very good -- showed up on time, if not early. Easy to talk to the man, very professional, asked key questions, and very quick to give recommendation. (the issue was simple too) He did his work, seemed motivated to do a good job. One thing to fix: wear the shoe covers, so customer feels better about coming into the house, and being on carpet.

Rich was a really personable and informative person. We figured out all the alternatives we had, especially with respect to cost effectiveness, and did a great job. We even signed up for the warranty plan with them. They are a bit on the higher end, but the quality and professionalism is outstanding.

On the spot after looking around the house for a few minutes, he wrote a few suggestions down with a total estimate of $30k. No explanation of how much each piece would be, where the work was needed, or if it is mandatory for safety or just suggested. I'm horrified how quickly and unprofessional the service was. I called to speak to the manager, the lady who answered the phone seemed horrified too. Telling me that is not how they do business, and shed have a manager call me that afternoon. Two days later, I haven't heard from anyone. I'll call again tomorrow. I want the estimate redone or my money back.

They did a good job. The only thing is I think they're very expensive. They seem to always add on a few more things. But, they did a good work. I think their price was a little high. I would probably not use them again simply because I thought their price was a little high.

Saw deal on Angie's List for $99 for $200 worth of work. Looked up number and called directly because drain backed up. They confirmed they could come out today and would honor the $99 deal. When the operator discovered that my drain was backed up, she said an $89 show up fee would be added. I went elsewhere. Plan on extra fees if you need services soon.. This is probably not very fair to the vendor because I could not wait the 3 days for the vendor to get back to me to schedule future service, did not go through Angie's List, and only used Angie's as a reference.

Great! The company called to say they'd be out at 12:30. They came at 12:30!! Bobby installed the faucet. Looks great! No more leaks!

It was also identified that there was seepage in several areas of the cast iron pipe. This pipe is the original pipe from the time our house was build in 1955. A restoration company was called out to vacuum out the water and sanitize. The plumbers then replaced the sewer pipe between the master bathroom where the trouble started and the kitchen which is in the middle of our ranch style house. This was in addition to performing other pipe replacements, and correcting improper fittings. The plumbers were eventually able to find the source of the blockage in the pipes. Upon seeing the condition of the old sewer pipes which were changed under the house, we decided to have the other half of the piping replaced. Although there was a substantial increase in cost as a result, we chose to be proactive, given the age of the pipes. The lead plumber, Charles Saulas, was very knowledgeable and explained each and every situation he encountered and recommendations for addressing issues. He made sure that the results were of high quality. He kept me informed of progress on an ongoing basis and never pressured me in any way. In total, the job lasted more than seven days. The pipes are warrantied for 40 years and I have peace of mind that we will have no major plumbing issues in the future.

PLUMBER REMOVED THE OLD FAUCET & REPLACED IT WITH THE FAUCET I HAD PURCHASED. All went well until after the plumber left & then I noticed a small gap where the pull-out hose went back into the main housing. I called the office & another plumber came out. He spoke personally to a Moen representative & was told to move the weight further up on the hose. He did this, but the gap didn't change. The Moen representative said they would send a second weight to add to the hose under the sink. When it came, I called the office again. Another appointment was set for the plumber to come out. When he came, he put on the second weight, but again the gap remained. The Moen company finally emailed me, saying the gap was normal & that ended the conversation with them. Mike Council's company did all they could, coming out three times. They were very helpful & patient. I couldn't have had a better experience with any other company.

They performed the job very well though they had to work 2 extra days than they estimated. My biggest complaint is that they are very pricey, which is why I would not hire them again

Arrived on time. Did work efficiently despite the down door.

They do plumbing, electric, heating, venting and air conditioning. They did a total re-plumbing about four ago including everything under the house plus the incoming and outgoing water as well as the ditches across the yard. It cost a bundle but they did a good job. He is doing the work on the toilets to prevent future problems. They have a price book so the price varies depending on the kind of work that is being done. Their punctuality is very good.

they are very professional and do excellent work. I have used them, exclusively, for nearly ten years. They used to have a printed sheet with the cost of every type of job they do. They don't use this anymore, and their pricing has gone through the roof. WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR ME ANYMORE!

Three trips were required by the Mike Counsil Plumbing Company. However, I believe Moen has a design defect for this particular faucet. The extra weight didn't make a difference in the "gap". Both plumbers were on time, very professional & extremely helpful. I appreciated their work & concern for my problem.

Well done. Leak had persisted after 2 previous plumbers failed to repair the leak.

The details are in the above. I understand what happened any regret that I had to go through the process twice and fill out the forms and the time that took. But all is well that ends well. Dan McCorquodale

They came out on an initial $99 deal to fix what seemed like a simple toilet handle change. He spent over an hour trying to get the new handle to work correctly, finally accomplishing the task. When a week later it wasn't working, they came back out at no charge to re-fix it. I would absolutely use this company again. They we're responsive, on time, friendly and took pride in doing the job correctly.

Previously had entire water line to house replaced about 5-6 years ago but apparently that plumbing company did NOT do a top notch job and a connection popped a small leak - a leak however that was large enough to push water to the surface and to push my water bill sky high by the time I noticed it. Abel V. from Mike Counsil Plumbing & Electric came out and isolated the problem and provided a reasonable estimate to fix the sloppy work of the previous plumbing company. He even provided a temporary workaround for me so that there was only a very brief interruption of water service to the house while their team worked. Even with the concrete work and the lawn digging involved, the work was done in one day. I'm very happy with the results and would recommend Mike Counsil (and Abel V. in particular) for any future plumbing work.

The job went well. They were responsive, punctual and professional. Kept me informed of the wrork being done and provided pictures before and after. They cleaned every day before leaving the house. I would hire them again.

Arrived right on time. Looked at what we wanted to do. Assessed whether additional parts would be needed (they were). And provided a detailed bid. Completed the work in the amount of time he had estimated.

[This rating is long overdue.] Two years ago our house needed extensive plumbing work including repiping (including recirculating hot water) and waste lines (inside and out to the street) and a new water heater. Several estimates were obtained from vendors found in the Yellow Pages. Mike Counsil's estimate was not the least expensive but was the best "bang for the buck". The work took about two months to complete. All senior personnel were courteous to the max and journeymen at their trade. The various work crews were EXCELLENT and the site foreman supervising everything (and working too!) was SUPER. Fast forward to the present. I thought there was a leak in a 2nd story waste line. One call to Mike Council and someone was sent to evaluate the problem with no hesitation with the statement, "Whatever it is, we'll fix it!" Turned out there was no leak and the inspection holes were patched, all at no cost to me. WOW! Bottom line. I highly recommend Mike Counsil for all your plumbing needs. That's who I'll call next time for any plumbing or electrical work, large or small, needed on my house. They're #1.
