Aly's Tree Trimming Pruning & Yard Clean-Up

Excellent job overall. I had to have the two trees removed from my patio because of them being too close to a HOA-owned fence. Aly came to look at the trees & stumps same day I called him for an estimate, made the estimate on the spot. Estimate was lower than other company I talked to and Aly was also more flexible than other company: Needed less notice for scheduling, could do all the work with the old fence still up, could also haul rocks & soil, and would move all my plants and patio furniture. The four person crew showed up at scheduled time, and they were all very professional and friendly, and very well informed about the specifics of the work. They did an excellent, fast but very thorough job, cleaned everything up very nicely and I did not have to move any furniture or plants myself. They did it all.

Aly's crew got there right on time, went right to work and carefully trimmed and shaped all of the trees they bid on. We have a lot of wires that run through our backyard so we were a little concerned about that. Aly's crew were professional and very careful. They respected our yard and cleaned up beautifully. Our trees look wonderful. We are very pleased with the work they did. They chipped all of the clippings and left them in neat piles in our front street so the Green Waste service could pick up in the morning. They would have gladly hauled it all away, but we didn't need them to.

When I came home I told them that I wanted more of the tree trimmed and they got back into the bucket and trimmed more of the tree to my satisfaction. It was a very large job because they had to remove my lawn ornaments and a bamboo fence and replaced everything back. They came with a copy of their license and insurance and a guarantee on the work. The arborists was very professional. They cleaned up all of the leaves and tree trimmings in my front yard. I thought that there prices were very reasonable compared to the price I paid another company a year before.

It took about 5 hours with a crew of 4. They cleaned up very well.

We have eight fruit trees in our backyard. Two Pear trees had fire-blight. Most of the trees had gotten too tall. I found Aly on Angie's List and called him. He came quickly to give me an estimate. He was on time, very cordial, and professional. I was very impressed by his comments and explanations about the state of my trees. He made some excellent suggestions. He didn't try to pressure me into a contract. He also gave me copies of his business license and other documents, including his certification as an Arborist. He gave me a very reasonable estimate. His crew arrived at the promised time a couple of days later. They too were very professional. They were exceptionally careful and asked questions when anything was in doubt. Aly showed up awhile later to check on their progress and talk to me. He left and the crew finished their work. They were quiet, and very efficient. They finished the job in an hour, and left my place cleaner than before!

I was very satisfied. Three people showed up, each knew what they were supposed to do, and they cleaned up after themselves very well. I wish all companies were as efficient.

Received the estimate on 11/20 and we agreed that 11/29 for the service. The crew came in on time. They did a great job and worked very well together. They took extra care to removing the trees as they were located next to the fence and shed. They did an excellent job of cleaning up including the pine needles that were on the roof of the shed.

They did the job efficiently and cleaned up all the trimmings very nicely. I would hire them again if necessary.

Even though I did not have him do the work, I had two other estimates and picked the least expensive, I was very impressed with Aly's credentials and friendliness.

They came out promptly to provide an estimate when an actual person answered the phone. I had earlier left a message on their answering machine and I got a call a week later to see what I wanted. It took about a week wait before they came to do the work which was what they had estimated. They did not call to let me know exactly when they were coming though it was the last of the three days that they said when they did the estimate. They trimmed a difficult to reach palm tree growing next to my house. They did an excellent job of trimming the tree and removing all the debris afterwards. They also trimmed a couple of dead branches off another tree in my front yard as part of this job. They have the right equipment to do this work and I have used them twice in the past. The first time they removed a huge Eucalyptus tree from my front yard at a reasonable price, using their own crane. They did break a window in the process, but paid for the repairs. I would use them again.

Got tips from www.canopy.org and estimates from services registered with them. Aly wasn't listed, but he is a certified arborist and gave me copies of insurance and workmen's comp. Getting scheduled for the estimate and the tree removal took several calls from me: took a few days longer to estimate than he told me over the phone and the first time we scheduled the tree removal fell through due to last minute scheduling problems on their end. They were able to reschedule within a week, however. And his estimate came in about $200 less than the next lowest estimate. His crew showed up on time, were polite, set up the street with orange cones, were good about moving away items that might be in the way - including moving some of our drip irrigation lines and digging up and replanting a small plant - and cleaned up. We hope to plant another tree in the same spot; I suppose that is when we'll really know the quality of the work. But in the meantime am a very satisfied customer.

