Caution Ladies...get a second estimate before using this company. I was looking to replace my countertops with quartz and add a subway tile back splash in my small galley kitchen. The person who answered my call was very polite (which is why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1). ALAN K. Came out to measure and give an estimate. Her took two measurements and wrote some noted. Quoted me $14,600 which he said included the labor, countertops, backsplash and new drywall. (Why would I need new drywall when I didn’t have existing backsplash). He asked me did the quote sound reasonable. I asked for a written copy of the quote and told him I would need to get back to him. He said he doesn’t give copies of estimates so he wrote the numbers on his business card. He then said he would take off 10%. I told him I don’t make like to make decisions like this without getting additional estimates. He continued to try to pressure me into committing right then and there which made me feel uncomfortable and was beginning to make me mad. I decided to go the Romarts in San Leandro. I’m glad I did. I was able to select the quartz and tile I wanted. The employees were amazing. The quality of work was excellent. They even finished on time. And I saved $8400. Check out my review of Romarts.
