Better Water Heaters

He went to his truck and removed the part from a new water heater he had in there. We thought the part would be covered under the warranty. He came out the next day, we did not have hot water.

The person providing the service was punctual and did a very capable job. He was very knowledgeable and professional and pleasant to interact with. I will use them again.

The manufacturer sent me the part because it was under warranty but I needed someone to replace it. There was some initial confusion about when they could come out but in the end they found a way to come out on the day I had wanted them to. I am very happy with the fact that they went out of their way to get my job done. Very reasonable price too. Worked with Steve to schedule and Peter did the install. I highly recommend them and will use them again. We have a water heater that has a problem with the pilot assembly going out every few years so I know I'll be seeing them again. This was for labor only since we already had the replacement part.

Removed old unit and took for disposal. Installed new BW water heater, new connections, tie-downs, proper drain pan and overflow; made sure all functions ok. Owner easy to work with scheduling; dispatched a very pleasant and experienced installer.

Service tech was prompt, courteous, efficient, and took time to answer my questions.

Our water heater started leaking and we called several companies, Better Water Heaters called me right back and explained the process, pricing and could come out the following morning. Their service technician was prompt, polite, professional and helpful. They only sell high quality water heaters so their is a cost associated with that but they made the process easy, quick and painless. Thanks to them we were up and running, okay we had all the hot water we could use again, in short order. I would use them again.

Great. The tech Steve seemed very knowledgeable about options for going tankless, including good ideas as to how to route vent and drainage lines that would avoid issues with my HOA and next door neighbors (zero lot line development). The actual maintenance of the existing tank went smoothly and quickly.

The guys who did the work were competent. But the man who removed the old water heater didn't bring towels or anything to protect our new hardwood floors from water or scratches. Completely unprofessional. The man who installed the new heater brought floor protection and did a nice job with the install. The only thing he got wrong, per the city inspector, was putting a foam cover on the hot water outlet pipe, which was too close to the hot flu (6 inches clearance required). I think we paid too much but the job is done, the tank is warranted for 12 years, and the inspector saw no other issues.

Bid proposal listed two different tankless models as well as a tank water heater option, and estimator gave good explanations for all selections. Estimator came back and did the installation, and did what he said he was going to do. Installation was uneventful (no suprises - but pretty simple to start with). Added quarter turn shutoff valve (extra charge) that I requested. Provided simple and clear instructions on using a tankless heater. Had to return several days later to take the old heater away, since did not fit in truck. Installation took less time than estimated. BWH was recommended by neighbor who was very pleased with the product and installation (more than 2 years ago). Home Depot bid was nearly double the price. Would recommend BWH because of value, no problem installation, excellent product recommendation. Will review BWH in one year when they are scheduled to come out to do the first maintenance flushing.

Replaced same day and removed old one. Worked with my insurance so we could get part of the cost reimbursed.

I called around and was referred to Better Water Heaters, as the original company I called was short-handed and overscheduled due to the weather. It was explained that Better Water Heaters was their "sister" company and they had a good relationship. I called them and left a message. They responded very quickly that they could come on Saturday morning. The service man, Mike, called 30 minutes before the time window started and was able to be there a little early. Mike was very friendly and I explained the problem. He said I was probably correct that the sediment had clogged everything and caused the thermostat et. al. to fail. He advised that he could try to get the parts and fix the problem, but may be just better to replace the water heater. I had already planned to go with replacing the water heater, so I was prepared. The price was about the average for this area for a water heater and installation. Mike replaced the water heater and flex lines as well as a new gas line that met the new standards/regulations, and added a drain pan. Mike is very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. He is also friendly and professional. The installation was completed in about an hour. He should me the basic operation and instructions before cleaning up. Now I have a new Bradford White, and so far everything has been great, lots of hot water and no more noises. So, we were without hot water for only 1 day. I would recommend them if you have a problem.

Went great. Everything done quickly, cleanly, and smoothly. Plumber was very intelligent and experienced. So glad I went with them.
