DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT use this company!!!! They will lie and scam you 100% of the time. They rope you in with a low quote. We told them exactly what we had and all of our furniture was in boxes not even built. And we only had 25 medium boxes. And the day before pick up the quote jumped 1000$ and we had no choice at that point but to use them because we were leaving for a cross country move. They said when we booked originally that it would be fast and likely arrive by 8-15 and they picked up on 8-3. Then once they had it all they told us that the latest date for delivery would be 9-3. Well today is 9-3 and still no communication form the truck driver… Called in and they said there were “technical issues” with the truck. Our new window is 9-8 through 9-16 with not real apologies just 30$ off a day that it is late. There is no way I would ever suggest this company. They basically force you to post a 5 star review after pick up. That is why this company is rated so highly! Do not be scammed by them!!! Rent a U-Haul and drive it yourself! Not worth the money at all they will lie and trick you. They also have a contract you don’t see until the day they pick up stating that you are liable for every thing including their legal fees if you want to sue them. When the driver showed up he refused to double park his truck and forced us into a “shuttle fee” which was just him renting a U-Haul that he then double parked. He also charged us 300 for a long haul fee for every single foot he had to move out things from the curb to the apartment. They also promised 3 movers and only sent one! Which meant me and my partner had to gaurd the truck and elevator so our things were not stolen off the street in Oakland California! It was extremely unsafe and we had no choice it was that or we leave out things unattended in the streets of Oakland! Extremely unprofessional! When all was said and done our original 3500$ quote ended up costing us around 5,300$ and the driver tried to charge us even more luckily I called and got an emailed list of out balance! Our move was extremely small too it all fit in a 15” U-Haul with a lot of room would have been fine in a 10” truck! If I could give 0 stars I would. I repeat do not use this company!!! This is a scam and the drivers are in on it!

Where do I even begin. If you don’t have time to read this entire post, read this- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR MOVING!!! I’m sad to say that I’ve done a lot of research about moving companies and tried to avoid falling into their “traps” but this company found every way possible to make the already stressful process of moving even worst. We had sent them photos of our furniture prior to moving, to make sure they won’t change the price on us (which seems to be a trick moving companies do!) However, on the day they showed up to pick up our furniture, they claimed there is “not enough square feet claimed on the order” for our furniture. I explained we sent photos and measurements ahead of time? but the guy on site said the salesperson on the phone didn’t add enough space (not my problem as the customer!!) but a way for them to try and extort more money- Our quote went from $4k to over $7k... somehow. $3000 difference! We were told they would bring all the packing materials, at no extra charge, all the sudden they said they need to pack our TV and certain furniture and it will be additional $75 a piece!!! I asked why this was not communicated before? since we sent pictures, but of course they had no good answer (bait and switch tactic at its finest). Dishonestly and lack of transparency. After hours of arguing on the phone with their office, being hung up by their rude staff (Robert), we finally told them to kindly leave and that we were going to order a pod. We were not willing to all the sudden add extra $3k when they knew exactly what we had ahead of time. On their way out - their boss called and said he will “honor the original price”. Ghee thanks! After SO MUCH ARGUING and hours wasted at that point. They originally said delivery normally would take 5-7 days to arrive. Turns out- it’s 21 days from the date you’re available to accept the furniture. This was not communicated to us- they made it sound like 21 days is a rare situation- we ended up being without our stuff for 20 business days. Terrible, misleading communication on their end. AFTER 20 DAYS, when they finally were willing to deliver our stuff- They sent only one person (to deliver a 3 bedroom house)!!! and an older gentleman who was the driver. It was like watching your grandpa carrying heavy furniture, truly sad, didn’t make sense and shouldn’t have happened. Another example of their lack of professionalism, and absurdity. Furthermore, they showed up to our residential neighborhood with a huge SEMI!!! We have a regular size street, and a very big and wide yard and driveway, however they blamed our street and our driveway and said they now have to charge us extra because their truck (a SEMITRAILER!!!) can’t make the turn into our driveway!!! Another way to extort money!! Who in their right mind with best intentions tries to deliver with a semitrailer to a residential neighborhood!!!?!?! They lacked the ability to deliver, because they were too cheap to get the actual truck needed to make deliveries - and they blame it on the customer. Such absurdity. All so that they could extort more money!! Thy claimed they now have to rent a truck - but they can’t find a truck - so I called Uhaul myself and reserved one- but then their boss was able to reserve one.. such a mess!!!!! Inconceivable. The delivery guy tried convincing me that if I give him $200 he will carry all the stuff from the street up our driveway.. but his price kept changing.. it was like a HOSTAGE SITUATION negotiating the delivery of our furniture after we already paid good money for it. They ended up going to a local Uhaul to rent a truck that they can move all our stuff into and drive into the driveway.... talking about frustration and inefficiency... they tried lying and telling us the Uhaul will cost $250, then $300, when I called Uhaul it was only $75... lying thieves. Furthermore, the delivery guy and older driver were hungry!! They were asking me for food!!! I felt so bad for them, clearly this company wasn’t treating them well. It was sad. The service we paid for initially said they are suppose to deliver the furniture to the designated rooms, put them back together if it was taken apart, and take out any packing trash left behind. It was already late and the guy by himself was miserable and clearly couldn’t have gotten it all done by himself till midnight! so we told him to leave. We were now stuck with carrying it out ourselves and cleaning all the boxes and packing trash left behind.. MOST OF OUR FURNITURE WAS BROKEN!!!! Their moving blankets stained our white headboard, they BROKE BOTH bedroom nightstands, CRACKED our end table, cracked an end table, COMPLETELY BROKE our wardrobe, damaged our bench, and more.. THE WHOLE PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH WAS A NIGHTMARE!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY!!! We are so disheartened that we paid $7,000 for broken furniture that we now have to replace (and waited 20 days for!!!). The stress they caused us alone isn’t worth it. VERY DISAPPOINTING. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE.

