Aly's Tree Trimming Pruning & Yard Clean-Up

All the work was done carefully and unhurridly, and the people are very pleasant.

I was able to describe over the phone what I needed done, I was not home when he came to look at the project but he left a written estimate and copy of his business license and proof of insurance-very professional. I am very happy with the work, the trees were nicely pruned and shaped. Cleanup was first class more than I expected. I will call him again and recommend him to others.

Punctual, professional and responsive. You can tell these folks have pruned a few thousand trees. Would hire them in a New York Minute.

Woke up to tree toppled over onto driveway, covering our auto. Determined tree service help needed. Checked Angie's List. Found Aly's with great ratings AND was close to us. Called, Aly answered, was able to come by that morning for estimate. (With a storm the night before, they were plenty busy!) Agreed to the service and price, and a crew was here within another hour or so. Using chain saws, etc, they removed the (now horizontal) tree, (including to carefully lift it off the car) chipped it into mulch, ground out the stump, swept the entire area, and even hosed off my (now uncovered) car. After commiserating with me about the extent of car damage from the fallen tree, they left the area very clean and neat. (Car suffered only hood damage.) Were extremely professional. Note, the local TV crew was also here recording every step of the Great Tree Disaster and Recovery!!

I changed the date of the pruning to coincide with our garbage pick up. They were very accomodating. Did a great job and cleaned up the area afterward - even the dried leaves on the ground.

Got Aly's name from Angies list with good recommendations. I called and got an appointment for estimate. Aly showed up promptly, did estimate and also had copies paperwork for insurance etc. Workday crew showed up on time, exellent job and everything done quickly. While cost was pricey it was worth it. Work was done right and complete. I will use them again.

Robert (Aly's son, I believe) arrived on a Sunday morning to thin out a Holly Oak in our front yard. He brought 3 kids with him, who were 8-10 years old, I believe. I think two of them were siblings of his. One of the kids climbed up in the tree on a harness and helped mostly by removing suckers. The other two stayed on the ground and stood around most of the time, occasionally helping hand up tools or raking away some of the cuttings. Robert used a tall ladder and a 10' pole trimmer to do the work. The kids had hard hats, but no eye protection, but they didn't keep the hard hats on all the time, though to be fair, the cuttings were all relatively small. The kid in the tree lost his hard hat at one point, but never got it back on. I'm very happy with the work that was done, as the tree looks beautiful now, but I didn't think it was appropriate to be bringing such young kids to the job site.

Made a prompt appointment to give estimate.Gave written estimate at that time. Called another service that made an appointment and did not show up. Three workers arrived at planned time , did a professional job and piled all the clippings neatly at the curb where they were picked up by the garbage company. Original estimate included a neighbors tree that was hanging over our property but the neighbor chopped the tree severely the day before so that was subtracted from the bill.

Very satisfied with the work. Excellent job on shaping the palm trees and thinning out the others. The crew was very good at protecting the side of the house from scraping the new exterior paint when they hauled the debris from the backyard to the front. Cleaned up everything nicely. I'm a happy customer.

They were very clean and I like them a lot. They did some extra work for the same price. I think the price was a little bit on the higher side, but, they did a great work.

They put in a new lawn in the backyard and it is beautiful. I think they were a little expensive, but, I was satisfied with the work.

Aly knew the names of each tree. He understood what I wanted done. His estimate was extremely fair. I had one for a little less and another for almost double. The workers showed up on time and worked very neatly. When they finished I loved the shape of each tree. I'll definitely use them again as our trees grow like weeds. One point - Aly does not accompany the workers so I had to explain to them what I wanted. The foreman understood what I wanted and executed the job perfectly.

The tree service company came out by nine in the morning and finished by three in the afternoon. The crew consisted of five people. They had a cherry picker and a chipper. Their price was expensive, but it wasn't just people climbing up the tree with a chain saw. They had the lift. They charged extra for the haul. The tree was so big that the city requires a permit to remove the tree completely, so they just cut down as much as the city allows. The clean-up was good.

