Description of Work: The design was perfect. The job was completed by the deadline. But the sprinkler system malfunctioned and many plants died. They came back out to fix but did not replace the plants. I have asked several times for the original receipts for the plants and they have not given them to me yet.

Description of Work: I had Botany of Design with their Sprouts program create garden designs for both my tiny back patio area and the small front yard. I felt hopeless about ever having living plant life in my puny pitiful back patio area that was mostly busted, cracked concrete with weeds poking out. Lisa and Alison were able to come up with a beautiful secret garden concept that included tropical/sub-tropical plants within a very functional hard scape design. For the front yard a southern exposure broiled by the sun most of the year I wanted California natives and Mediterranean plants that would be drought-tolerant and not rely on an extreme watering regime to look good. Again, the gals at Botany of Design were creative, providing ideas for the front yard that met my objectives and would provide real curbside appeal. Their work included professional landscape plans with a key to all plants required for the plan, as well as an extensive list of contractors and suppliers in the area.

Description of Work: Ms. Charpontier and her associate conducted a site analysis to see our existing garden conditions (which were not good). Everything was overgrown. They completed a layout for what they would be designing within the given space. They were very patient in discussing my wants and desires and also pointed out all the possibilities with their images of a successful garden space. I wasn't sure what I wanted exactly, but they helped me to decide on a complimentary style to suit my personality, such as lifestyle, our home architecture and of course tastes. They sketched several options on accomplishing this and came up with a final draft of a planting plan. They also offered assistance in referrals to contractors for garden elements: benches, fountains, types of rock or stone.