Unfortunately, we have to say that it was very negative. The relocation specialist, named Ahmad, did an extensive, detailed walk through on Zoom. He wrongly assessed and wrongly quoted our move. On the day of the move, they informed us that they will be adding close to $2000 to our original quote. The foreman's name was Rodrigo. We experienced Rodrigo as rude, condescending and unprepared for the extra special packaging we paid extra for entrusting them even more as they are the moving professionals. We were told the floor will be protected with runners by dispatch. But Rodrigo arrogantly told us those were only for "his White Glove Clients". When I asked if he was going to wrap my bicycle, he told me "they only wrapped expensive bikes". Upon receiving our belongings in our new home, 80% of the furniture they wrapped was either damaged, broken, in pieces, or irreparable. We were horrified. We paid extra for our piano to be handled by them and upon delivery it could not be moved in because the two movers they sent could not handle the weight of it. We were promised by BLVD we would hear from another mover within a few days and never heard from anyone so therefore, we had to hire an extra service to come out and move the piano into the house. They did pay for this extra service so we will give them that, but we asked for this to occur, it was not offered to us. We are now in the process of putting in a claim. We would like people to know about our experience with BLVD Moving so you can make the best decision for yourselves. We are saddened to have to share this experience for we were handled unprofessionally on top of our belongings having suffered. Maybe since this move, they have worked on their abilities and promises to deliver.

The packers and movers were great at what they did BUT the people in the office from estimator to customer service were not helpful, did not do a good job communicating and ended up increasing the costs of the move by almost 100% - but only after they had me so far into the process (half packed up) that I couldn't get out or explore any alternatives. All the disclosures are in the small print, however, I was actually told by the estimator not to worry that they would not be incurred in my case. BUT they were! They walked the house with me and then did not include an entire room in the estimate (which I should have caught but did not and they did not confirm or even at the outset of packing have the paperwork available to discuss that one entire room was not included in the estimate! At any rate, by the time we discussed with paperwork in hand - I was almost fully packed. So what choice did I have but to pay the extra with them telling me they were doing me a big favor and could be charging me more! The price went up from $4600 to $7500 and would have been more but we took steps to insure that there were not steps, long hauls at drop off and that their Semi could drive up to the facility!! We did have to get a new facility!! I am not sure how one room in a 900 Sq ft. two bedroom apartment could increase the cost by that much - it seems to me that the entire move was underestimated!