This is the second time we have used Aly's. They are very honest with their assessment of what needs to be done. They make suggestions on what can be done and their recommendations seems very knowledgeable. We got an estimate and decided which trees we were going to tackle for now. After we called Aly's and told him to go ahead, they were on our property within a few days and had the whole job done efficiently, cleanly and professionally.

They were prompt. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. When anything went into our neighbor?s backyard, they immediately went over and cleaned all that up. Our neighbors had no complaint. They cleaned up everything impeccably.

I met with Aly on a Friday to walk my property and complete an estimate on exactly what I wanted done. By the time we completed walking the property, Aly had the quote for my review detailing each item and cost. Aly also recommended I not remove a particular tree due to its value to the property. Aly indicated he could schedule a crew as early as Sunday (two days later) and they promptly arrived on time as scheduled. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Aly's business is a family run business with multiple family members working onsite including Aly himself. Aly's crew finished the job by thoroughly cleaning up after they were done.

Aly came out and bid the job on the spot. He then came back twice to help me finalize plans (Aly is an arborist, and was thus able to make better recommendations on which trees to remove and which to save). Aly then showed up the morning of the job and walked through the entire job with his crew (he brought a very large crew - over 10 people). They completed the job in a single day (although it was a very long day - started at 9am and didn't finish up until after 5pm). They then cleaned up very nicely at the end of the day.

Aly's men arrived on time and were very efficient. They were skilled and had good equipment.

Overall it went really well. Aly came out to give me the estimate - it was one of three that I got and I chose it because he listened to what I wanted, gave a reasonable price, and also because he could fix the fence and take out the stumps. The other service I liked couldn't do those things, so that would have required more estimates and more trips. On the scheduled day, the crew showed up on time and went to work. They did the work exactly as promised, and were courteous and efficient. The only issue was that in taking out the stumps they broke an irrigation pipe that was buried under the roots. There was no above-ground evidence as to there being a pipe there. They told me they were not responsible but described how easy it would be to fix. It did turn out to be easy to fix - it took me a visit to OSH, $15, and about 60 minutes of my time - most of it digging down to find out where the pipe went. So, except for this, it was perfect, and it's hard to blame them. I particularly respected that they went out of their way to tell me that it was broken. The fence work involved cutting a hole for the tree trunk in the bottom of the fence and putting another piece of wood along the bottom to brace it. The "fence guy" discussed options with me and did a great job.

They were late arriving until I called to confirm. Did a fabulous job. Put tarps over our bushes so they didn't get damaged in cutting down the pine tree. Hand carried branches from the huge tree in our back yard. Tied ropes to the branches, so they would not fall in our neighbors yards. Raked and swept up afterward. Really impressive work!

Aly came out to give me an estimate, when I realized that I wanted him to quote me on additional work, he came back the same day. We had quite a bit of work to have done...a large row of oleanders to take out, two citrus trees to prune, a pistachio tree to prune, in our backyard we had a tree over two stories tall that they needed to get into and prune, other bushes that needed to be cut down as they had grown too tall, and some trees whose branches were hitting the roof. He was able to have a crew come out the next afternoon and they completed the work by evening. They were professional, got the job done in the way that they promised, did all of the work that they committed to, and left everything really clean. My only thought of what I would have done differently would I should have been there, I needed to be at work while they were there, as there was some aesthetics that I would have done a bit differently. However, I trust that they did what was best for my trees.

Quite well - this was a positive experience. Cannot do yard work now due to long term illnesss. Aly contacted by my wife, she fave task list (see services performed), scheduled a date and time. Aly's team showed up on time, did the work very well, cleaned up the yard (should take before and after pix). Goal was to have yard in good enough condition that a company with Cut and go services could keep the yard up economically. Success by all standards. Excellent work

There was a little confusion about the meeting time for the original estimate, but once he arrived, Aly was very professional. We obtained quotes from other people, but we weren't quite sure if they understood what we were saying and what we wanted. Aly spoke clearly and understood exactly what we wanted. Once we agreed on services and pricing with Aly, he was able to schedule us the the very next day. If the need arises, we will definitely use their services again. We'll also recommend them.

The men working seemed diligent, and got it all done in one day. They were prompt and courteous and took care of everything we discussed for the estimate. I have recommended them to friends & neighbors.
