Martin normally does good work, but he's been busy . Would be willing to try to use him again, but his work and response time did go down a notch.

We selected BBQ boys because they cook the food fresh at the picnic site (which is rarer than you might think) and because of their positive business/corporate reviews. We were under tremendous personal pressure to produce a successful event and we didn't want to fuss with the barbeque- which in my opinion- is the cornerstone of an outdoor picnic. We selected two of the most difficult food items to barbeque successfully- which are chicken and ribs. What can I say? BBQ boys is a fine-tuned, smooth running, well-oiled barbeque catering machine! And my people should know because we just happen to be mechanics, electronic technicians, maintenance workers, etc. They arrived with a 4 person team, and cooked the meat fresh at the site. Daniel was the Event Director and Chef. Ty and Jim manned the Barbeque, and Dana maintained the buffet table and kept people moving through the line, without confusion and fairly quickly (what a great people person Dana is, she kept them laughing and in good spirits.) People raved about the ribs which were tender and lean with just enough charcoal grilled fat to keep things honest. The mesquite chicken (we had a mix of light and dark meat) was smoked to perfection and was moist and tender. The one vegetarian (in our group) that I spoke to- enjoyed the veggie burger and beans. BBQ boys (Chris, the Event planner) worked with us to bring things within our budget. We did this by cutting some of the side dishes, and by providing our own beverages and desserts. BBQ Boys, however, provided watermelon (what is a barbeque without watermelon?) and all the necessary condiments, etc. We selected 3 side dishes, potato salad, tossed green salad, and vegetarian ranch beans. The feedback was good for all the side dishes. We provided our own dinner rolls, which nobody ate after tasting the BBQ boys dishes. Everybody was satisfied and happy. We had several VIPs (politicians) that attended our event, and they seemed to enjoy themselves and they seemed to linger longer than they normally would (which I think is a positive?) Thank you BBQ boys for being the professionals that you are and for helping us to produce a successful family event that we can all be proud of. I highly recommend the BBQ boys.
