I contacted Blues Bro back in late 2020 and then we went over some things. In the mean time I contacted other agencies as well trying to see where I get the most value for my money, it was here. I locked in the contract, to the person getting work done please go back and forth and negotiate. I hired them so that I would not have to deal with contractors for my adu.. I was happy on my results and how my project turned out to be. I gave my own rough blueprints to Blues Bros which helped a lot. Project mgn was Sussan and cordinators changed but Renne was very, very helpful. Payments were done in installs of each step the project goes through.. they have an app it tells you when the payment will be done. I bought most of my own stuff, even though they have inventory inhouse. I would recommend to future client, negotiate, read the contract and be upfront with budget and leave a little buffer. Have communication with both contractors and Blues Bros. Be on top of things right away from the first second. Get the number of the contractors and there boss and ask for weekly of daily status of work. If something is off have chat with both Blues and Contractors right away. Everyone has the same end goal, which is to finish the job so stay on top of it.

Excellent job done by Blues Bros. Batel was our project manager and she was very helpful and courteous. Gabriel and Jesus did the majority of the labor and their work is meticulous and they are a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Blues Brothers Construction helped me remodel my bathroom. They did a professional job and their team was a pleasure to work with . Alexandra served as point of contact and general project manager and she was courteous , profesional , knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the process. I always felt like the project was in good hands throughout. The final result was a great -looking bathroom that I love . I had a great experience with BBC , we never had communication issues and questions were always answered in a timely manner . I am very satisfied with the entire project and I will definitely be using them for my future project. I highly recommend them !

Mika was our project manager and she helped us navigate the process of designing and brainstorming the kitchen and told us what was in our power to do (the kitchen is a small space). As far as quality is concerned, the contractors that Mika worked in coordination with were friendly (the Farcon crew) and kept things pretty clean throughout. I'd recommend them for a kitchen project for sure. We went from drab 1950s counters and plain wall and linoleum to fabulous quartz countertop and Heath tile and modern hybrid flooring.

They go above and beyond

I hired Onn and Blues Brothers Construction bc he seemed approachable, thorough, and detail-oriented. My husband and I had just bought our first house and it needed electrical, plumbing, and foundation work. we decided to also renovate a bathroom, and planned to convert our garage to an ADU once the first set of work was complete. Unfortunately as soon as we signed a contract Onn went MIA, and all communication was through Renee, the office manager. I rarely was able to talk directly with anyone who actually knew the project or the work being done. It often took a week or longer to get answers to my questions, if they were acknowledged at all. Onn said he would fix my foundation issue, then took 3 months to get me a quote which was 10x what a competitor quoted, and then he finally told me he didn't want to do the work anyway and I should find someone else. I paid him to make up blueprints for the ADU conversion. They were supposed to be finished in 5-6 weeks, but 3 months later I couldn't get answers about progress. I finally told Onn to forget the blueprints and asked for a refund, He verbally agreed on the phone. Several mistakes were made that caused delays, including not properly flashing the plumbing vent pipes on the roof which left holes for water to come in and resulted in a huge mold issue inside the walls. Over the next 4 weeks I was told 4 times that the mold was taken care of, only to find more mold in the walls. I finally hired an outside mold remediation expert who followed actual protocol (sealed the area, brought in a dehumidifier, etc) and took care of everything in 5 days. Much of the finish work was sloppy or steps skipped (the EV charger they installed wasn't plugged into the electrical panel when we tried to use it). Once our project finished, it took another 3 months to settle final payment and paperwork bc Onn kept agreeing to terms then arguing back about them, and tried to get us to 1. waive our warranties, and 2. sign a non-disparagement clause (so we wouldn't be allowed to leave a bad review). Longer review with more detail is on Yelp. Needless to say, we opted not to do the ADU conversion with Blues Brothers and found a different contractor for that project.

Mika Aloni and the Blues Brothers Construction team are amazing! Mika Aloni was the Project Manager for the remodel of my kitchen and bathroom and she did a great job. The rooms look brand new and I'm thrilled with the work. I highly recommend Mika Aloni and Blues Brothers Construction for your remodel projects.

After many years and driven by spending so much time at home due to the pandemic, I decided it was time for a complete remodel of my kitchen. I contacted several potential contractors and had them submit bids. Of the 5 contractors who responded, Mika Aloni was the most diligent and responsive. She was not only the person who came to my house to survey the kitchen and submit the bid, she was also the project manager. I must congratulate her on a job well done! I could not have been more pleased. She always had my back from the beginning through the end no matter what problem we encountered. She always came up with the right solution. I highly recommend her.

I was told the project would take 3 weeks max. It is taking more than twice that. It started at the end of October, and I still do not have a functioning bathroom as of the 2nd of December. A lot of the problem started because I ordered a bathtub that was too large. However, it was within the dimensions given to me by the contractors. Getting a new bathtub. Now it seems work is being done sporadically. The Tile floor was semi installed on Sunday, the main tiles were cemented down, but not the edging. And since then, I have not seen anyone. It is Wednesday. They installed the wiring for the light fixtures in the wrong place. I had to do the calculations to figure out where they were supposed to go, not my job, and it still has not been corrected.

