Description of Work: Carlos, Mario, and the guys from Bay Easy remodeled our bathroom. They were communicative, professional, and thorough. And FAST! From demo to completion was two weeks, and a few of those days were less than a full day's work. Excellent job; we're very pleased. Would use them again in a heartbeat, and plan to when we redo our kitchen.

Description of Work: Overall it was a good experience because of the excellent work accomplished in remodeling our master bathroom. Hillary's help in design, Kurt's solving all plumbing problems that arose, and Ofer Gabay getting the final result done in under 2 months was very appreciated. The work men did excellent jobs and Owen expertly handled all the tiling, Kurt the plumbing and painting, etc. We live on the 3rd floor of a 50+ year old condo building, and the workmen's responsiveness to all the numerous issues surrounding the various issues of the job (especially unforseen emergencies) was good. There were some problems with the work schedule, especially punctuality and housekeeping. Overall, tho, we got a great bathroom that looks beautiful at a great cost and in a relatively short amount of time considering the numerous unforseen problems that arose with our old bathroom. Bay Easy Construction Foreman, Kurt and his work man, Dave, completely gutted the old bathroom and waterproofed the room preparing it for the new bathroom installation within under a few days. Owen, the expert tile man, rebuilt and remodeled the bathroom from floor to ceiling. Owen expertly cut and efficiently laid tile on the floor, in the shower stall that he built complete with a corner seat, grab bar, and built in shelf for holding shampoos. We love the beautiful tile work. We love the new dual spray shower head fixture. Kurt oversaw the installation by the manufacturer of a modern trackless sliding glass door. Kurt identified all problems that arose with each part of the work stages. He quickly solved a plumbing problem in the shower line. Kurt also identified and fixed problems with the water lines for the vanity sink; he and the General Contractor, Ofer Gabay, resolved the issue by building a second wall that worked very well for the newly braised lines done by Kurt. Owen installed a beautiful backsplash for the new vanity sink; as mentioned before, his tile work is great. Kurt oversaw various workers who installed a new mirrored glass medicine cabinet,and a new light sconce above the large new mirror which was above the new vanity and seamless porcelain sink. They installed a new upgraded toilet, a new exhaust fan, 2 recessed ceiling lights and a towel bar. The bathroom was completely painted and pre-painted wooden moldings were added. |Everyone worked h this job and this can be seen in the great results. We now have a bathroom that is new and modern, safe and clean, but most of all, beautiful. Thanks to everyone who worked on this bathroom remodel.

The new bathrooms and the kitchen are beautiful. Every job has issues but Offer was always making sure to handle them. When I compared prices, I found them not to be the cheapest, but I was not willing to compromise the quality of the job and I am happy I did not.When I received the email asking me to share my experience, I was glad to share it with others. I see the results on a daily basis and I am very happy and would recommend Offer any time. .

 + -1 moreSometimes it is difficult to get building maintenance personnel to stand still long enough to listen, but at Bay Easy Construction, the CEO was incredibly helpful. Everything was fixed fast, easy, and well.
Description of Work: The company worked for us on our house the previous year, so when we had problems with our plumbing and wanted to renovate little, we called them. They came out and did the work for nothing. We were so surprised and pleased.

 + 4 moreWe had shopped around for a contractor and got 3 offers for the above job from contractors that were referred by friends. Ofer was one of them and I can say that none of the other contractors had the professional knowledge that he showed by finding a solution to the problem we had. In addition, Ofer did not request any money until the job was completed. Unlike the others, Ofer has his own workers and he works with them every day. He always made sure that we are happy. His workers carefully covered the area to avoid dust and cleaned after themselves each day. Jennie, the designer was amazing and had great ideas. We got a very good price that almost made us wonder about the quality of the job that we are going to get, but we were happily surprised that the result was more than we imagined. We referred Ofer to everyone we know and they all thanked us are very happy. After all these years I still look at my kitchen and bathroom and I love them.

Ofer's and his designer's input was invaluable for me, and the job was above my expectations. The estimate was accurate and affordable, and the work was done in even less time than estimated. We were very happy everyday while work was being done! The workers were always quiet, isolated the dust, cleaned up everything daily. Ofer and his team kept in regular touch with us, monitored work quality, and did everything possible to make us happy. We couldn't be more satisfied!

The owner was very involved; he checked in multiple times and even called me a few times to make sure the work was to my satisfaction. I am actually having them out within the next month or so to repair roof.
Description of Work: He retouched/refinished my bathroom. He refinished the bathtub, installed a new tile backsplash, removed mold from the ceiling and then retextured & refinished the area, re-sheetrocked the whole bathroom and repainted it.

 + 2 moreThe details of how this construction was carried out by this company can only be described as totally professional and done with pride and satisfaction. If it did not appear to work well, one way, in dealing with a 60 year old home, the constractors simply changed gears and prepared it another way to make sure we were satisfied. The trust issue was what impressed me the most. as we wanted our parents to remain in their home, it had to be "subtle" changes that WE knew were major, but they had to be reassured it was of high quality and guaranteed as this was their first home and wanted to remain which was their right and choice. The price was fantastic. After meeting with them the first time I knew we had made the right selection. Mr. Gabay oversaw the project himself with sensitivity and left the site after its completion promising that if any problems occurred, he would be back immediately to address the issues. Everything went as planned. The ramps were low and painted with precision to make sure my parents were comfortable with the change. In fact, it was done so well,, the adjustment for them was easy and acceptable. Bathrooms were put back to "normal" and no excess messes were there. The company worked on a timely basis as was outlined with us and there was never any disruptions. I plan to relocate and hire this construction company once again for remodeling which will more extensive. They will be adding a room, and we are totally confident. So glad to have found them; They have my highest ratings. Thank you for the opportunity to expres this experience to others as our senior population needs to know there are unlimited possiblities to insure their safety as well as living conditions to the fullest. Description of Work: This contractor, Bay Easy Constructtion, provided a step-by step plan as I have never seen before allowing us to know far in advance of how he was going to provide for our needs. He answered our questions thoroughly as we were providing my aging parents with "elderly friendly" environments within their present liiving space, so they would be able to stay in their home, moving safely, and be in a comfort zone. Bathroom reconstruction with bars installed on both tub and shower, railing on bedroom ahd halls, lowering cupboard accessibiltiy with pull out shelves for convenience, two steps remodeled into "ramps" for walkers and wheelchair, and, in addition, painting and patcihing that looked as though the house was constructed as such. Done on schedule with patience of anwwering questions from 88 year olds who were concerned about their home remodeling.. Not to worry with Mr. Gabay, owner of this company, as he not only reassuring, but he promises and puts forth the best easing all of us. I was most impressed, as well, with his sensitiity and patience.

 + 3 moreIn 2011 we hired Ofer as our contractor and his team to retile our whole house, and remodel the master bathroom. they were very respectful, friendly, and worked quickly to make sure it was completed on time for the family reunion. We were very pleased with the results, even our friends and family are amazed with the transformation. Just 2 weeks ago we had some electrical issues in our main panel, naturally I thought to call Ofer since I was so happy with is previous work, and I'm glad I did! Even though he is now working in San Francisco, he still sent one of his guys out to help us and he didn't even charge us.
Description of Work: Complete remodel to our master bathroom, retiling the entire house, and electrical work on the main panel.
