+ -1 moreWas very pleased with CCC. Ben and Jonathan delivered as promised, on schedule, and were frequently on site to oversee construction. This was a commercial construction near Century City. The location began as a hollowed out shell and is now a modern office. We added everything from walls, electric, HVAC, glass, and even added an ADA compliant bathroom. Clients frequently visit and are impressed with the facilities.

+ 7 moreOur experiences with California Construction Center were very positive. Our contractor, Nir, was extremely capable and responsive. Every text and telephone call was handled quickly, efficiently, and pleasantly. I always knew that my kitchen remodel was important to him. California Construction Center is a very organized, professional company that stays with the customer until the very last detail is in place. I was really impressed by the skill level of the person who built our new cabinets, matching them up perfectly to our existing cabinets. The stone fabricator and the tile installer were both excellent as well. These individuals were perfectionists with an eye for details. If you want a reliable, responsive company that utilizes skilled craftsmen then you should hire California Construction Center. The work completed in our kitchen is truly beautiful!
Description of Work: After removing the damaged cabinets and drywall caused by a dishwasher leak, we were left with a non-functional kitchen that needed some major work. We needed some new insulation and drywall, new baseboards to match the remainder of our house, and several new cabinets that would match our existing undamaged cabinets. We replaced our old tile counter tops with a natural stone product (quartzite) and had a new back-splash installed. While we were at it, we decided to have upgraded stainless steel appliances installed.

+ 12 moreFANTASTIC!!! This is the 2nd time I've hired CCC. I hired CCC in 2013 to completely gut/rehab my condo and they did a beautiful job. Once I decided to have ductless mini-splits installed this year, I figured I might as well do the other things I had been thinking about throughout the past 3 years. So I called EZ back. Very good decision. A couple things I wanted were a little complicated, and he quickly had solutions with the right people to install and fix everything. Just like before, EZ was quick to respond to any and all questions and concerns. Just like before, the place looks great! Just like before, I'm glad I hired CCC. I had a very positive experience with CCC. I continue to recommend them to anyone who's looking for good, reliable contractors. I would, did, and will hire them again for any contracting work I need done.

Jonathan the owner showed up by himself and showed us lots of pictures of project that he did before and was very knowledgeable about the process and presented many ideas for a great designs! At our second appointment he presented couple of different designs for our kitchen and bathrooms which were very impressive! It helped us a lot in making a decision of choosing our right contractor and definitely in choosing colors and materials! He performed great skills and was very easy to communicate with (e-mail, calls, texts) which made the whole process very pleasant! We love our new house and will definitely use you guys in the future! Thank you california construction center for a great job and making it a pleasant experience.

I contacted Nir of California Construction Center, who not only was very informative about what was needed of all my requests and obviously willing to negotiate but, he was also very patient and honest. From the start of our discussion, he has the experience to see the same vision of my house that I wanted which was a mixture of contemporary and modern. I consulted to have an additional bathroom, remodeling of kitchen, wall closures on the second and third floor, ac/ heater replacement, garage requests, and window replacement. Being a fixer upper and a very uniquely built house, Nir was very patient and walked me through every single step of the procedure he will be building and repairing the house. In addition to being very informative about the process he also replies to messages and emails within minutes. Obviously when building a house, there will be unforeseen obstacles and Nir was very prompt and honest about his work and dealing with the situation. In conclusion, excellent work, excellent execution, and excellent with communication.

They were very helpful with the design and helping her choosing colors and materials for the bathroom tile,countertop and paint. Again it was a very pleasant experience and my mom is very happy with her new bathroom. He came out, we discussed what I wanted, he presented the options, walked the exterior, explained the process thoroughly. I had been researching TexCote and decided to go with that process. Ben agreed with my color choices and agreed they flowed well with my interior upgrades. It was a multi-day process and his crew was very punctual and very professional throughout. They even provided extra services at no additional cost such as pressure washing paint off my driveway that I had spilled, and also correctly repaired stucco issues that a prior contractor had created. Ben was in constant contact with me and regularly checked on the progress of the project. I honestly couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and will definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

+ 3 moreThis is our 2nd job with CCC. It was very well done. This time around the work was fairly small compared to our previous remodel and we were pretty clear on what we wanted. Even then EZ provided with some useful suggestions that helped improve the decor and saved some money. The work was done on time. They generally kept the place clean and also helped out with some minor repairs from previous job. I will surely be working with them again if I have any next project.

