Sahar at Black Diamond was a real find for us! In a little over 3 weeks, she and her crew transformed our drab, worn out and outdated patio into a gorgeous space reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. The carefully selected pavers and retaining walls have given a new beauty to our outdoor living area. The real charm of the area is seen at night with addition of the carefully designed lighting, giving it a bit of a calm Zen feeling. Sahar brings an infectious, confident energy and exceptional design aesthetic to her work. We loved her ideas and recommendations and the ease of working with her throughout the project. She is very hands-on with the subcontractors and effectively managed all aspects of the work—including necessary design changes that arose as the project progressed. She was effective in managing costs so that the project stayed within budget. Based on our experience, we look forward to working with Sahar again and highly recommend for landscape design and implementation.

Our backyard project is better than I expected. Thanks in part to Black Diamond. I contacted several other companies prior and knew right away from meeting Rocco I wanted them. From the first meeting to the last day Rocco kept in contact with us. We had a rough plan for our project, and I thought we'd need several companies to complete it. But they handled all aspects, including pavers, irrigation, lawn, and lighting. Rocco had great suggestions throughout the project and really listened to what I wanted the finished product to provide and look like. He's very professional and just a really nice person, even taking one of my calls while on a family trip. The workers were all respectful of our property and maintained a clean space throughout the 3 week project. Rocco was able to coordinate with 2 other work crews on our property and met with them both at our request. Black Diamond offers a great warranty on their work and we felt the price was in line with the quality. I am very happy with my beautiful new backyard. And I am so pleased I chose Black Diamond and that Rocco was our project manager.

We first heard of Black Diamond from receiving fliers in our mailbox. When we finally made the decision to renovate our backyard, we contacted them for a consult and from our very first meeting with Jeremy Ousset, we were convinced that he was the one that was going to bring our vision to life. We had a very rough sketch of what we wanted, and Jeremy was able to incorporate it into a beautiful design. We were unsure of which specific styles and colors, but Jeremy met with us several times at multiple locations and brought materials to our home so we could see them first hand before we made a decision. Once the work began, Jeremy frequently visited our home to ensure the materials and the work being done was correct and on schedule. In some cases, it wasnâ t, and he was quick to resolve the issues so there would not be a delay in the project. The team was great about keeping the mess to a minimum and securing the space to ensure individuals that werenâ t supposed to be on our property werenâ t able to enter. The team was also mindful of our family, and always coordinated â loudâ times with us to avoid disruptions in our schedules. There were several occasions when we discovered additional work needed to be done, but it was outside of Black Diamondâ s scope. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and was able to refer other vendors to us, who were also great! A few months after completion, we noticed some of the pavers settled and we needed touch up to fill up some of the gaps. The team came back soon after we notified them to assess and brought the materials over that was needed for the touch up. We are very happy with the results and the continued service we receive. We host gatherings in our new backyard often and have received many compliments. We hope to be able to remodel our front yard in the future and plan to use Black Diamond again.

Rocco did a fantastic job in planning, managing, and monitoring our backyard project! He went above and beyond during the project by getting his hands dirty, moving 100 lb. stepping stones, changing out chipped pavers and making adjustments as the project progressed. He explained the entire process in detail prior to the job, and his communication during the transformation left us no surprises. A+! The crew, led by foreman Jose, also did a great job! When Jose had to step away to check on other projects, Jorge (crew manager) stepped up and also went above and beyond, paying close attention to the details, adding suggestions to improve our drainage challenges on our property. Some of the large stepping stones received some scratches during the install, but I'm hopeful that by adding a satin sealant, that the scratches will disappear. We are happy with the outcome, and we are already enjoying more backyard outdoor time!

Ron from Diamondback Landscaping helped me design and plan the remove the front and backyard of all the grass, trees, bushes, brick and cement. Also eliminate an in ground jacuzzi and replace everything with artificial grass raised garden backyard patio and pavement stones with a fire pit area the project turned out better than I had expected, Ron would show up every day make sure would run smoothly and assist in any changes that I we would need, I appreciate the ease that it was to work with diamondback landscaping, Ron Geronimo is highly professional, friendly and considerate, I would recommend him for anyone looking for beautiful landscaping needs.

