Everything about this family run business is good. Estimate, measuring, scheduling, installation, and follow up. Did I say price? One half of a well known supplier's bid for comparable quality. Actually without the very reasonable price, we couldn't have afforded to have the work done, and we helped Brothers not to have to lay off their long time employees. A real win-win. The windows are beautiful, and we have already had some really hot days, and stayed cool in the house. During the record heat wave, we ran our A/C for about an hour each day late in the afternoon. In past year it would have been 6 or 7 hours. We also qualify for the $1,500 tax credit for our 2009 Federal income taxes.

When they completed the installation it was as if these windows had always been there. They were on time, completed the installation within the time they said, and cleaned up after the installation.

The services were amazing, quick, and professional and the place looks beautiful. I liked them so much i had requested their services on my other property in Los Angeles. The company is very professional, very nice customer service, and is willing to work with you until you are 100% satisfied. One of the best experiences I?ve had in a while. They are punctual and professional, and it is very easy to communicate what your needs are and what you are looking for. They really follow through and are with you every step of the way. They sent out the measurer, who talks to you about your needs. They had to do a lot of hard work to get one of the huge windows in, because my house is settled in and the window frame is not square. The window looks wonderful and functions terrifically. They did excellent work and I wouldn t go to anybody else but them.

Six months I had them replace 1/2 the house and I am getting ready to have them do the other half of the house. I have been very pleased.

I couldn't speak highly enough for them. They showed up on time and did what they said they would do. The office staff and installation staff were great. Their prices are reasonable.

The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We had an in home estimate from Tom Vaughan who was fairly good; he was not as knowledgeable about the products/process as some from other companies (he isn't an installer himself), but nice. He treated me with respect (as a woman you don't always get that!). The estimate from Brother's Home Improvement was better than others. And Tom was patient while we weighed all the options. When it came time for installation, we ran into a few problems. In general, the workers were professional. But, they did not call within the 6 week time period given after we ordered the windows. When I called, they still did not have the doors ready and assured us they would have them in a week. We made the installation appointment and they showed up without the doors! They failed to tell us this until they were at our front door with the windows. This meant we had to make an additional appointment for the doors to be installed. As for the windows, they installed all 12 in one day and cleaned up fairly well. They did a great job dealing with aligning three of the windows (the house is old and the middle window did not line up with the others; the installers figured out how to align them properly). They could have done a better job cleaning the windows before they left. Also, one of the screens was broken upon inspection, but they replaced it when they returned to install the doors. As for the doors, when they did arrive, one of them had the wrong glass in. Needless to say we were very annoyed. In the end, they apologized profusely and gave us a discount on the final bill. The owner himself called to apologize.

Roch Miller was the salesperson, and he is excellent. He is not pushy. He was confident in his educational-style sales approach so that when I asked to shop around for other competitors, he knew that I'd be back. I went to other companies, and they all have fake pricing. They quote a huge number (i.e. $12,000), but they will offer 25% off. Yeah, great. But that price is still lower than Brothers' price. Brothers gives you the straight price. Take it or leave it. The quality of the windows are better. The lifetime replacement guarantee is a deal clincher. Then, when the measuring people and actual workers came, they did the work in 5 hours (even though they said it may take 1-2 days. Under-promise and over-deliver. I've referred them to two of my friends, who went through Roch. In my well-researched opinion, they are the best in the South Bay. I have no reservations on this recommendation. A+.

This company is very courteous and the initial contact was very good. There was one window that they had to return two times because it was not right. But things turned out very well and I am satisfied.

We spoke with them at a couple different home shows and we finally decided to use them. They came to my house and they were very professional. The people were very wonderful. It was a family owned service and the guy that came out was very professional and he told us what would happen. It was a very good experience. When they were done they cleaned up and there was no mess.

From Bart, who did the estimate, to the 2 great guys who did the installation, everything went incredibly well. One of the windows was so large it had to be commercially built, and was initially made the wrong size (not Brother's fault). They got me a new one before Thanksgiving, which was really important to me. The windows all look great, and they are much nicer than my other vinyl windows. They also cost me $2k less than the other quote that I got. I will definitely use them if I replace any other windows! They were wonderful.

Brother's did a fantastic job replacing our aluminum frame windows. We looked at various offers and Brother's seemed to have the best offering and value for money. They made very good recommendations and they made the job look incredibly easy. Everything they did was top notch and the result still looks great over a year after they put the windows in. Their work was flawless and everything was done with amazing accuracy. Could not have asked for a better job.

