all the tasks I needed done. I have designed and built my own house, so I have hired a lot of sub-contractors, Cuevas has been one of the best companies I have worked with. I would use Cuevas again, they are a pleasure to work with. Please consider them you will not be sorry.

I needed a dog run in short order. Cuevas measured the area, gave me a quote within my price range, and were onsite building the gate and fencing within a week. The work is solid and my dogs are safe and happy.

I agreed with my neighbor on the need to repair/replace a short section of our fence. We had to go through several iterations to come up with a configuration that worked for both of us. The work done was of exceptional quality.

I have used Cuevas Lumber & Fence at our old house, and they did an amazing job, so I knew they were the perfect people to do the fence job at our new house. We just moved into a hillside property up in the los gatos foothills, and we needed some fencing to protect our young children. We needed fencing and a gate around the side yards; we needed new wrought iron fencing along the hillside (there was only a hokey chicken-wire fence that wouldn't hold in a flea), and we needed a new wrought iron pool fence/gate as there wasn't a pool fence there at all. Kevin's team came out on Wednesday, and they had all the fencing up by noon on Saturday. They did a GORGEOUS job! The redwood fence along the back of the pool has beautiful piano lattice work that is really stunning. The wrought iron was installed beautifully, and I especially love the lockable, self-closing gate on the pool. Many layers of security for my young kids. Kevin and team have the BEST prices of any fencing contractor I've ever used. I have more fence needs here, and when I'm ready to move forward on those projects, I'll absolutely be calling Kevin!

My neighbor found them and arranged it so I don't know easy he was to work with. My neighbor did all the work and because he dealt with Cuevas, he made a recommendation on who he thought would be the best which was fine. We looked at style fence and agreed on a style that would work which was fine. He arranged for them to come in and all that stuff. The price I paid was half the price of the fence. I would recommend them. They did a great job. They did a good job cleaning up and that is important. Compared to the other guys their price was very good. I got to see all the estimates. They came when they were supposed to.

Arranged to get an estimate. Spent about one hour at my house for a quote on decking, fence, and pergola. Was told I'd get a quote either next day or within 1-2 days, I can't recall. Either way, its been three weeks, and I've heard nothing.

These guys are FANTASTIC. The workmanship was just beautiful and, as I was home sick for the days that they were working, I was able to see the thought and quality of work that went in to each cut. They did make one mistake on the railing that they were replacing on the seperate deck (not really their fault. They were building it right but we had asked them to match the incorret way that the rest of the railing had been built) but, as soon as my husband noticed and pointed it out, they immediately fixed it, no questions asked. The crew was very polite and worked dilligently and as quietly as possible. We couldn't be happier with the results of the job and feel the price pais was very reasonable.
