Aly's Tree Trimming Pruning & Yard Clean-Up

Arrived a bit later than expected due to previous customer adding on work. However, they made it up in both speed and quality of service. The mulberry tree and bottle brush hadn't been trimmed in years. Both needed to be trimmed off roof, which was my main objective. The great shaping and lacing of the trees was more than expected. The final product was really nice. They were quick, cleaned up, and gave me plenty of good advice on some additional trees. You couldn't even tell the stump was ever there. All that and they came in a little lower than their own estimate! I will be using them again.

The overall project went very smoothly.

Everything went very well. I had to remind them once to work on the fence line first as another contractor was waiting to install a new fence after the roots were removed. They promptly halted tree removal and had someone start working on the fence line. I failed to inform them of a water line under one of the trees and the stump grinder hit it. They were very helpful and apologetic about this incident, although the situation was handled a little less professionally. It was my fault for not informing them of the pipe. We got the water shut off after a few minutes and I had someone else come out to repair the pipe later in the day. They cleaned everything up and the yard looks great now. Very friendly and accommodating crew.

It was a waste of money. First of all, Aly himself did not show up to do the job but sent 6 of his employees. Even though the tree trimming was just a very small part of the job, that's all the employees had expertise in. They didn't know anything about trimming and pruning and told us as much. They repeatedly asked my husband how to do the work we were hiring them to do. In the end, we decided not to have them do half the work we originally wanted them to because we feared they would mess things up even more. In short, Aly told us he and his team could do a job that they really weren't qualified to do. They only thing they did well was to trim the tree which is really all they were qualified to do.

They came out and did an excellent job. They finished quickly and cleaned up very well. I was very impressed with the quality of the work that they did for me.

We liked them. It was on a holiday weekend and they were very prompt with the service. The estimate and the work occurred on the same day and it was done well.

They came with truck and the mulch machine. They cut the tree down and hauled the bigger pieces away. They mulched the roots up and then cleaned up the yard. This is a family organization and they work to please.

They arrived on time, did the job they promised, were courteous, helpful and answered all my questions. I'm very pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again.

Aly came out to give an estimate the same day I called. The workers were out the next day. They did a great job. The yard was cleaner after they left than it was before they did the work. Our palm tree is huge and not easy to trim. We had the tree trimmed 3 years ago for twice the price. And, the job they did was not that great. I am really impressed with Aly and the crew that worked today.

These guys are GREAT! They call back fairly promptly, they come when they say they will come, or they call if they are running a little late. They do a great job and cause hardly any intrusion while doing it. They took down a dead pine right next to the house without leaving any marks on the house, and they even managed to spare the shrub that was growing all around the base of the tree. This review covers two times I've had them out, one bill was $1200 and the other was $1000. I'll hire them every time from now on.

The crew arrived around 9 am and they worked all day. We were shocked and amazed with the final result. The tree looked amazing! We never thought it could look so beautiful. They cleaned up every stray branch and twig. We were very pleased with Aly and his crew and highly recommend them.

Project went well. They came in with a crew of about 4 and removed the trees in less than hour.

The project took about 6 hours. The crew came over at 9:30 and finished cleaning up by 4. The crew, supervised by Nino, worked very carefully and efficiently. They noted that our water main was very close to the stump and avoided digging too deep. They recommended having Aly come back over to advise on a replacement tree and to dig down farther. I will most likely have Aly come back over to discuss a new tree in the near future.

I was extremely impressed with Aly's professionalism. He arrived on time and wrote out every thing as we talked. He gave me the estimate and a copy of his license, certification, insurance, etc. His estimate for the maple was $975. An arborist our gardener works with was going to charge $2,500. I got a third estimate from another arborist on Angie's list due to this huge discrepancy, and their estimate was approximately $150 less than Aly's. Our gardener thought Aly did a great job, and was impressed by how thoroughly his crew cleaned up. Also, a few months ago, our neighbor asked if a tree trimmer they were hiring could trim back the part of our Chinese Maple that was touching their roof and they would pay for it. It was a horrible experience. They did not protect the lawn and other smaller trees and plants. I vowed never to let just anyone touch our trees again.

We've had our trees trimmed by a company whose prices kept going up and lately the sales pressure has increased, so we started looking elsewhere and tried out Angie's List. Aly came out to do the estimate and it was significantly lower than our previous company. And although we were happy with the quality of our previous tree work, Aly's was even better. The trees are beautifully shaped, thinned, and exactly how we described the work. Aly and Nino were very easy to talk to and come to an agreement on the details. We actually used this job as an "intro" to their work and have another job to be done, and we will definitely use Aly's. Outstanding work, great to work with, and good price. After the job the cleanup was perfect, in fact better than that: they left the property looking cleaner than when they arrived. Aly's will definitely be doing our future tree work. I marked "Responsiveness" a 'B' because I had to call a couple of times to get a schedule update.

The crew of 5 showed up as promised at 9 AM with a large crane like truck and another truck attached to a wood chipper. The team leader confirmed with me and hubby on what was to be done before they started the chainsaw. They were hardworkers and did a wonderful job handling two trees that have not had extensive pruning in the last ten years. They did cut back so that the tree can grow back like an umbrella rather than something created by Dr. Seuss. Our yard is basking in sunshine. The only damage we had were a few ground plants that were stepped on or smashed from falling wood (something we expected would happen). The only glitch was a communication problem. I had an agreement via phone with Aly to remove some branches that was not listed in the work order and with no additional charge. The info was not relayed to his crew, but the matter was resolved quickly with no hassle. Also, they did an immaculate job cleaning after themselves. No yard duty for me for a few weeks!

I am very pleased with the work. The tree that they pruned looks much better than before, it looks better than I thought it could. They cleaned up the job site very well. The workers were very courteous. When I got the estimate, there was a second tree I wanted pruned. The owner, Aly, advised me that tree should only be pruned in cold weather. I plan to hire this company again when the weather is right for pruning the second tree.

They were outstanding! They came and gave me an estimate the same day that I called. They then did the work two days later, they were just great!

Excellent service, very prompt, hard working, did an outstanding job of pruning our trees. Cleaned up after themselves very well, left the trees and the property looking great. I will definitely be using them again in the spring. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Aly came out and gave me a proposal along with his certifications, insurance info and information about his company. It was a no pressure sales pitch. The price was reasonable and his track record on Angie's List was excellent so I went ahead. A few days later, a crew of about six guys showed up with some serious tree trimming tools, truck with boom and cherry picker, root grinders, chain saws and a chipper. They trimmed and shaped all the contracted trees and removed the dead trees and stumps. The oak tree which caused me so many problems was cut back to the fence line and shaped beautifully. They put a tarp across the pool and didn't even get a leaf in it. The clean up was immaculate. These guys really know what they are doing. I was completely satisfied with the job. I recommend Aly's without reservation.
