Aly's Tree Trimming Pruning & Yard Clean-Up

Presented liability/insurance info during estimate without asking. Price was on high side, but arborist on team, foreman on site, insurance and liability covered. Advice given about best options for aesthetics. Very professional job, efficient, clean. No surprises. Job was very well done.

I called the office and made an appointment to meet with Aly. He was prompt, very professional, and gave me a fair quote. I liked him so much, I scheduled the work to be done on the spot. On the day scheduled, his crew was on time and immediately got to work, being respectful of my property. I was impressed with how hard they worked to get this project done in one day. They left our property clean, leveled and ready for landscaping. It was a very positive experience and II would definitely use this company again.

Aly's team was prompt and professional. The job was cleaned up so well it was hard to tell that the trees were even there before! Will definitely use again.

I'll start that there were absolutely no problems. Aly provided some suggestions for the project. Work started the next day. I walked through the entire yard with Joseph listing what goes and what stays. He marked the keepers at that time. They started about 2:30 on Tuesday and were doing the final cleanup by 3:30 on Wednesday. They exceeded all my expectations. When I came home on Tuesday everything was cleaned up.I asked for a clean slate to work with for my garden and that is exactly what I have. I'm looking forward to repopulate the garden now. I highly recommend Aly's. He delivered on time, at the quoted price. His entire crew were very pleasant and very efficient. I'm looking forward to working with him again in the future.

I was visiting my father in California and found out the trees all badly needed trimming. I called Aly's around 10 am on Friday morning and by noon they were there to give me an estimate. It is a family business and Aly brought his son who would be supervising the job. They took their time evaluating the trees, talked to us at length about what we wanted done and gave me a very reasonable estimate right then. I hired them that day and they were at the house working by 9 am on Monday morining. We had very large Avacado trees (male & female) trimed back by half and plum trees (3) a Mimosa, a Guava, and a Kumquat all pruned beautifully enough but not so much you were shocked. I would absolutely reccomend them to anyone.

Excellent work. Arrived promptly. Cleaned up thoroughly, very neat. Worked quickly. They have great equipment including a bucket truck to reach very high areas. These guys are pros. Used them repeatedly for many many years. Outstanding service.

Everything about this experience was just perfect - except the weather, which rained lightly most of the day. The job was to remove a 75 ft tall cedar tree in close proximity to the house, with sufficient though not generous room to work. We chose Aly because we had had good experience with him in the past, and the quote was very reasonable, not the very cheapest, but far away from the more expensive ones. He was easy to get in touch with, and was able to schedule on a short notice. The crew arrived punctually at 9 am, and squeezed a small cherry picker through the tight driveway and gate. Since it was a big job, it was also a large crew, one man in the cherry picker, one in the tree, three to four on the ground, and several more operating the chipper and carrying the tree chunks to the chipper on the street. The crew worked in a very efficient manner and were obviously skilled and experienced. The men in the tree and in the lift took turns tying up and cutting off branches and limb segments which were then gently lowered to the ground by rope, where they were carved up and hauled to the chipper.. Eventually the trunk was shortened enough that it could be cut and dropped in 4 or 5 chunks in a controlled manner and then carved and split and hauled away. The tree was gone except for an 8 inch stump, and everything was cleaned up quickly but thoroughly for the night. Next morning, again right on schedule, a two man crew arrived with the stump grinder, and again efficiently ground the stump to maybe 18 inches below ground level (I didn't measure), cleaned up after themselves, and were gone again in less than two hours. We were left, according to our instructions, with a large pile of wood chips and mulch.

Called Aly's Monday morning. He came out promptly at 1 PM that afternoon. Showed me all of their certification (arborist), licenses and insurance. He discussed what would need to be done. He explained that the apple tree, which is over 20 feet tall and very top heavy, was going to need some serious attention. He provided the cost estimate on the spot, and we arranged for the work to occur the next afternoon. They showed up Tuesday afternoon and got to work. It actually took until the next morning to finish the job. The trees look great. The Jacaranda had not been trimmed in 10+ years, so it had been very dense. They opened it up by trimming in a balanced manner on the interior of the tree. The fruit trees look good too, and we'll see what impact there is on the fruit production. My opinion is that the workers had a very good understanding how to prune, trim and shape a tree to maximize a tree's health. I will be using them again.

Arrived with a big crew on time. Worked diligently all day. Fulfilled all my requirements, left the yard neat and clean. Couldn't ask for more. Only problem: had to call 3 times to arrange an appointment to do the work.

We hired Aly's to cut down a 40 ft Italian stone pine tree in our backyard after a neighbor came to complain about it leaning and uprooting her retaining wall. Our backward is a steep hill and on the bottom of the hill was a trail so removing it was tricky. Talked to Aly over the phone, scheduled an appointment for the estimate but I was about 5 minutes late, but no sweat as I had said that if I was late he can let himself in to the backyard through the side gate. By the time I got back, Aly had left an estimate, and when I called him back, he said his crew could remove it the next morning. Next morning, 3 guys showed up to cut down/shred the limbs, and later on, a lot more guys showed up and by lunch time they were done and I just handed the check to one of the guys. The work done was very professional and clean, and nothing was left on the curb for the city garden waste truck to pick up. I was very impressed.

They made our job their first assignment for Tuesday morning and did an excellent job. Their work and their responsiveness were 5 star service, - they were my heroes!

