Description of Work: Cuevas built a speciality front fence from a picture I had and it came out perfect. They also replaced a lot of my deck which was in very bad shape. They did a terrific job and I was very happy with everything. I am going to use them again for my side fence. Good work at a fair price. Excellent workmanship and very pleasant also. A rarity in this day of age.

 + -1 moreSeveral neighbors had used Cuevas, so we got an estimate only from them. The price seemed reasonable for what we got. Two other neighbors joined in and got their fences done as well. I had a retaining wall put in by another company and then Cuevas added their fence on top. Overall I'm very pleased. They were easy to schedule, performed the work on schedule, and did a top quality job.
Description of Work: About 200 linear feet of 6' tall board on board fencing. Two gates. Triple latic E on about half of it.

 + -1 moreBased largely on reading a review on line, we asked Cuevas to bid on the deck that we needed to replace on our new home. It was clear that Cuevas had a lot of experience, and while they didn't usually work up on the Peninsula, our deck project was big enough that they submitted a bid (quickly, and by email, which were both appreciated). The combination of a reasonable bid and the professionalism demonstrated in our first meeting convinced us. The work on the deck started a few weeks later. The crew that worked on it was polite and efficient;lots of fun to come home and see what progress they had made. We had the deck built with ipe, which is a Brazilian hardwood that Cuevas showed us. We're very happy we went with it, and Cuevas has a lot of experience working with the wood (it's very hard, so has to be pre-drilled). The deck was finished right before Thanksgiving, and it's gorgeous. We're really thrilled to have such a beautiful deck.
Description of Work: A 500 square foot deck off the kitchen of our new house was rotten and needed to be torn down and completely replaced. It's about 7' off the ground. We used ipe (Brazilian hardwood) as the decking material. We also had support posts for our front steps replaced as they were rotting.

Had I known about it, I might have opted for it. Regardless, we are very happy with our new fence. We would gladly recommend Cuevas Construction.
