BALT'S CUSTOMING PAINTING

We obtained four estimates, of which Balt's was the third. He was prompt, personable and made suggestions for colors which we had not considered. He even brought in various paint samples for us to see. We were ready to hire him, but had one more estimate appointment after Baltazar left. The fourth estimate was the lowest bidder and, since we were on a budget, we hired the lowest bid. We really liked Baltizar and would have hired him, had we not received a lower bid.

Crew showed up when promised. Prep work was very comprehensive. They spent more than 10 man-days doing prep work before painting. Balt even had his crew redo portions that looked good to me but weren't up to his standards. Crew was very aware of their impact on our household. On the first day they were going to start prepping a spot where the noise would wake our sleeping baby. I asked if they could work on other spots while the baby napped. No problem. As the week went by, whenever they needed to do anything on the exterior of the nursery, they checked with me first to see if the baby was sleeping. Without my asking (although they did check with me first), they also prepped and repainted a concrete fence that was the old house color. After painting, we got our first fall rain. I saw that a downspout was leaking. I thought power-washing might have knocked it loose. Balt checked, saw that it was filled with leaves (not caused by the power-washing), and unclogged it.

I was referred to Balt through a friend with a $5,000,000 home. Balt & his crew did such a good job, she can't stop talking about it. He is concerned about every aspect of the job from start to finish. A perfectionist. I just can't praise him enough. Balt does not advertise. All of his work is acquired through referrals & word of mouth.
