Great experience. Best pricing out of the three estimates we got. The team was punctual for both estimate and installation day. Thorough estimate, responsive to follow-up queries, also after installation. Installation was as explained. The team cleaned up afterwards. We love the new water heater. We'd use Better Water Heater again without hesitation.

He had a good price and installed the water heater well. However, we had no hot water after the installation, and it was difficult to have him come back out and resolve the issue for us.

This has to be the best service available. Our water heater was out on Friday night so I put in a desperate call to Lang s Mobile Home Services, a company we had talked to previously regarding the hot water heater. Since we are in a mobile home park, work is often done on the weekends when we use our local businesses. By Monday morning, we had not gotten a return call from this company so we looked around and my husband very fortunately, found Better Water Heaters. I wish we had not waited for Monday as they are on call 24/7 with NO additional charges for nights and weekends, and amazingly, they give same-day service. We had another estimate, which was higher, and the work could begin next day, depending on the purchase of a water heater, and would take all day. With Better Water Heaters, they had our heater in the truck, ready for installation if we chose it and work could begin immediately. We chose them for the job. Roger had arrived around 2:30, looked at our situation and gave us a very reasonable estimate which included a 6-year product warranty with 2-year labor warranty on a very good quality Bradford White 40-gallon tank which is said to be of superior quality. We accepted the estimate and Roger began work immediately. Our water heater is contained in a small closet in the wall at the back of the house. This closet had to be overhauled starting with removing and disposing of the old water heater, along with the old flooring and other ancient plywood supports in the closet. The floor was rebuilt, bracing added, insulation, a vent put in and other assorted repairs. Roger worked well passed 8 p.m., in the dark and in the rain to ensure we would have hot water that night. The vent had to be done the following morning as parts were needed. Next day, another man arrived on time, finished the vent and was done with the job. I cannot express how impressed I was with this company, each person I interacted with was professional, knowledgeable and personable. The work was more than A++ and we were very fortunate to have worked with them. We did not expect to have hot water for the better part of that week but with Better Water Heaters on the job, we had it on Monday, the same day, even though the work was not started until mid-afternoon. You cannot get better than this. They know what they are doing, they do it well and really care about doing a good job and being there for the customers. Do yourself a favor, if you need a water heater, call Better Water Heaters. Their name says it all!

I called Better Water Heater and was scheduled on same day installation. I waited a few hours because they were busy but Frans (owner) showed up instead. His quote seems to be fair compared to others whose charing me over $1000. It took him about 1 hour and half to complete the installation. Bradford White heaters is U.S. made with 6-years and 1 year labor warranty.

Excellent experience. Of the several companies I called, Frans was the best at listening to the problems associated with our unique location and situation. The representative arrived on time and was polite and professional. When he realized that there were limitations in tank size for our site, he took photos to illustrate his measurements. It was a difficult draining, removal and replacement, up and down stairs, but was performed very well indeed, with care taken to use drop cloths on the carpet. This company is also "Diamond Certified," meaning they went through a certification process for quality. The price was comparable to only one other bid out of five companies contacted. The others ranged from ridiculously high to they couldn't see how to do the job correctly.

Went very well. Called him at 8:00 a.m. Gave an estimate over the phone. Arrived on time. Explained options but didn't push anyone. By 1:00 p.m. I had a new hot water heater. He had done the same thing for a relative a few months ago and that went very well too and that is why I called him in addition to having some good reviews on Angie's List.

I set up an appointment with Better Water Heaters for Saturday, at 1pm. Vince, the representative, arrived a few minutes early. I showed him the existing water heater, located in the garage. He saw that that there are a couple of galvanized pipes that would leak in the near future if not replaced (that is the main reason I wanted to go ahead and get the water heater replaced). He gave me an estimate for the work. The work for the basic removal and re-installation of the water heater was $529. Each additional pipe and valve replacement would be added to the original cost. After all that was added in, in came to around $1100. The original estimate for the time to complete the installation was that it would take approximately two hours, but there were extra lengths of pipe to run. It ended up taking around 3-1/2 hours.
