Fiberglass coated our pool...many staining problems...took them 2 years to repair problem...got the run around all that time...had couping and tile work done around the pool...this was also a nightmare to deal with...sons tend to be rude when you point out delays and problems...Mr Allen is just full of excuses...weekly pool service mediocre...would not use again or recommend to anyone

Did a great job all around. It's a messy process sanding down and smoothing the fiberglass (clouds of dust) but I don't think it could have been done any better. Family-owned company which is one of few doing fiberglass refurbishing. Because of the smooth new surface, we were able to keep pool comfortably warmer this summer using just a solar blanket, with absolutely no algae.

We were very happy with them. They are so delightful to work with. I checked all of their references were wonderful. They did a fantastic job and all of the employees are great. They are very honest. There was some work they ended up not having to do and they deducted the cost from the total without us having to ask. The prep work was just outstanding. I recommended them to a friend and I rarely recommend people to anyone.

Company did a good job of refinishing the pool and install a new Light. About 2 weeks later I noticed that the caulking was starting to separate between the decking and the Tile. I noticed Allens Pool Service and they came right out and fixed it.

The technician was great. He arrived on time and was very professional. He cleaned the pool until it sparkled andt hen he installed the new light and fixed the leak. He spent quality time doing this so I felt I got my money's worth.

The workers came out to install a pump to drain the old pool; came back to support the sides of the pool so it would not collapse on itself, sanded, smoothed out the old lumpy, bumpy surfaces, set and grouted the new tile, sprayed on and added the new fiberglass system in several layers. This process took a week and a day or two to accomplish. They also protected the existing surfaces, swept up and blew away any debris, leaving everything clean each time they were here. From the time the workers showed up each day to the time they left, everyone was on task until the day's work was finished.

They did a very good job, they were very well educated in there work,I had a slide on the border of the pool that was a little old and they were good to remove it and take it away from my property for me. It is a family owned company, they were very friendly, and professional. They were all very informative and honest. As far as cleaning up after themselves, they were top notch every time that they came out and worked on my pool. It was not cheap but i feel i got my money's worth.

They came out and gave me an estimate. They said it would take five days of which was correct. They had pictures and comments of other customers. They were sure that things were picked up and gate always closed after they were done for the day. I would have liked to know when they were coming and how long they would be here. They were very nice, helpful, courteous and friendly and did things that they really did not have to do. They were up front in the payment. I had to put down a deposit when I hired them. On the first visit I paid half of the bill and when all things were done the remainder of the bill. Things turned out great and I was pleased with their work.

The job started in March and was completed in early April as scheduled. The workmanship and cleanup was wonderful and we were very pleased. In May or June we noticed that water was inside our pool light. My husband went to the office to request that someone come and look at this. After several canceled appointments and a few weeks, someone did come out. We were told that it could be fixed without draining the pool, and that they would schedule it. The scheduled date was canceled as were several more after that. We've called and been to the office numerous times in an attempt to get this fixed. On February 19, 2008 I sent an email and have not received a reply as yet (March 3, 2008). While we loved the staff and quality of workmanship, the lack of attention to this quite small issue has us completely frustrated! We went with a family business as such businesses generally truly care. Now we don't know what to think!

The work was good. They showed up and did what they had to do, but there were some problems after they finished with the pool. We called to let them know of the problems and they didn't return the call at all. We've been trying to get hold of them and they're not responding. We even wrote them a letter and explained about the trouble and asked them to come back out to fix it and we haven't heard anything. They did the job back in July and we haven't heard from them since. We don't know why. We definitely do not recommend them. They did well at first and then just forgot about us. They're not very responsive at all and we wont use them again.
