Description of Work: We had our chimney cleaned professionally for the 1st time in 28 yrs. We have heated our home with a wood stove when allowed. Not surprising, our wood stove is burned out and not safe to use. Our chimney also needs tending. We will soon be purchasing a new wood burning stove. The rep was on time and very professional. The company has a very good reputation.

Description of Work: Cleaned the chimney and found that the chimney was broken at the roof line. |They took down the chimney brick by brick, replaced broken tiles within the chimney and rebuilt the chimney, strapped it and repaired problems inside the fireplace.

Description of Work: Dennis and his crew were excellent. Contact over the phone was very professional, Dennis immediately provided useful and detailed information on the work anticipated for my needs (chimney cap under roof line). The quote was very competitive. On the day of the work, they arrived on time, and got the job done as discussed. He even took the extra step to ensure that the chimney is locked inside to avoid someone accidentally starts a fire. Everything was clean when they completed and my wife was very pleased! Strongly recommend.

Description of Work: They cleaned my dryer vent which goes through the wall, turns down, turns horizontal and goes through the crawl space out to the air. They gave a specific appointment time, got to my home before that time and cleaned it out quickly. Prior: load of towels = 2 hours. Afterward: 45 minutes. Yeah!

Description of Work: The first visit was for inspection and cleaning. The owner came to do the work. He did the inspection and noted that I did not have flashing around the chimney. Which had caused water to leak into the attic. He also said my fireplace was not functional and rusted. This would cost a lot to repair. I asked about a gas insert. He gave us a catalog of energy efficient ones and offered a payment plan if we were interested. The second visit was from the foreman who also showed up on time. Listened to my concerns and took the time to help solve my problems. I thought the company was very good. The price on the phone was what they charged. They call you back promptly if you leave a message for them. They come out, and are very knowledgeable. They do the work without all that other stuff I have dealt with using other companies. I can recommend them without reservation, and in the future would call them if the need arises again.

 + -1 moreThe man who performed the work was very punctual and also very careful about not making a mess in the house. He taped over the fireplace with plastic sheeting before sweeping. There were also no complaints about having to go up on our very high and steep roof. We were very satisfied.

 + 0 moreOverall, we are pleased with the work done. Ron was the sweep that came out and was very quick and friendly. He offered solid advice and we plan to use them again in the future. The only negative about the experience was that Ron was supposed to show up at 9:30 AM, but came 45 minutes early waking my wife who had been up with our newborn. Only a minor frustration. Overall, I recommend Chimney Clean Co.
Description of Work: Had them come out to clean and inspect chimney. Based on findings, also had them install a heat shield and add weather sealant to our chimney.

 + -1 moreThe gentleman who arrived was right on time (literally rang the door bell at 8:00 a.m.) and was very friendly and cordial. He also took the time to cut some limbs off of our tree, that was near the chimney, which was very nice considering that's not their job. Also gave us recommendations for purchasing supplies and noted that we were using the wrong type of grate. Would definitely recommend and use their services in the future!