It was a good experience. The worker who came out was great. He spent a lot of time with us explaining the different aspects of windows and was extremely informative. He also had models of everything that he was describing. The only reason we didn't go with them is that they only provide vinyl windows, and we just decided we wanted something else. However their quote was by far the lowest of all of the companies we looked at.

Entire process was very smooth and hassle free right from quotes to installation and later services. Everyone involved in the work process were very professional and punctual. I found some minor issues after installation and they took care of these problems very promptly.

Sales person was very professional. He compared the alternatives and provided information to make comparison between the various options. Brothers product is very good quality and a reasonable price. It isn't the cheapest nor the most expensive. After accepting the quote the windows were manufactured. Yes, they make their own windows. This process took slightly longer than they told us. Approximately 1 week delay here so plan accordingly. We scheduled the installation but had to reschedule because of conflicts. The person doing the scheduling didn't make this as easy as I would have liked. You leave a message proposing 2 days and you get a message back saying "OK we can cancel the install and reschedule when is good". SO, you have to make an extra phone call or two in getting this straight. The installers showed up exactly on schedule. They worked steady and were very careful. They didn't make a big mess and contained the glass from removing the old windows. We found termite damage under the picture window. They don't do termite repair but offered to come back and complete that window after the repairs were done. Ultimately, since it was old damage and no current termites, I decided to do the termite work myself while they completed the other windows. I took the wall apart, replaced some studs and other damage then closed the wall. By this time they were caulking the other exterior windows so I did a quick tape job to complete the drywall. By the time the mud was dry to the touch they had assembled the window casing and they were ready to complete installation of the picture window. This finished the job and it looks fantastic. The new windows made the house noticeably warmer and quieter. They were very accommodating and worked around me and the mess I made fixing the wall. They even cleaned up the old rotted wood and hauled it away. They worked a long day to get my windows done in one day. Their service & professionalism was great and I would definitely recommend them. They are a great value when you consider price, product, quality, and professionalism.

My experience with them was excellent. They worked quickly. The employee's were easy to work with. There was one problem but they came out and fixed it. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

They were here when they said they would be, and they took care of my property. I had a problem with one of the frosted windows I chose because the panes didn't match and they switched them out for me. They were willing to work with me on any problems that I had, and got the work done in a timely manner. They even gave me a lifetime guarantee on the windows. They were well priced and the windows look great.

They were prompt for all appointments, and have done everything they promised, and more. Everyone representing the company has been excellent. When I needed a few items checked out after the installation was finished, they were extremely responsive, unlike many contractors who stall or ignore you once the job is finished. Brothers Windows installed their own windows, which they back with a true Lifetime Warranty, as opposed to another manufacturer's windows. The installation crew was polite, prompt, neat, pleasant, careful, and answered all my questions/concerns during the installation. I would recommend this company without hesitation! We suffered too long with the old single-pane aluminum windows and we're thrilled with the new double-pane ones. Even my teenagers notice how wonderful they are; that's saying something! In comparison, the other window company I consulted tried to discourage me from replacing my existing garden window with a new one, and didn't seem very interested in helping me solve some challenges surrounding that particular window. Brothers Windows felt strongly they could address all my concerns, and was enthusiastic about the project. I think their costs were reasonable, although the estimator forgot a critical component, which added $500 to the job. Windows/doors is not something I want to buy on price. I encourage other homeowners to give Brothers a call. I think they are exceptionally tuned to customer service from beginning to end. And they answer their phones with a live person! Can't beat that!!

They were very prompt. They did what they said they were going to do. We were every pleased with the door. We were able to pick out the door we wanted. They were also very helpful in finding a practical door.

Tony came to the house to give us an estimate and spent a lot of time going over their product, which was helpful since we knew very little. We had 3 companies come out and quote this work and all 3 were very nice and professional, but we felt that this was the quote that fit our needs best. Tony followed up via phone regularly to see if we had any questions. Once we made our decision, Greg came by to measure everything again, which was good because we had made a few changes to the original estimate. We then had to wait about 4 weeks for the windows (and door) to be made. Installation was done within 1 day by a team of 2 who worked hard and fast. When they left they took all the old windows with them and left the area very clean. We're very happy with the quality of their work and their product.

My experience went pretty well. I remember not having to do a whole lot because they came out and looked at the windows, and did the work for exactly what they had said. It was excellent overall.
