I had the pleasure of working with Eitan, Jesus, and their team from Build The Bay general contractors after a rather unfortunate experience with a previous contractor. Our project included a kitchen remodel, a bay window installation in the living room, and a bathroom addition, and I must say, we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Work done: Complete remodel of two bathrooms and installation of luxury vinyl across those bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, hallway, and stairs. An ugly closet without doors also got a remodel. This was the first time I hired a contractor to remodel my house. I had a couple of contractors assess my project but I decided to go with Build the Bay because they were willing to work with me at getting the job done while I was out of town for 6 weeks in the most efficient manner. I also felt that I could trust Build the Bay with my house while not being physically present. The design and shopping phase was the most difficult as I had never done any of this, but Eitan provided excellent ideas and suggestions. This is the part that makes a home unique to any individual and I now understand "make your home truly yours. " During the construction phase and with me out of town, frequent updates and photos were provided. While there were unexpected hiccups along the way, they were resolved quickly. Build the Bay crew worked diligently at getting my project done and the final product is a beautiful entire second floor.

Eitan and his crew at Build the Bay came highly recommended to me by my sister-in-law and her husband who used them to remodel their bathroom. Working with Eitan was a delight! He responds within minutes of text messages and phone calls. He is very reliable and a man of his word. The crew at Build the Bay remodeled our bathrooms and we couldn't be happier. The crew takes pride in their work and it shows in the final result. If something was amiss, I merely had to speak with either Eitan or Jesus and the problem would be addressed immediately. His crew was also great to work with and very accommodating. It is not often you find a contractor who is so focused on both customer service and quality of work. Scope of work: 1. Moved the location of the kitchen 2. Broke few walls 3. Changed the flooring 4. Combined 2 bedrooms to build a new master bedroom with a walk in closet and a new bathroom. 5. Changed entire ducting 6. Level 5 smooth wall texture and painting Shortlist process: I met with at least 20+ contractors and finally shortlisted my top 5 based on pricing and online reviews. Build the Bay was one of them. We finalized on Build the Bay (Eitan) based on our interactions with him at some other job site. We noticed his attention to detail and work ethics and he came across as an honest man who did not make excuses but gave logical explanation for every question we asked. On top of it, in terms of pricing he was in the top3. Workmanship: Eitan has a great team of men. His main man, Jesus was also great to work with and has an excellent attitude. 1. Punctuality and communication - We had a whatsapp group where Eitan always communicated when his men would come for work and he would also promptly answer any questions we had for him. He pushed us to ensure we were on top of providing materials so that they would not miss the dates they had promised on delivering the project. Eventually despite some delays on our end to procure finish materials, they finished within 3 months, as committed at the start. 2. Cleanliness - We stayed at home during the entire construction, but we never had any issues. The crew always made sure they cleaned up the work area before they left. 3. Honesty - What struck us the most was the honesty towards their work. There were a couple occasions when Jesus himself informed us about certain imperfections in the quality of the work due to which he was going to redo it. Frankly I had not even noticed the issues myself. But that clearly showed how much they cared about the quality. Eitan also came across as a very honest person. There were few occasions when we only had a verbal agreement but he always remembered it and honored it. 4. Great team - On a day to day basis you interact with the team, so it is important for them to be likeable. Jesus and his men are simply the best and very jolly and knowledgeable people. 5. Eitan went out of the way with some material pick ups. 6. Eitan is very knowledgeable and was able guide us in choosing materials. Also he was patient to explain any construction related technicalities which helped us make better decisions. 7. Eitan was very accommodating with our new ideas that kept coming up throughout the project. 8. Overall quality - We are very happy with the overall quality and outcome of the project. All our friends have loved the work as well and have asked for his reference. Eitan and his team will be our go to people without any hesitations for any future projects.

I've worked with Eitan twice over the past five years and both times been very successful. The first time was a Kitchen remodel. Eitan worked with us to plan everything out and make sure we had everything ordered and ready. He said the work would take 3 weeks and it did. The room became my favorite room in the house. When we moved to a new house and needed remodeling it was a no brainer to go with him again. We did quite a bit more work the second time around, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen cabinet/counter refresh, new hardwood floors throughout plus painting. Now every room I go into is great, so I can't have a favorite. Eitan is very thorough and makes sure he has the crews that are able to to do quality jobs. It will probably be quite a while before we do any more major work, but if we needed to, we'd definitely be in touch.

Right from the start I was impressed with the attention to detail that they gave the project PRIOR to building the estimate. I knew right away that they were thorough and appreciated that; especially compared to other companies that I got estimates from who didn’t even visit the project site. Our project was special in that it was for an American Navy Veteran and required specialized care. They worked with us with excellent communication and respect. They did great quality work and did it extremely efficiently, which is appreciated when you are trying to live without a kitchen.

We were looking to remodel our home and Eitan was the patient and diligent project manager we needed. He offered valuable insights on redesigning our space and opening up kitchen. He and his crew did a thorough job on a wide range of tasks from roof and window replacement to new flooring and was responsive to changes in the project.
