Description of Work: Aly showed up and provided an estimate. He also told me that it's best to wait to prune Birch trees in the Fall, since Summer pruning can cause them too much distress. I waited to call Aly's in the Fall, then scheduled an appointment. His team showed up when they were scheduled and did a great job. Aly's is our tree care company and has been for ten years.

Description of Work: Very professional, courteous and pleasant from the first phone call, coming out to do the estimate and when they carried out the work. Arrived on time and confirmed work that needed to be done. Cleaned out shrubs and trees from back and front yard and ground down any stumps. Also trimmed a couple of trees. They cleaned up really well after they were finished and they even repaired an old pipe that was connected to the hose, which broke when they tried to use it. It was at the end of its useful life anyway but I really appreciated the fact that they fixed it and didn't try to push it back on me or make it my problem. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them in the future.

Description of Work: Aly's Tree Trimming cleaned up our palm tree, which is a very tall one, and required not just a trim of the dead and dying branches at the top, but a lot of messy bark around the middle of the tree. This was not a standard palm tree trimming job. The tree looked great afterwards, and did a careful job of cleaning up and keeping falling debris away from our neighbor's yard. The cost was more than I had hoped it would be, but the quality of the job justified it and will be much easier to trim in the future.

Description of Work: Large Elm tree in the back yard, which shaded the house and yard, had a major limb split away from the main trunk. This eliminated a quarter of the tree (shade) and left the tree very unbalanced. | |6/10/15 - Called Aly's Tree Trimming Pruning service and left message with the receptionist Vanessa regarding pruning an Elm tree with a broken limb. She called back later that day and said that Aly could stop by at the end of the day. He arrived at 4:15. | |Aly suggested that they trim the tree way back (75%) and then bolt and bond the split limb back into place. Because of the big root system the tree would quickly recover and in a few years we would have a nice shade tree again. The other option would be to remove the tree and plant a replacement. This would cost more and take a lot longer. We scheduled the work for Monday morning 6/15/15 starting in the 8 to 10 time frame. | |Workers arrived at 9:30 and in 3 hours had pruned the tree back and cleaned up. After a more detailed look at the broken limb we decided to just cut the limb back to the trunk and not bolt it. | |We were very pleased with the service and would use them again. |
