Arnold's Hauling

Arnold was on vacation when I called and even though I offered to call back at another time after his return from vacation, he took the time time discuss the list of items I needed hauled away. He provided a ballpark estimate of $100-$150, which was very reasonable and in the range I expected. He was very pleasant and easy to work with in scheduling a pick-up date/time. On date of pick-up he was on-time and there were no surprises, he honored the opriginal estimate provided even though he ended up taking some extra items that were not on the original list we discussed.

There were at least 6 or 7 large piles of organic material to be loaded and it was accomplished very quickly. It made a fullload so Arnold came back for the non-organic material and made me a good price for the extra load.

Arnold returned by call quickly, came the same day at exactly the time he said he would. When he saw what we had, he charged us less than I had agreed to over the phone. Quick, efficient and a pleasure to deal with.

Arnold always answered the phone when we called and followed up with us before he came out. We were able to reschedule the pickup on short notice without any problem when it turned out our new furniture wouldn't arrive until the following weekend. He was extremely pleasant to work with and worked quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Arnold and will call him again if I need something hauled off.

Found listing on Angie's list, called, descriped service, got estimate and date/time. They showed up on time, worked quickly and price came in about the estimate. Quick, easy and great service.

Arnold brought a mid-size trailer since I was worried about the space available in the driveway to maneuver. He ended up taking two trips, but got everything from a number of different areas throughout my property. Overall, everything went well. Arnold was easy to contact, showed up on time, did the work as discussed, and was accommodating when I later remembered some additional things that needed to be included.

They were quick in responding to our call and gave a ball park estimate over the phone. When they arrived, they stuck to the estimates and even came down as we weren't hoping to pay the high end of the estimate. They took on hour to remove our shed and debris. They were very polite and got everything done. Even had a thank you call afterwards to thank us for our work. Was quick and efficient and stuck to their words. Would gladly do business again with them.

Made call on a Monday afternoon and was answered by Arnold. Explained that we were moving and had a few items to be removed. Arnold asked for a description of material and estimated weight. He then provide a cost estimate and made an appointment for pick up. By Friday afternoon, it was obvious that my estimate was extremely low. Arnold called about hour before arriving to verity the address and time. I let him know of my error and he laughed. He said I wasn't the first and would not be the last. He asked would it be ok to rebid the job based on actual results. I agreed. He arrived on time, introduced himself and asked if where he was parking was ok? He then inspected the load, gave me a new very reasonable quote, I agreed, and he went to work. Arnold was profession from start to finish. He removed everything and made sure no little pieces were remaining. We are very please.

Within two days of my call, Arnold and his son showed up. The work was done quickly, politely, and efficiently. They even helped me move a large desk from one wall to the other free of charge. I will most certainly use this company again and highly recommend them.

I had a problem with the 1st person I had called (not an Angie's List member) who was supposed to remove my large broken branches. I called Arnold and he agreed to come out and remove the debris the next day. He was courteous, explained the work required, gave me a reasonable quote and explained the quote. I agreed to the work & quote. The work was done in a timely manner. I was pleased with the results of the work.

It went well. I do not have a truck or the ability to haul large items. And overall it would have been a huge pain for me to get this done. So for the convenience it was worth the cost. Plus Arnold was punctual, friendly and professional. I would use him again because I had a positive experience.

I called Arnold yesterday and arranged a time for him to come today. He called 20 minutes before arrival and showed up right on time. He was professional and efficient. I will use him again and recommend him to my friends.

Had a really great experience with Arnold's Hauling. Immediate response, and was able to come out to do hauling the next morning. He not only took away all of my junk, but cleaned up the side yard really nicely for me! I felt he was very professional, his price was very competitive, and I definitely plan to use Arnold's hauling again!!

i called this morning and got a conditional estimate on the phone. Arnold showed up on time, did the job quickly and thoroughly, and tried to charge me less than the very reasonable estimate he had given me before he arrived! I insisted that he take the full amount. I look forward to hiring him again.

Not applicable Note: the system requires a date for the service. There was no service but I had to put in a date anyway.

They answered the phone in a friendly tone and after explaining what I needed done they stated they could have someone here by 2pm. A few hours later they called and said they could be there in 20 minutes and they showed up in about 20 minutes. They quoted me a price on the phone that they stuck too when it was time to pay. The haulers were friendly, professional and were careful when hauling the mattress down the stairs. I would use them again.

The work cost me around $130. I felt that he was pretty honest. I told him wanted I wanted him to do. When he was hauling the things away, he even accommodated my request to haul some other things. He was willing to work with me. I felt that his price was fair, even though I hadn?t asked anybody else. He was punctual. I have recommended him to somebody else. I will use him again in the future.

We had a small hauling job - miscellaneous stuff we wanted to get rid of before the heavy rain started. Arnold fit us in at the last minute, came on time, helped move some things around and took everything away for about HALF the price that Got Junk's site was quoting me. Nice guy on top of it. This is definitely the company I'm calling next time.

Arnold came and gave me a quote of $300, $150 of which he said was the dump fee. We scheduled it for the following day. He arrived about 30-60 minutes later than he said he would, but he got right to work. In the middle of it, he had to leave to help one of his helpers with another job, then he came back and finished. He left the property in great shape, and even raked up leaves in the area, which I wasn't expecting. Overall, I am happy with the work. The price seemed a little high, but maybe that's just the going rate.

I called in the morning and received a call back very quickly (within 1-2 hrs). Arnold was very professional gave me a quote right away for hauling a washer - when he learned the dryer would need to be taken down and the washer disconnected and taken down from the second floor he adjusted the price very reasonably. He set 10am the next day. He called me at 9:50 to say he was running a little late (less than 1/2 hr) and then arrived at the time he said he would. He accomplished the tasks quickly without any mishaps. I would recommend him unreservedly. Of the 4 other companies I called - 2 did not even have voice mail; 1 never called back and the 4th one gave a quote that was almost double ($97.95).

It was a good experience. I have no complaints against them. They came on time, picked up everything, cleaned the place and left.

Arnold called to give me a heads-up that he was running a little late, which was fine. He showed up, gave an estimate which sounded good to me, and dove in. He we really good at understanding what I wanted hauled away and what I wanted to be left behind. He also asked about other areas that I had forgotten about. It was just him and he was working up a sweat - not wasting any time. He was done in about two hours. Price was reasonable - I understand you can't escape the dump fees, and Arnold takes it to the transfer station so that as much of it can get recycled as is reasonable, which made me feel a little better.

Called him in AM. He set a time to come later that morning. As that time neared, he called to delay. Then arrived at the later time that afternoon. Arrived with helper. Surveyed the items to be hauled. Quoted me $125. I agreed. He and helper placed items in truck. I paid him $125. He gave me $5 back. They were gone. Entire duration of exercise was on the order of 5 minutes. Then, four hours later (at 6PM) he called and stated that in reviewing his work for the day, he had erred by not giving me a senior discount and that he wanted to correct it by giving me some money back. He stated he was currently outside my house!! So, I opened the door, and there he was!! He presented me an envelope with $20 in it and stated that he wanted to be fully honest in his dealings and apologized for not giving me the discount earlier in the day.

Excellent. He came right on time, was very quick to remove the item, a pleasure to do business with and explained the pricing (dump fees etc).

I had initially declined Arnold's service as I thought the price was too high for 4 items. I learned that it was illegal to put mattress' in the dumpster and other means of disposing were more expensive than Arnold's. I called him back and he got the job done.