+ 5 moreThis was my second project with California Construction Center and they did an excellent job once again. I recently purchased a new home and they completed two significant repairs for me (patching the roof and repairing a garage) and completely gutted and remodeled a bathroom. The two repair projects went smoothly and were completed very quickly. Both look as good as new. The bathroom project is still in progress and so far looks great! They are very responsive, very patient and have been great about taking care of extra little things around the house when I ask (for example they also patched a wall for me and replaced base boards in a bedroom). Overall I've been very happy with the quality of their work and absolutely intend to work with them again on my next home improvement project.

Description of Work: When I met Mr. Nir …..I was “extremely” IMPRESSED with his punctuality, professionalism, flexibility in what I want, overall knowledge and skills during his presentations! As you search for a top candidate for your kitchen & bathroom remodel, and in during your due diligence in finalizing a contractor for your project, you really must meet with Mr. Nir! I “highly” recommend consulting with Mr. Nir. He patientlyexplained numerous of my remodeling options that are most attractive for my property. And he was very flexible. In addition, Mr Nir has many years of experience, and broad in-depth knowledge in “ALL” areas of remodeling and construction. Most importantly, Mr Nir has a very nice personality and “listened” to my concerns, goals and objectives while discussing my remodeling needs. Mr Nir presented to me in very ‘detailed” several options regarding my property in detailed 3D format on his computer…as he was flexible and making ALL the changes for my request. He showed me EXACTLY how my property will look…and he also provide numerous pictures, and it made it very clear and easy for me to tell him what I was trying to achieve. There are SO many companies…..and several companies met with me regarding estimates. They were all VERY different. One of the things that set Mr. Nir apart from others was his hard work and professionalism….during our 1st meeting, he met with me from 5:30 to 7:30 pm as he drafted and prepared his rendering by measuring my property precisely. Then on the 2nd meeting, he spent 4 hours with me again on a “Friday” to make sure that I understood EXACTLY what I can expect from him and exactly HOW my property will look after it was completed. He was extremely detailed and precise about every aspect of the DESIGN and remodel. He was extremely patient with his 3D presentation and his “written” proposal & estimate was very concise ( 5 pages of very helpful and transparent proposals of my cost). He ALSO explained what I can EXPECT for the cost of the materials (low, mid and high end), and this was extremely helpful to me in deciding…with other companies, I REALLY did NOT know what would be paying for!! Finally, his proposal was very clear to me in COST & FINAL remodeling…from A-Z. I was most comfortable with his candor, skills, knowledge and his thorough approach as he answered EVERY questions I asked! California Construction Center and Mr Nir is a “contractor/builder” compared to some other “handyman.” I will write a follow-up review…

+ 2 moreI desperately needed our son's bathroom remodeled because of mold. This remodel was the 2nd one in 2 years with another contractor, the first was a disaster. The mold returned. I looked on Angie's List and found California Construction Center. I read the reviews and watched their video. I was a little "gun shy" to call because of my horrible experience with the other contractor, but I called anyway and I was glad I did. Ez the owner showed up on time and we looked at the bathroom and I told him my horror story. Ez was very empathetic and preceded to tell me how he would approach the project step by step. I was almost in tears when I realized how I was taken advantage of by the previous contractor. Ez agreed to return to our home on Saturday to meet with my husband so that we could sign the contract. The remodel experience went smoothly. His men showed up on time, left my home clean. His men were courteous; no loud music. I felt comfortable with them working in my home. If I had any questions or concerns Ez was only a text away. Ez would always ask if "I was happy?". Ez showed a lot of patience, because I was so distrustful of contractors, I probably was not one of his favorite customers. The bathroom is gorgeous. I am not embarrassed to show people my bathroom because California Construction Center did such a great job! I definitely would hire California Construction Center again, when we are ready to remodel our kitchen!

+ 6 moreAfter a slow toilet leak caused water damage resulting in mold damage, we found ourselves in need of a contractor to oversee multiple projects. Ezzy was prompt in connecting with us, getting us on the schedule and pushing hard to complete projects on time. His team was careful to protect furniture and limit dust while doing highly skilled work. They were usually on time, and always courteous, and respectful. His team carefully juggled access with another company's mold remediation team. They even went beyond to uncover and rearrange furniture to carve out a space for my family to celebrate Christmas in the midst of construction. California Construction made having my house torn up through the holidays less painful. And the finished spaces are lovely! High quality construction. High-average pricing. Highest quality customer service.

Nir, the general contractor, came by my condo several times to discuss the project and made sure I was clear and comfortable with the process. His installer, Eran, is top notch and made sure everything with his crew went smoothly. The job was even done a day ahead of schedule! I would recommend Nir, Eran, and California Construction Center to my closest friends and family.

