Aly's Tree Trimming Pruning & Yard Clean-Up

Aly gave me a very reasonable and quick quote. Every time I called into their office I talked to a live person and they were always very friendly. The guys who came to complete the work were on time and even stayed later when they need to complete. The guys did do a great job and left the back yard very clean. The team was very professional when they were at my home. Aly provided me all the insurance information required for the project. After the project was completed they gave me a very nice refrigerator magnet to use in case something comes ups.

They were totally responsive & agreed to come immediately to resolve the problem. Did an excellent job. Fair price, no additional charges. Gave an Angie's list discount of $50. Cleaned up perfectly. I am totally satisfied

I was very pleased with Aly's. Aly is prompt and helpful. His crews are fast and do a really professional job. I had them work at three different rental properties in Los Gatos and Monte Sereno. Two of my tenants told me how impressed they were with their work. At one house Aly's was removing several large trees that had fallen down from the neighbor's property. They had a crane and a large crew doing the work. When my tenant and her daughter arrived home in the middle of the work, the foreman whistled and every single worker stopped allowing the women to get into the house safely. Another property shared a driveway with neighbors. Aly's workers kept a watchful eye out for when the neighbors came home and immediately moved their trucks so not to inconvenience them. My tenant told me about this and how they took care to get the ivy roots out making a very thorough job of it. The trees that were trimmed looked great. The work they did for me was back in September. Although I didn't get second quotes, the prices seemed very reasonable for similar work I have had done in the past

Aly's was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. First, the gentleman who came to give an estimate was exactly ontime, courteous, and completely professional. He provided me with a copy of their license, insurance, and contracting information, and gave me a written estimate that was a bit higher than the estimate I had received from two other bidders. However, those bidders did not have insurance and had turned up late to the estimate appointment. So I gave the job to Aly's and I am so glad that I did! The four-man crew that arrived exactly on time the next day for work were also extremely courteous and professional. I was comfortable having them in my yard and around my kids. They did all of the work quickly, efficiently, and when they cleaned up, they left the yard better than before they had arrived. I would absolutely use them again and give them my highest recommendation.

Hired Aly to cut down two trees around the house. They did a great job with the first, and the only issue with the second was that they initially said they would do it, and then backed out after re-thinking the tree's proximity to power lines. My issue wasn't with them being concerned about the power, but that they said it wasn't an issue when they came out for the quote and initial assessment. Ultimately, after PG&E did their job and moved the tree further back from the lines Aly's guys came out and did a great job.

The were great. At first, his bid was a bit higher than the other two companies but we liked his professionalism. We asked him if he would consider a price match and he agreed. The work lasted about a couple of hours. They were punctual, and clean. Ally, the owner came last to inspect the work, it is a family-owned business. Our neighbor used him recently to remove all his trees.

Aly's crew took care of the work professionally and courteously. This is the second time we have used them and would again. I highly recommend them. They also make sure the area is clean before leaving-important to me.

These guys were great. It took them almost a whole day of really hard work to remove the trees and perform the stumping. They cleaned up after themselves and more. You'd never know they had been here. They even saved me $75 by shredding all of the debris and neatly piling it curbside for the city to pick up. I feel great about the cost of this project and even better by the work they did.

They were fast and efficient at taking out the trees. They took away all of the debris. One of the trees was by my lawn, and the lawn got so much sawdust on it that it died. Other than needing to replace my lawn afterwards, this went very well. I've used them twice and would use them again.

The work crew arrived exactly on time (9:15 am) and they finished within the predicted time that afternoon. They were all mature polite and experienced in their jobs. I understand that they had been employed by that company for many years. They all worked hard the entire time except for a lunch break. There was no boom box music or loud talking or joking and they attempted to minimize the disturbance, noise and dust, etc. They did an excellent job of cleaning up. I was very pleased with their professional attitude and the job they did.

I contacted Aly's Tree Service to set up an appointment, Aly arrived within the time window and provided an estimate. He went over the estimate with me; we discussed work in five different areas off my yard and the estimate listed the cost for each area so that I could decide exactly what I wanted done. This was very professional and very useful information to me. I later called Aly back to set up a day and time to do the work. The crew of four arrived within the time promised and promptly went to work. They worked hard and continuously trimming birch and Japanese maple trees in front and several yew and Italian cypresses in the rear. They consulted with me on some things to make sure they were doing what I wanted. The four of them did the work exactly as agreed upon with the correct equipment (including a truck mounted cherry picker) and experience. When they left after about six hours of actual work time, all the cut branches had been removed and the work areas left very clean. And the trees looked so much better.