The large tree was very close to a fence. They removed the tree quickly without damaging the fence. They also took out a stump and extending roots without damaging the sprinkler or underground sprinkler pipes which were right next to the roots. I really appreciated the extra time they took to remove the roots without hurting the sprinklers. They cleaned up everything and made the site look very nice.

Aly and his crew are the most professional tree service of the four or so that I have worked with in the past. Aly came on time to give me the estimate and priced the job very fairly. His crew of three guys was neat and polite and willing to trim off a few suckers I spotted when I looked over their work. I asked Aly if multiple trees on the property posed a threat to the house from falling branches, and he didn't think so. Some people might have said yes to get the extra business. They seemed interested in the aesthetics of the tree. I thought one branch was not cut in an aesthetically-pleasing way, and the guy was happy to fix it as I wanted.

Aly, the owner came to our house the day after I called him for an estimate. He was on time and very professional. He had all his paperwork and credentials and certifications with him. Since we were to share the cost of hedge removal with our neighbor, it was important to have copies of his qualifications. Our neighbor agreed with us that Aly was the best estimate and was impressed with his background. We faxed approval of the estimate and requested a date for removal. The office staff responded quickly and confirmed the requested date. On the morning of removal the crew showed up on time and began their work. I was surprised how quickly they worked. They were very careful and professional. The clean up was very thorough. The 14 foot high Juniper hedge is gone and you would never know it was even there. Thanks Aly and crew for a job well done!

I called on Monday to schedule an appointment for an estimate. A representative said he would be here Tuesday afternoon. He never showed up. I was really disappointed after reading all the great reviews.

Aly came out to do the initial estimate and was very professional and courteous. The original scheduled date of service was postponed by him because of some extra work another client had asked for, but he was prompt in rescheduling. On the day of service, Aly's crew arrived about 40 minutes later than expected, but they were very efficient and thorough. They covered the pool with a tarp to prevent too much debris from falling in, and skimmed the pool afterwards with our pool net to collect any loose leaves. It turned out that the top of the juniper had to be trimmed from behind, so one of the crew climbed onto the fence behind it and worked while standing on the fence. Despite the unexpected difficulties encountered by the crew, the cost of the service was no higher than the original estimate, and their work was quite good.

Aly came promptly for the estimate appointment. The fee was significantly less (50%) than the other more well known company that does local tree service. The guys doing the work were very nice and did great work. It went fast as well.

Aly's team came in with 13 guys, cranes and tons of trucks and equipment to take down about 10 large trees and 5 smaller trees. Took 4 days total. They were fast, efficient, and professional. I also asked for some minor demolition (shed and shelves and workbench in garage) as well as yard cleanup. They did everything I asked, cleaned up the mess in my yard and neighbors and did an overall great job. Aly was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Work was completed on the day it was scheduled, without problems, and they cleaned up everything afterward very well.

Overall experience was positive. The estimate was high, but I feel I got my money's worth. The clean up was so good you could hardly tell they were here. The only complaint I had was they broke 3 of my Malibu lights when the branches landed on them. I didn't notice until after they were gone, & I repaired them with a hot glue gun good as new. Also one little tree got backed by the wood chipper, I think, as I didn't witness it. The small tree & a rainbird sprinkler next to it got uprooted a little. The sprinkler still works, & I think I can pack the tree back down. I was disappointed that nothing was said about it & the Malibu lights. I had to find these things for myself. Next time I will do a better inspection before I give them payment.

Always punctual and professional, and the folks on the crew are very friendly. They did a great job on all four tasks. They have a crane for taking out large trees, which makes the job safer.

We would definitely use them again. They returned my call for a bid immediately, and they showed up on time, did a professional job and got it done very quickly.

I've had Aly out several times to remove trees. His crew has always done a good job on a very steep lot. His prices aren't cheap, but they're fair.

They have been in business for quite some time. The staff for this company is very professional. They do high quality work for all types of tree removal. I have had positive experiences with this company in the past. Again, their work is outstanding.

A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE COMPANY CAME OUT AND GAVE ME A RUFF ESTIMATE. I WAS PLEASED WHEN THE PRICE OF THE ESTIMATE, WHICH WAS $95 HIGHER THAN WHAT I ACTUALLY HAD TO PAY. THEY CLEANED UP ALL THE TRIMMINGS AND LEFT MY YARD LOOKING VERY NICE AND A TREE THAT WAS BEAUTIFULLY TRIMMED.
