+ -1 moreThe job was a complete disgrace. The workmanship was so shoddy that the material could not be repaired, but required replacement. The contractors refused to take responsibility for the poor workmanship. Upon our initially hiring the company in June 2006 to perform some framing, they represented that they had Workman's comp and all necessary State Board requirements. At that time, the CSLB showed this to be true. Upon re-checking w/the CSLB in January 2007, when AAB refused to warranty their work, their CSLB profile had been updated to reveal that there are no employees and there is no Workman's comp - EFFECTIVE JUNE 2006!. The owner was only present at our job 5% of the time. He only sent out employees - which according to CSLB he was not allowed to do. I had to replace all the work this company had performed on our exterior. The sheathing they installed was repairable - but it was very extensive to repair it.
Description of Work: Exterior siding, cement fiberboard. Exterior siding also included a 'bellyband' located at the base, just above the foundation. AAB recommended an Azek product. Exterior Sheathing - application of exterior plywood for sub-base of siding. Exterior Porch Soffit.

+ -1 moreI was very happy with the work done. They were very timely and professional. They came out right away and fixed my fence after it had blown over after the big storm. My backyard gate was also falling down and they fixed it. They did very nice work. I would refer them to anyone!
Description of Work: Repaired the backyard fence and gate after a storm.

+ -1 moreSubstructure was built OK, but TimberTech decking was not properly installed and the railing was a disaster. Very poor quality wood and poorly(and incompletely) primed.
Description of Work: Remove old redwood deck, substructure and railing and replace with new pressure treated substructure, TimberTech decking and a primed, fir railing.