Like most every review by others, I too was impressed by Aly's handling of the job from start to finish. I started out contacting three contractors, two responded and came out to give me an estimate on the job. The third never called or showed up. Aly's was not the lowest of the two, $200 more when I used the Angie's coupon. But the package presented by Aly was impressive and the reviews on Angie's made it a simple decision. I had a date set prior to the day San Jose sends through trash, recycles and yard cutting pick up. They arrived on time, in fact a little bit early. Everyone was well dressed for the type of work to be done, very professional. The supervisor discussed what was called for in the contract. We were both on the same page and I turned it over to him. I watched some of their work from inside. I knew they were on top of it and it shows. All in all, I would recommend Aly's Tree service to every one.

I had a large liquid amber tree in my back yard. I had used Aly's services before to trim trees in my yards. Aly came out the day I called for a bid. He told me after looking at the tree that it was diseased and needed to come out as soon as possible. Six days later his crew of four men arrived on time. It was a cold and very raining day. They worked extremely hard and removed the tree. Because the tree was close to my house, they were very careful in the process of removing it. They also grinded the stump away and cleaned up. I highly recommend Aly's. They are very professional, know what they are doing, are cautious and always clean up the debris. I highly recommend them.

Aly came out the same day I called to give us a quote to remove the tree and grind down the stump. All he needed was a day's notice to come to remove the tree. They chipped all the limbs which we decided to keep. They cut the trunk into to chucks and hauled them away. They continued to work through a heavy rain. They really know what they are doing. We've used them in the past to trim another huge pine tree. They did a great job and cleaned everything up. We would highly recommend them.

He was polite all in all, but I gave him the opportunity to opt out of some of the small tasks I wanted done, but instead he used astronomical estimate numbers to get out of doing small work, when he could have just said "we don't do small jobs like this." I would have serious reservations about using this company and I would absolutely second guess any estimate that they gave you! Get another estimate as it seems they want to take advantage of people who are willing to pay who can and to gauge those who are not willing to question or get a second opinion. How this company go glowing reviews is beyond me. Don't use them or of you do, Demand the reasoning behind the estimates. Another fascinating annoyance was when he came he, no less than 6 or seven times, answered a pager, saying, "I am with a customer right now," to the point I know he had no idea what work I wanted him to do. As I was telling him and he followed me writing don numbers at wreckless abandon. AWFUL! Ok here is the estimate $200 dollars to remove a series of 10 paving stones. ok. $2,400 Troubleshoot a drip system on a 10 ft long 2ft wide by 10ft long 2ft wide flower bed. Ridiculous! $1,200 to add paving stone, moved from side yard (ten from above) to an existing walking path. Absurd! By the way $300.00 for materials. Really? The grand total $4775.00. Laughable! This is the second contractor I have contacted. The first one From Angie's list did not show up! Is this just bad luck? I'll try again today. We will see?

Excellent. Very professional, knowledgeable, punctual, cleaned up after the trimming. All the trees that were trimmed belonged to neighbors...cleaned up their yard and very careful about trimming the trees neatly and attractively. Perfectly satisfied.

I had to schedule this over the phone after finding them on Angie's list. They were able to give me a quote and do the work promptly. Results were good and the area was cleaned up afterwards. They also came back to repair a sprinkler leak that the work caused.

Simply awesome! Aly came to our home on the weekend to provide an estimate in person. He wrote the estimate as we walked through the yard and answered my questions. He and his team are very professional. I liked that he provided me with a packet of information that include his licensing/insurance info, BBB info, awards received, etc. I verified everything online and it was all legit. After reading his reviews on Angie's list and meeting him in person, I didn't bother with getting any additional quotes from other companies. I called the next day to schedule the work for two days later. The arrived this morning (maybe 6 or so guys) and got to work. They were working on multiple trees at once, while another guy hauled/chipped. It was so well coordinated. It took just over 3 hours to complete the job. One of the trees was nearly 12" in diameter and just about 18" from my home (and just about 5' from my neighbor). They easily dismantled the tree using their bucket to lower branches as they were cut. Pretty cool to see. And, when all was done, they used a blower to clean up any remaining leaves (and also thoroughly cleaned my driveway and the street). You couldn't even tell they had been here. We have more tree work to do later in the year and I will definitely use Aly again. Worth every penny.

Always provides excellent service. Always on-time. Always has a full crew so they can work on multiple trees simultaneously and minimize time on site. Trimming done properly with appropriate equipment. Has a bucket truck for really high jobs. Cleans up thoroughly.

7 people from Aly's showed up on time. Alys crew trimmed and skinned them, checked with me to see if it was to my satisfaction, did a few more branches for me, cleaned up their mess (even pulling a few weeds up for me) and WOW. You know they aren't the cheapest, but I would hire them again in a heartbeat. WELL DONE Aly's! They were done in about 2 hours. We made sure and tipped the entire crew because they deserved it. He would be even more successful if he made his schedule/calendar more reliable. The crew was fine and worked swiftly and efficiently and cleaned up before leaving.