Sahar Dabirian is absolutely amazing! When I booked the consultation to figure out what to do with my sloped backyard, all I said to her was 1 sentence and she, right away, knew exactly what to do (building a retaining wall/ paver patio) along with all the materials I'd want. Afterwards, I looked all over and kept coming back to what she recommended â  truly amazing! Throughout the project, she went above and beyond with her keen eye, care & thoroughness. Additionally, her extensive and impressive education in agriculture and horticulture shines through. Upon a first look at my property, she knew all about the trees and plants on premise and told me all the do's & don'ts and how to improve them if so inclined! I couldn't have had hired a better person! =)

I highly recommend Black Diamond Paver Landscape! Black Diamond just finished installing pavers in my patio. The work is done beautifully and professionally. I was told it would take three weeks, but it was completed in one week as everything went very smoothly! There was no hidden fees, no surprises, no conflicts. The price was very reasonable. I have worked with Elton Pang from Black Diamond. I can't speak more highly of Elton. He is very prompt. He answered our calls and messages even in evening or weekends right away. He is super patient and accommodating. I have changed the design four times throughout the project and I have never heard any one "No". He is professional and knowledgeable. He controlled every steps of the work and shared the progress with us every day. His plan drawing was accurate and detailed, which helped me to go through the HOA review without any issue. He is local and experienced. He understands environments in this area as well as city regulations. Elton brought a team led by Ruben. We are very satisfied by the work done by his team. His team is very detail oriented. They care every small parts of the work such as wiring lines and shaping pavers, which raises the level of perfection of their work! They were always on time and friendly. Black Diamond provides warranty for 27 years. I had a very serious drain problem in my patio. The warranty definitely gave me a relief that Elton and his team will address the issue if I face a drain problem again. I am excitedly waiting for the rainy season this year. I will come back to leave another review after the season. I have already recommended Elton to my friends and neighbors. I will definitely find him again if I have any more landscaping work to do.

The scope of our property remodel was larger than we could manage. We considered doing some of the work ourselves and bidding out the more complex sections. We interviewed several companies and selected Black Diamond to complete the entire remodel. The yard around our home is comprised of a front yard 45 ft wide by 25 ft deep, two side yard strips 2-6 feet wide by 60 feet deep and 8 smaller rectangular spaces in the front and back yard. After 19 years these areas had become overgrown requiring a complete clearing and total rebuild. The goal was to beautify the area and reduce its maintenance. We chose to convert the front yard into a small park with artificial turf interspersed around the trees. The side strips received new plants with river rock as the base. The smaller spaces had numerous pots to be repotted with plants appropriate for the sun or shade as each area dictated. The watering system was completely rebuilt to automatically and independently water each area. David Kingsbury was project manager and Max Riveira was the crew manager (these two men were a pleasure to interface with). Jose supervised different crews through each phase of the project. Wet Weather created some delays but the crews worked through much of it The scope of work for the park area included clearing all overgrowth and debris , replacing the old sprinkler systems, regrading, surfacing-contouring and laying the artificial turf. The side strips were cleared, new watering system installed and replanted, rodent screens and new rock added to finish. This was a major project and we are so pleased with the results. We highly recommend the company and the personnel that made this possible. A special thanks to David and Max for going above and beyond our expectations.

We decided to get the entire outside of our property demo'd and redone (i.e. front and back yards, driveway, side paths, etc.) and were initially working with a different project manager but having some issues. Then Rocco was assigned to us and what a difference. First of all he quickly understood the project and issues we were having, and promptly resolved all of them. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and questions we had, and then made great recommendations based on his experience. He managed the crew and process really well, and made sure everything went smoothly until the project was completed. We quickly became comfortable and confident with Rocco as he is experienced, has excellent ideas, and is transparent with the process and how it all works - not to mention really patient, helpful and friendly, all of which made such a difference. Great job by Black Diamond, our landscaper Sahar, and the whole team. We'd already done our backyard using Black Diamond last December and were very very happy. So we called on Sahar and team again to do our carport, front driveway, and front walk. It wasn't a large project for them, but they were very responsive and cared about it even with the smaller size. It was super straightforward to talk through the project, drainage concerns, cost options, and get to an agreed scope and price. Then the project itself was delivered VERY efficiently by the team. While on site the whole team was professional and easy to communicate with. If I had more landscaping work I would not hesitate to use Black Diamond again. Oh - the home office was also easy to deal with. We had a small snafu on payment but they corrected it literally the same day I raised it. i was very happy.

I highly recommend Black Diamond Paver and Stones Landscape. They designed my front porch, walk way, and drive way earlier this year in Jan. Currently I am re-doing the stucco on the exterior of my home. A top layer a stoop that one of their project managers Rocco designed need to be removed so I could complete the painting in that area. I called Rocco requesting to move on a Friday, Monday he was at my property, the following week the top layer of the stoop was removed, once the painting is completed he is sending someone out to replace it so that it looks like the original job. Their execution was quick and efficient. They are reliable, and very professional. They've exceeded my expectations even more so now that I've had to call them back out to modify work they completed 10 months ago.

We love the way our project turned out! The pavers and design we had put together with Rocco completely changed the look! He did a great job and kept us updated throughout the project. The crew was so hard working and worked very efficiently. Thank you for a great end result! We love it.