Jenny from Blues Brothers Construction, supervised our bathroom demolition and remodel. From the moment the crew stepped foot in our house they were professional & courteous. Right away they took their shoes off and covered our floor where they would be tracking in and out. I found them to be completely trustworthy, knowledgeable, and I really appreciated Jenny's attention to detail. Blues Brothers responded right away when I initially called for a bid and got the project moving in a timely fashion. I'm thrilled with their service and the price was fair. I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

I cannot recommend Onn and his team enough! I purchased a home back in September that was built in 1980 and was in sore need of a facelift. His team did a complete gut of the place and turned it into my dream home in 6 weeks! Onn checked in with me every step of the way and made sure I was completely happy with everything. Thier attention to detail is amazing and their work is top notch. They were so patient with me when I was indecisive about cabinet colors and tile patterns. When I decided I wasn't completely in love with the lower gray cabinets I had originally chosen, they ripped them back out and reinstalled new ones. He even helped me avoid the restocking fee of the original cabinets! Blues Brothers' customer service is second to none. They do amazing work, it would be a mistake to hire with anyone else! Our shower had a leak and it was time to just update the whole situation. I never done any construction work before, and Blues Brothers did a good job outlining what the process entails and giving us a good price. They also had a showroom which really made the process much easier because we didn't have to go through so many vendors to choose our materials and fixtures. This team was very professional and I totally recommend if you need any remodeling job done well and quick.

I bought a house last spring and wanted to do some major remodeling around the house- flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, paint, upgrading fixturesâ ¦ This is my second home so I'm familiar with the typical nightmare-ish mishaps that can occur. Having said that, I was very careful to interview everyone before making a decision. Blues Brothers Construction spent 3 hours at our house going over all the details that we wanted done. I originally got referred to Blues Brothers through my neighbor down the street who redid her home, she spoke highly of them and showed me her house and I was glad to hear they did a quality job from start to finish. I got the same service from them, staying within our budget, sticking to the timeline, and completing the job with minimal hassle to my family and I. Communication throughout the process was easy, they were always avaialble to take our calls and assist with our questions. I highly recomment these guys.

I'm so glad I worked with Blues Brothers to update my kitchen. I spoke with so many contractors just to be sure and safe but Onn stood out to me of being most organized and good quality package. The process was as good as I could imagine- we had a mini kitchen set up so that we could still live and eat out of the house, everything was sealed off nicely to reduce the mess, and the porject was completed realively quick...I already recommended to a few friends who are looking to remodel thier home. I enjoyed using Blues Brothers for my kitchen remodel. They gave me great ideas and designs for the layout to really maximize the open space concept that I was looking for. Love the new island, countertop is beautiful, tile work was done right. Every guest I have over always compliment our new layout and kitchen. We converted our garage into an in-law unit. We are very happy with the results from Blues Brothers Construction. Onn is the bomb! We used home advisor and yelp to shop for contractors. On the first consultation meeting, Onn spent over two hours going over the site, explaining everything, going over all the details, answering all of our questions, and we felt like we trusted his company. Throughout the process, the team was very clean, professional, and transparent. The city permit part took some time, but this was not the fault of the construction company, just frustrating... But at the end, we got a quality build out that my family is very happy with.

I used Blues Brothers Construction for my kitchen remodel. I wanted new dark cabinets and a open window to connect to the rest of the house. Blues Brothers offered me a good price compared to the other companies but it also seemed like the right feel to go with them based on Onn's personality and professionalism. I had a great experience with Blues Brothers Construction. I did a full gut and remodel to my kitchen- so consulted with a few companies. I got a good impression after meeting with Onn because he provided me 3D designs based on the look I described. We worked back and forth to finalize the design before scheduling the project. His team kept everything neat and clean, which was super important to me, especially have 3 little ones running around the house. I had great communication throughout the process and they were quick to respond to everything that I needed or had concerns about. Overall I am extremely happy with the outcome, my new kitchen and experience with Blues Brothers Construction.

It's my pleasure to give a five star rating to Blues Brothers Construction. I wanted to do a full bathroom and kitchen remodel my home to give it a proper face lift from the old dark and outdated condition that it was in. A buddy of mine recommended Blues Brothers to me after they finished his entire home remodel in Sunnyvale. I explored a few other companies as well just to get a more wider understanding of prices and quality of work that was out there. After the consultation meetings, I decided to go with Blues Brothers Construction because they actually quoted me a fair price and seemed on top of their game. Onn worked with me on my design and addressed all the possible concerns and outcomes before we started the project. This way, we were aware of the obstacles to come before any walls were taken down. My wife and I stayed at the home throughout the construction process. The team did a good job blocking things off and we were still able to use my other bathroom and made a mini kitchen in the house while they worked on it. It was a big project so it took a few months, but the team was able to get things done on schedule and overall I am extremely happy with the quality and outcome of the work. I ordered most my materials and fixtures directly through them, so that also took out a lot of work and streamlined the timing of the whole process better. Thank you for your hard work.
