Arnold's Hauling

This company is great. They responded immediately to my message and came within 24 hours to haul my junk away. Their prices are extremely competitive and they are just nice people.

It went great! Arnold and his team were able to get everything hauled away in just a few hours which was very surprising given how large the BBQ island was (BBQ, fridge, sink, stucco enclosure). The removal of the BBQ island turned into a much larger job as there were water lines and electrical (in and return). Arnold was able to cut down into the patio, clean up the water lines, splice the electrical lines, and then repave the patio. This was way beyond my expectation of what they could do. This part of the job required them to come back as they had to buy the materials to do the work. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and their concern in making sure I was constantly updated along the way. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I have wanted to remove the giant swing set and play structure in my backyard for quite some time. I contacted Arnold through his website and he responded via phone right away. We spoke about the job and timeframe. He was very accommodating and once I sent him pictures of the items to be dismantled and moved, he was able to provide a quote right over the phone. Time was of the essence - since the debris from the job was being picked up by the City of Santa Clara yearly cleanup at some time during this week. Arnold made arrangements to fit me in Tuesday, 4/8/14 to ensure that we would getting the debris out to the street for recycling/pick up. Arnold and his crew were extremely professional, courteous and on time. They even removed the concrete foundations for each post of the play structure and swept/raked the area at the completion of the job. They placed all debris neatly at the curb just as I asked. I would highly recommend Arnold and his crew for any demo/hauling job you might have. He was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely call him the moment I needed any kind of hauling or demo service in the future. 100% Satisfied Customer.

Arnold was great! very reasonably priced. Initially i contact Arnold to haul away carpet and pad, but my husband decided to take down drywall too. Arnold rolled with the punches and cleaned up after hauling away all of our debris! My husband was very pleased and expects to hire Arnold again.

Contacted Arnold to remove a leaky hot tub and a worn-out redwood play structure. We made a 10 am appointment; he promised to phone 1/2 hour in advance on the day to confirm precise arrival time. By golly, at 9:31 the phone rang! Arnold & his brother quickly filled their trailer with the lumber pile then left to dispose of it. On their return, they sawed the spa into manageable pieces for removal. They left the area clean, even removed the leaf litter that had collected around the spa. The guys were very pleasant & straightforward about what they would do and what it would cost.

Arnold has been one of my greatest finds on Angie's List! I have used him several times, as we have completed various remodel projects on our house. He always manages to fit me in within a few days, his prices are reasonable, and he really cleans up the area after he hauled the materials away. Plus, he is just an all around nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend him!

He had good availability, so we settled on time and day, and they showed up reasonably close to the time. He did call to indicate they were on their way. He brought a trailer, and once I told him what needed to go, he and his brother got to work. Took about an hour to load it up. If I had to do it, it probably would have taken me all day and 3 pick up truck loads to the dump, if I had a truck. So definitely worth it to me to be rid of the junk.

Arnold was responsive. He returned my call in a couple of hours after I left a message for a quote. Then, I sent him some pictures of the stuff to be hauled away. He gave a quote by email in an hour. On the day of service, he and his brother Dido were late for 30 minutes because of the traffic on the highway 101. He gave me a call to notify me the situation, which is nice of doing that. When they got to my home, they started to work right away. Arnold and His brother were very friendly. On my list of stuff, there was a mirror of large size on the second floor. The stairway was narrow with a corner. They carried down the mirror carefully without damaging walls or carpets. My stuff was piled in the backyard and only can be accessed through the interior of my home. They carefully and swiftly moved the stuff away. Their job was done in a hour. They showed passion about their work. I am happy with their service.

Arnold was great! He answered his phone both times I called. He was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone (instead of having to come see it first which would make me feel obligated to use them). His price seemed fair and he suggested I call around to compare if I want. I did try to call around, one was a much higher quote, some did not answer the phone at all and another needed to come see the stuff before they could quote. I decided to go with Arnold, he came the next day and the price ended up being about $25 less then he estimated. They were fast and very friendly. I would use them again!

I called Arnold on a Thursday and he reshuffled his schedule so that they could start the following day. The job turned out to be more challenging than either he or I had anticipated and when the additional scope was known Arnold approached the matter in a professional manner and he and I agreed on an upcharge to cover the additional labor and hauling involved. This was a tough job and I suspect others may have given up or tried to raise the price significantly. Arnold was professional throughout and delivered excellent service at a very fair price. His communication and professionalism were the best that I have seen from the contracting industry. I will definitely use him again.

Great service! They were able to come the following day (A Saturday!) They were here on time and very professional. The fireplace insert was still in the fireplace and they removed (not an easy job) Will definitely be using them in the future I wouldn't consider using anyone else. What a wonderful experience to get rid of 3 huge bulky items! Very reasonable price. Thanks Arnold and son!

Everything went well and was done in 1/2 hour.

Arnold arrived early, which was good, full of energy and enthusiasm. He's a strong, fast, friendly guy and it was a pleasure to watch him at work and to see some free space open up in my home and patio. I am moving to CO in three days, but I'll recommend him to any members in the Bay Area. Two thumbs up!

Hey, Arnold! Pfffft!!! Called this provider based on great reviews on Angie's List. We had a cordial conversation, discussed the scope of the work (dirt hauling and shed teardown) and the method for completing the job. He said he would need to view the proposed work and would call me back in 3-4 days to set up an appointment. On the fourth day, and no call, I called him again. He apologized for not calling, saying he wasn't sure if he was to call back or if I was to call back. OK. Then he said he would be at my house the next day between 10 a.m. and noon. The next day, another guy shows up from a different company! He says he handles this guy's work in my residential area. What? A subcontractor for hauling? He gives me his card. I later start checking him on-line: nothing. I ask for references: nothing. Needless to say, I'm back to square one.

Arnold was fantastic. He was on time, efficient, and very reasonable with his prices. Very quick to respond to my call as well. I will definitely use him again for anything else I need demolished or hauled away!

Communication before the job; getting an estimate, scheduling a time, etc. was excellent, prompt, and straightforward. Job was scheduled to be done within days. Arnold arrived right on time and did the job at almost exactly the estimated time . Friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Did a splendid, thorough job. Highly recommend.

We left a message for Arnold on a Saturday morning and within an hour he returned our call and made time in his day to come out to review the scope of our bath remodel. Arnold provided a low to high range based on the scope reviewed and we agreed to a date only 3 days after his initial visit to start the work. Despite having a sick employee and a stolen trailer he made it out within 2 hours of the original appointment and did most of the work himself. What we most appreciated was that Arnold and his the crew were extremely communicative as well as conservative on how much material was actually removed surrounding the existing construction which would remain as part of our remodel. They were meticulous and tidy in the actual removal. We were billed on the low range for the services. We appreciated Arnold's personable and efficient nature and would recommend Arnold's hauling for your project!

Had piled up stuff in the garage and was looking for a hauling service. Called Arnold's Hauling, He provided a reasonable quote over the phone. He showed up same day. Arnold is very friendly and warm, Definitely would use him again

I called left a request for quote and he called me back on a Sunday, within hours of my request. He quoted a reasonable price and since my job was small, worked it in with a neighboring job to save me money. He showed up when he said he would. Mission accomplished!

They were prompt and professional. I had a lot more items than I'd originally indicated on the phone, and they negotiated a very fair price. They were also very efficent, hauling away a large trailer full of stuff about 30-40 minutes after they arrived. They also swept up afterward. I will definitely call Arnold again.
