Arnold's Hauling

This service is excellent and Mr. Arnold is very reliable and very courteous and punctual. I hired this service for my parent's home, where the junk and unwanted items had to be removed. The price was fair and affordable. My elderly mother was very happy and called me right after he left and said "He came already, and he is a very nice man. And everything looks clean now." That's all I needed to know. I will most definitely be using him in the future.

Arnold was a true pleasure. He and his brother removed a large, attached wooden pergola from our yard and removed two enormous cement posts that secured the pergola. They were fast, quick and cleaned up after themselves. When Arnold realized that removing the wood slat attached to my house might cause water damage to my house he talked to me about it and prevented a catastrophe. He gave me an option to shop around for a better price and was all around above board and professional. I often feel like vendors are trying to take advantage of me to get a higher price. Not Arnold. He was far and professional. I highly recommend him.

Arnold is the nicest man on the planet. From the first phone call he was very professional. I called on Thursday afternoon, and the job was completed by Monday. Arnold and his assistant were on time, and the job proceeded very smoothly. His estimates of the time and cost were reliable.

Hauled away all the junk. Extra fee for concrete removal, but still very reasonable. Great job.

Arnold was prompt to return our inquiry call. We were a bit out of his normal area of operation but he still agreed to quote the job. Arnold's quote was very reasonable. And he was also very flexible in scheduling during the 2015 winter holiday break; 1 work day prior to the originally scheduled date, he was good to reschedule to the following week to due rain (safety reasons). Weather was in our favor on the second scheduled date; and Arnold and his teammate "the ant" arrived shortly after 8am to begin the job. I called his teammate 'Ant Man' (the movie has just come out) because he really worked continuously until the job was done. They finished at the expected time and completed the demolition and hauling to my satisfaction (safe and clean). If I have a similar need in the future, I would not hesitate to call on Arnold again.

He was wonderful. He actually called me to schedule an appointment before I had a chance to call him. He was very conscientious. He had to change the date. But, he was just so pleasant and so on top of keeping in communication with me, that it wasn't a big deal. I would use him again. There was no additional charge. He was just super friendly and very respectful. The kind of person you just want to interact with. He was just so nice. I would recommend him to other people.

Arnold and his partner showed up on time and went right to work on the demo in our garage. We had just bought a house that had decades old cabinets and a large built in workbench. My husband and I thought we could do this ourselves and rent a dumpster but there's no way we could have done this job! Plus, have you seen the price of renting a dumpster? That alone would have cost nearly $400. We will definitely be calling Arnold again.

Arnald was prompt, polite and did an excellent job. It was a pleasure to deal with him and I will certainly call him again when I'm cleaning out my garage. I really like the fact that he recycles whatever can be recycled. I recommend him highly.

The job went great. Arnold called on the morning that he was available and he arrived at my house within half an hour. He'd given me a price range over the phone and when he actually saw the cabinets he said it would be $200, which was very reasonable. It took them about 2 hours to tear out the cabinets, load the trailer, and clean up the mess. This is the second time I've used Arnold's Hauling. Last year they removed a backyard shed and miscellaneous items from the shed for $180. It's always a pleasure doing business with these guys. They're friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced. I wish more service providers were like them!

Arnold answered his own phone and asked me to describe the job. He quoted me the Angie's List deal of $400 per trailer load. It turned out that i had more than one load so he did the job over two consecutive days. He showed up on time. He was without his usual partner, so did all the work himself! He worked methodically and did a great job. Arnold is very personable and has a great attitude. He did a good job of cleaning up (sweeping) at the end. I plan on using Arnold again in the future. i would recommend Arnold without hesitation.

He came when he said he would, and he took away all the wood that we had piled up near the driveway. He had said it would cost us more money if we had several piles in different areas around the house, and since we were trying to save money, we got it put in one big pile. He was able to back into the driveway near the pile of wood. We weren't sure exactly what day the shed would be torn down, and he worked with us on the date. When we did decide on the date it would be torn down, he gave us options as to what days he could come. We had several to choose from. He and his helper were very polite, prompt, and did the work well. He charged us exactly what he had quoted on the phone. If he thought the load had exceeded 500 pounds, the cost would have been more. We certainly will use him again if needed.

I sent my email requesting service at about 9:15 pm on June 8, 2015 and had an immediate response back from Arnold requesting my phone number to set up service. He called me within 5 minutes and set up a time for the following day. My appointment window was 1:00-2:00 pm and he called about 30 minutes before to let me know they were on their way. When they arrived I was greeted by Arnold and his brother, both very professional and personable. They looked at the job and told me it would take about an hour to complete and quoted me the price. The job was completed within the hour time and they left my patio where the wood was laying in great shape....very clean! I paid by credit card and a receipt was emailed to me. Great job and wonderful service!! I will definitely use Arnold's Hauling Service again in the future.

Everything started out well initially. I spoke to the owner, Arnold, who was very professional and willing to work with my schedule. We scheduled an appointment for February 1 for him to haul away furniture from my apartment with a 3 hour window. On February 1, I received a call from one of the employees at who agreed to meet me at my apartment to haul the furniture in 30 minutes. My husband and I arrived 5 minutes early and waited for 30 minutes and no one showed up. I called the employee again and he said he thought I would be there at the time I called and I told him we agreed at another time. He then said he would be there in 5 minutes. My husband and I waited 15 minutes and still no one was there. We decided to leave and cancel the service. It's a shame some of the employees are unprofessional. I hope the owner truly examines his employees since they reflect the company and are the ones who keep the business going.

Arnold and crew did a great job. Communication to great, keeping us up to date on arrival and asking good questions. I have used Arnold's service 3 times now and is was always a good experience.

When I first contacted Arnold on a Thursday in early afternoon, he got the details of what I wanted done and then tried his hardest to fit me in that day. We discussed the logistics of picking up a twin bed from my 94 year old mother who resides in an assisted living facility. We concluded that it wouldn't be feasible for Arnold to get the job done that day, though he tried hard to figure out a way to get it done the same day I called. We agreed he would do the job first thing the next morning, Friday. He was to haul away a twin size mattress, box spring, and metal frame. He would have to interact with the assisted living facility staff to gain access to my mother's room. Early afternoon of the day of pick up I was contacted by the assisted living facility and they confirmed the bed had been taken. However, they thought that the metal frame had been left. I contacted Arnold immediately since we had contracted him to take 3 things which included the frame. He was very distraught that things hadn't gone perfectly. He apologized, said he'd contact his employee, and he himself would return the next day, Saturday, to pick up anything left. I let Arnold know that I was working on what the facility had told me, that I hadn't actually been there to see for myself. He was still concerned and was trying hard to make it right. A few minutes after ending the call Arnold called back and said his employee had all three pieces in his truck. There was some sort of miscommunication. When I visited my mother the next day, Arnold was correct. All three items I had asked Arnold to pick up had been taken. I am so impressed with 3 things : 1) Arnold's determination to get the job done as soon as possible, 2) Arnold's determination to make it right when there was any question that something MIGHT have gone wrong, and 3) Arnold correctly getting the job done when he had to work with myself contracting the job over the phone, my 94 year old mother, and the staff at the assisted living facility where she lives. I will most definitely use Arnold for all our hauling. He is professional, determined to get the job done right to the customer's satisfaction, and, I believe, reasonable in price.
