Jose was fantastic! His attention to detail and customer focus was far beyond any contractor I have worked with. He was flexible and his follow up was amazing. We highliy recomend him to anyone!

It went very well. When AMK came up with unanticipated issues, they discussed it with us, and presented us with clear options at fair prices.

They did a great job on it. My son-in-law helped me look over the contract, and he was very impressed with the level of professionalism this company had. They cleaned up after themselves and followed through on what they said they would do from beginning to end. They were accessible and always had time to fully answer my questions. I couldn't have had a better experience! I feel they did the very best that could have been done. I am very pleased.

After searching Angie's list and finding very few roofers with overwhelmingly positive reviews, we hesitantly chose three bidders for our project -- detecting and fixing some serious leaks in a 1930s house with a very dodgy roof. Jos? was the most professional, the timeliest, and the most clear about what needed to be done, so we asked him to do the work. All I can say after the fact is that we are so glad we chose him. He and his crew worked extremely hard including well into a couple very cold evenings to get the work done. The work itself was extremely thorough and was tested with two days of downpour just after finishing. What had been a number of small leaks and one rather huge leak were dry as a bone. Success! One interesting note: The three roofers who bid on our project gave three different explanations for what was happening (invisibly) under the surface. All sounded confident, but Jos?'s reasoning made the most sense. And, the proof? He was right about the problem. Jos? was always courteous, very clear and communicative, punctual, and a genuinely nice guy. He took the time to explain in layman's terms what he was doing, gave us suggestions about different ways to do the work to save us money, and never pushed us to do or spend more. He was honest. I am so glad we chose him and would recommend him to anyone looking for roof repairs. We've got more roof projects in our future (sigh...) and we will call Jos? without hesitation. While we don't look forward to more roof problems, we look forward to working with Jos? again.

I called AMK Roofing to get an estimate as I did with few other companies. Jose was on time and gave an impression of genuine workman rather than salesman type. We decided to go with AMK roofing. On the first day of work, we had clouds and very light shower sometime in the afternoon. The guys worked non stop that day (almost 11 hours) to make sure that there is no open spot left before they leave. That was impressive and was done without asking for it. It took 3 more days after that to complete the gutters, shingles etc. They cleaned the place (mine and the neighbor's) before they would leave for the day. Real test of the new roof will be in the rainy season but from what we experienced in terms of expertise of the team, I don't think we will have any issues. Highly Recommended!

Instead he got a priority interrupt to fix someone elses roof before the rain. I merely was looking for a quote which would have taken 30 minutes max. Good thing i have others to choose from on Angie's List. I find cancelling a meeting the night before to be quite unprofessional.

They left the yard cleaner than how they found it and we are very happy with the way the new roof looks. I would recommend AMK to my neighbors. Jose is a nice guy, easy to work with, reliable, responsive and conscientious. He always calls you back the same day and shows up ready to go.

Jose came to our house on time with about a day's notice. He climbed on our roof to do an estimate and took pictures of the damaged area. He gave us an estimate and returned to perform the work. He did not exceed the estimate and again took pictures to show what he had done which he emailed to us along with invoice. Jose was professional and very courteous.

AMK was the only contractor of 7 who did a full roof inspection before providing the bid. The others just included assumptions in their quote without seeing the actual work needed. They were prompt and completed all repairs in a timely manner. Jose was very helpful to refer me to additional contractors who could help with additional repairs outside of his scope of expertise. I would definitely recommend AMK Roofing to anyone needing their services.

Jose and crew arrived on time, completed the roof in one and a half days. Jose returned to show me the completed work. This was an excellent job done. The final touch was a complete clean-up of all roofing debris.

He was very helpful. At one time I had some questions about my roof. He came out and looked at the roof to see what it was. He said there was something wrong with the vent and that the roof was fine. He followed through with what he said he would. He was honest, thorough, and very good. I am satisfied with his work. My experience with them was positive. I like the way the company deals with the customers. They provide excellent service. They were also very competitively priced when compared to other companies.

Jose was very responsive and professional throughout. He took pictures showing problem areas when he first came out on a Friday, showed pictures and explained issues to me. Replaced the kitchen vent same day and covered chimney flashing to prevent water damage. Promised to come back on Monday to effect balance of repairs. Actually didn't come out until Tuesday, which was okay. Finished all repairs/gutter cleaning on Tuesday. Took pictures and emailed explaining issues again and corrections made. Invoice total came to $660 before discounting of $110, including 10% discount for being an Angie's member. I'm VERY pleased with the work, price, responsiveness, and professionalism; would definitely hire again.

Jose was responsive and professional throughout. Pictures showing problem areas were emailed along with a quote for tri-level 1800 SF house. Initially promised to come out on Monday for inspection but didn't come out until Tuesday, 4/6. Not a big problem but a call would have been nice since I'd informed the tenant that Jose would be there on Monday. Jose came out as promised on Friday, 4/9, to do the work and handled all repairs. Pictures after worked performed were emailed along with invoice, very much appreciated to see the before and after! Gross price $720 but after 10% Angie's list member discount and other, total $600. Would definitely hire again!

All went very well. Jose plus one employee showed up when promised and got right to work. At first, I thought the estimate was a bit high but seeing all the work that went into this project, I think I received more than a fair deal. My only complaint is that the downspouts were not cut correctly in some cases so the height is off, meaning I had to pull them off the ground and bend them up and out. Pretty minor, but it could have been done better. Lastly, knowing that we have kids and a dog, a quick pick up and sweep of the areas would have helped as metal shavings were all around the ground below the gutters. Other than those two minor moans, Jose did a great job and seemed like a nice, friendly guy as well.

AMK's bid to repair was the middle bid -- but, I liked Jose. He is very responsive --- always called back the same day while we were deciding on which bid to go with, and showed up on time on the day he said he would. They were very conscientious in the work, and Jose even came back the day after he was all done to look in our attic to make sure there was no daylight coming though holes or cracks he might not have seen from the outside. Jose is a nice guy and a hard worker and when we are ready to replace, I will definitely call him for a bid.

We are remodeling our two bathrooms and it didn't have exhaust fans. So wanted to get exhaust fan holes in the roof and went thru angieslist and called few roofing guys. After I saw Jose and the way he was explaining what needs to be done, felt perfect fit for the job and didnot bother to call up other guys. Also while he is cutting holes and fixing the flashings, he found leakages in the existing vents and let me know. When bathroom walls are ripped apart, we could see mold all over the one of the walls and kept wondering from where it is leaking and he solved the mystery. He did a overall health check of the roof on his own initiative and identified cracks which required immediate work. I am glad he did it, otherwise it would have become a major expense few months down the road. He did let me know ahead how much it costs and why it costs that much for the new leakages/cracks he found. He explained thoroughly how is he going to do step by step. His quote seemed reasonable to the work he described, so did not bother to negotiate on the price. We did go on the roof while he is working and he took time to explain what he is doing and why it is required. Overall I am very happy with his work and asked him give a quote on skylight, planning to get it done with him in couple of weeks.

They were very careful in matching the color of the shingles with the right color of paint. I was impressed with the careful way that the work was done. I was impressed with Jose. At one point there was a problem, not in the area that he was working, and he came out right away and checked everything. He never charged me for that. He was prompt and thorough and he was there when I needed him. Jose's wife, who is part of the office, was very courteous. All of the men who came out were very courteous. I was very satisfied with their work. I'm planning on using them again for another job.
