Bahram responded to my call immediately and we scheduled an appointment time. He showed up on time and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He finished the job quickly and it looks great. He even vacuumed up the area after he was finished. I will definitely use Altap Electrical again.

During a recent heat spell, I came home from work around 6:30 and found the circuit breaker had tripped to our wall-mounted AC unit. I tried resetting the breaker, but it wouldn't reset. I unplugged the AC and tried again, but still could not reset it. In a bit of a panic, as we were having guests that night and the house was at 87 degrees, I searched for an electrician that was still open and found Altap Electrical, called, and spoke directly with Bahram. I explained the situation and he said he could be there within an hour. Because he knew it was the AC, he said he would do whatever he could to get it repaired that night. He showed up on time and found the problem was a bad circuit breaker. He was able to replace it in a few minutes and we were able to cool the house before our guests arrived. He did a great job and we were very pleased.

The staff was punctual and knew their work. They were prepared and had their equipment. They overall did a good job and I would recommend to them to a friend.

I actually found Bahram via Yelp (before I signed up for Angie's list). He is so nice and very professional. As this was the first time I bought a house and had some idea of what lighting I wanted, he went through each room and gave me suggestions. I took nearly all his suggestions. I had 6 recessed lights in the living room, 4 in the kitchen (and had to get the fluorescent ones taken down), 5 in each bedroom, one in a hallway and one at the front door. I was worried about having to repaint and things (since the house was newly painted), but Bahram kept saying don't worry. His guys finished everything in 2 days, and cleaned everything up. Now the bedrooms have vaulted/slanted ceilings which another contractor said recessed lights could not be put in their, but they did a fantastic job and I did not have to do any patchwork there! Everyone who saw was amazed they could do that. And he put all the outlets exactly where I wanted them. And, Bahram, the whole time, was ALWAYS available. He always picks up his phone (he has 2 just in case). He always answers emails at 11pm at night (I guess when he finally gets home)...so best to just call. He is so nice and really put my mind at ease. AND, his prices were reasonable, quoted less then the 2 other contractors I got quotes from. My friend, who has done a lot of remodeling in his home, said I got a great deal. Get him! You will not regret it! He is, from now on, my goto person for all my electrical needs. :D

They were always prompt, professional, kind, and courteous. They were also very patient with me as I had a lot of questions. I called the owner of the company a lot as I did not always understand what was being done, and he was very patient. A couple of the plugs had to be moved to accommodate larger appliances and his workers arrived promptly and moved the plugs. They also cleaned up after themselves.