+ 2 moreWe had a number of contractors give us estimates and ideas for 2 bathroom remodels and possible small addition to our house. We were unclear of the codes and if we could even do an addition. most of the contractors either just guessed at the codes or told us it was a bad idea and tried to rush us into a decision. Ben from California Construction took his time to listen to all of our concerns and ideas and suggested having his architect come to the house and provide a number of plans as well as check with the city to find out what was allowed. It added a step to the project but we would have ended up paying for it in the end anyway. Also, it allowed us to see all the possibilities before we got started. After this he worked with us many many times and was alway patient and generous with his time to help us come to a decision on what project was best for us. He never pressured us and always listened even when we were driving him in circles. When we finally make a choice im sure we will be doing what is right for us because he took the extra time to help us get there. thanks again ben. i will update the review when the full project is done.

I wasn't expecting to hire a contractor to do the job but as soon as I met Yaniv from CCC, I knew he'd make my life much easier by taking over the entire project. The initial quote was high, but Yaniv was able to adjust the project and bring the price within budget. So far the project is on schedule and work looks good. I shall provide a more detailed update once the project project is fully complete.

I called California Construction Center, i read their reviews and i checked them on Houzz, i saw their TV show flip this house. Jonathan the owner came and i showed him what i have in mind, i really like this guy! he is very friendly, professional and confident. He measured my house and scheduled a second meeting. when he came the 2nd time i was amazed!, he opened his laptop and showed me a renderings of how my house will look like. we negotiated a fair price and signed a contract. Their work ls really impressive, they finished on time, communication is easy and the crews are very respectful and kind. I will definitely recommend using them.

+ 2 moreMy wife and I were incredibly fearful when we decided to hire a contractor for our remodel. We worried we'd be screwed over and left with a home in shambles. We interviewed five or so companies for our complete home renovation. If they weren't expensive, they were unlicensed or sketchy. Johnny, the contractor behind California Construction Center, provides great service and fair prices. We are about half-way thru our complete home renovation (kitchen, two bathrooms, painting,electrical,plumbing etc) and Johnny has been nothing but honest with us about the progress of the job. Our home was built in the 1940's so some repairs presented themselves once the job commenced but Johnny took his time to be thorough with an explanation as to the cost and need for the repair or "change order". He's very flexible with our budget and allows us to be involved in the project. The icing on the cake- he takes credit cards so the airline miles are racking up and we are able to complete our renovation in one shot! Ben was wonderful throughout the remodel process. Accessible, responsive, and quality work. His team was respectful of our space, and they did excellent work. The work was quick, professional, and affordable. We'll be doing more renovation in a few months, and we've already signed a new contract to work with them again.

+ 1 moreWe had a very good experience with California Construction Center (CCC) from beginning to end. We found E.Z. (head of the company) very professional, punctual, organized, and helpful. He helped us refine our ideas for the remodel of our master bathroom and provided us with 3D computer renderings and information that helped us manage construction costs and time. He was exceptionally responsive and easy to get a hold of by text or email or phone. If a problem or question arose, he would get back to us quickly. With the exception of one tile subcontractor, all of his people were excellent. (Once CCC learned that the problem tile contractor was not showing up and getting work done, they immediately replaced him.) All of the subcontractors were very considerate and easy to have around the house. E.Z. was also helpful in connecting us with suppliers of doors, windows, and bathroom fixtures. He encouraged us to compare their prices with others, and we found their prices to be as good as if not better than others about half the time. We found online vendors were often the best source for bathroom fixtures and amenities. Our remodel took only a week longer than anticipated, chiefly due to the problem tile sub and a slow material supplier. Compared to past home improvement projects, this one was relatively problem and stress free. We found CCC's prices to be very competitive and an excellent value. We are very satisfied with our beautiful new bathroom, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend CCC or use them again.

Their bid was on the higher end but they were selected as?it was felt that they will be able to deliver a quality product per the specifications provided.? In addition, good communication skills were essential in the selection decision and Ezzy has very been good at staying in touch and providing updates.? He has been easy to work with?from the bidding process, start of project and execution.? He has been?honest on where to spend the budget and what changes are not worth the cost.? Most of the work is done by subcontractors who have so far been of high quality and demonstrated themselves as professionals with one exception....Ezzy has made extra efforts to address concerns that have been addressed.? My house was in desperate need of help--it hadn't been painted in at least 20 years and its stucco dates back to the 1950s. The project manager, Nir, clearly explained each step of the job before work began, and was always available to discuss any concerns as the work progressed. The painters spent numerous days on meticulous prep work and were consistently diligent and pleasant to be around throughout the project. The estimate for the job was higher than I had planned to pay; however, everyone went the extra mile to assure a comprehensive and beautiful job, which has made the price worth it.

EZ showed up the next day and helped us through all the steps from design to blueprints all the way to getting our dream house come true.