Aly met me at the promised time, wrote up his estimate as we looked at the work to be done, and within minutes handed me his written estimate along with copies of his contractor's license, certification as an arborist, liability insurance, etc. He was courteous, efficient, professional. I did not use his service because I went with a service that was able to counsel and advise me regarding my plans. Actually Aly's bid was slightly lower than the service I hired and I hope to be able to use his service in the future.

Aly came out for an estimate on Sunday, and the work was done on Thursday. The crew was efficient and professional and cleaned up everything. I have used Aly several times, and would use him again.

The crew worked continuosly for 2 days and cleaned up after the second day even though they were coming back the next morning to continue. They accomodated my frequent questions and even assisted me in picking out certain pieces of wood I am using to decorate my garden. The owner, Aly was very helpful in my understanding of the process and his advice helped expedite the process with the city, and even saved me a substantial amount of money. thank you

This year the team showed up on time in the morning on the agreed day and left in the midafternoon. The trees were shaped, the hedges looked good and they had done an good job cleaning up the dead leaves and debris. I'm always pleased by how the trees look afterwards. After professional shaping they just look more attractive than before.

I strongly recommend Aly's tree service. Aly arrived promptly as scheduled to give an estimate. He walked my property as we identified trees and shrubs, and explained to me what type of trimming he would recommend and why. He also gave me a copy his licensing paperwork, arborist certification, and insurance. I wanted my tree trimming done correctly, so the arborist certification was important to me. We have a 100' redwood that needed work, so I considered the job fairly dangerous and did not want to harbor any liability myself. Every time I contacted Aly via telephone or email he and his team were responsive. Aly's crew of 5 people came on the prescribed date to my property. Two of Aly's son's were in the crew. They spent time before starting work to make sure they understood exactly what I wanted done. They spoke perfect English and were good communicators. They were on the property for about five hours, trimming and removing trees and stumps. They were careful around the irrigation system and did not cause any damage. The cleaned up, raked, and removed all the mess made by tree trimming and wood chipping. They even cleaned any debris that had found its way into the neighbor's yard. At the end, before leaving, Robert (the crew chief) walked the property with me to make sure the job had been performed to my satisfaction. I asked for one tree to be cut back a couple more feed, and he happily performed the work and cleaned up again. I'll be using them again, no question.

The tree hung over my neighbors roof and driveway, the front sidewalk and street and my front yard. They had to work around many rose bushes, junipers and planters as well as two fences. The tree looks fantastic and no other plants were harmed. I even asked that they take special care around a large planter with several cactus and they placed a ladder over them. Even though they were directly under 2 huge branches they remain unscathed. All debris was chipped, hauled away and any residue cleaned up. They even went through all my planters and roses to make sure there were no stray branches or twigs left behind. They were all punctual, polite, friendly and professional. I would definitely hire them again. In fact I asked them to give me another quote for some future work and was given a great quote for that also and will be having that done in the spring.

@The work crew showed up on time and went to work very efficiently. After hauling off all the cut branches, they left our yard cleaner than when they arrived. When my wife got home, there were additional branches she wanted trimmed. A worker came the next morning and took care of everything with no problem or additional charge.

I am extremely pleased, overall, with Aly's service. I called him on a Friday afternoon and he scheduled the job for that Sunday at 10 AM. His large, friendly, family crew arrived on time and finished the above list in four hours! Everything was expertly and very carefully done with attention to aesthetics and the health of the trees. I was worried about pruning the huge, box elder since it was long overdue and because it's the main shade tree in my backyard, but it now looks fantastic. The pine-ferns in front also look wonderful (Aly actually listened to how I wanted them shaped and his crew did exactly what I had in mind -- this doesn?t happen with many tree services)! Everything else was also nicely done. A couple of very minor issues: there were a few wood/dirt chip piles left on the lawn (kicked there by the stump-grinder) but Aly sent someone back to clean those up the next day, as soon as I noticed them (unfortunately, I didn't see this before they left or they would have taken care of it then). Also, some small branches/leaves were strewn around the path from carrying the branches out of the back to the chipper in front and were not collected on final pass somehow. I just picked them up myself, not a problem. The big picture is beautiful. I definitely recommend Aly, and will be calling him again.

Very courteous and responsible crew. Gave good suggestions and took note of many privacy issues I had with trees and shrubs to block undesirable views. His suggestions were good and the cleanup could not have been better. One large tree was over a swimming pool and the pool was left cleaner than before they started. Great Service - have recommended to others already.

This was one smooth job! Aly's was recommended to me by the contractor who did some landscape work for me earlier in the summer. I called on a Saturday and Aly came out the very next day, Sunday, to look at the job. He provided information about his licensing, insurance and certification the 1st thing. We chatted about what I wanted and he provided his proposal on-the-spot. I called on Monday morning to schedule the work. He thought his crew might be able to get here that same day, late in the afternoon. However someone called later to say that they were doing a job that was taking longer than expected, and offered to come the following day at 9 am, which worked for me. A crew (6, I think, in 3 trucks with lots of equipment) showed up a few minutes after 9 on Tuesday and went right to work. It took them a couple of hours, and they had to move some "stuff" out of their way. They did exactly what I needed, cleaned up, piled back in their trucks and left. The only hitch was that they nicked a PVC irrigation pipe that I neglected to tell them was there. No big deal, and as much my fault as theirs.

They did a great job. I'm planning on having them trim trees in front in a few months.

The price was better than just average but I think it could have been little bit cheaper. I am satisfied with it.
