Description of Work: Foundation work/ replacement of HVAC tubes under the house

Description of Work: I used the services of A & G Construction. They did general house remodeling, kitchen, bath, flooring construction. They also put in new windows and new doors.

Description of Work: I hired them to remodel my ktichen and bath.

Description of Work: Gary remodeled a very old bathroom. He had to remove an old tile bath tub that was reinforced with rebar. Very difficult. I gave them some ideas I had for the bathroom they pick out the tile. It was perfect. I wanted soemthing beachy. They found accent tiles with tropical scenes & fish. Very good tile work.

Description of Work: Gary and his experienced and expert team completed a first floor remodel that included the entire kitchen, family room fireplace, wet bar, full bath and flooring. I had them return to work in my master bedroom and a bonus room. Downstairs, we took the family room & kitchen down to studs. Dan built custom cabinets to my specification, which exceeded my vision. The design Gary developed for my fireplace and wet bar were better than magazine quality. Javier created a custom tile pattern in the bathroom that is unique and beautiful. The hardwood floor installed over the first floor is warm, inviting and easy to clean. Upstairs, the master bedroom fireplace was rebuilt to coordinate with the downstairs fireplace. Gary added custom cabinets and a window seat in the master and bonus rooms that made the rooms cozy and efficient. He even installed the TV in a little used wall. Each project was treated by Gary and his team as if it was in their own homes! I looked for a contractor I could work with and who brought his own design abilities to improve on mine for over 8 years. Gary was able to come in, see my vision and enhance it to the point that my husband comes home every night to tell me how much he loves the downstairs! I was able to explain my ideas to Gary in a somewhat fuzzy way, then he took it to the next level. For example, when an outside door was not available with as much glass as I wanted, he custom built it! I love to cook so I have tons of spices. Gary and Dan custom built a spice roll out drawer for my spices. The ability to improve on my ideas was an area Gary excels at! The other area of concern for me was how clean to job site was during work. We chose to stay in the house during our remodel. It was easy to block off a main hallway such that the upstairs was isolated from the work occurring downstairs. Each day, Gary's team broke off early enough to sweep, dust and vacuum the work area such that we had very little dirt and dust in the rest of the house. I was very happy with their effort! Full disclosure: I was more interested and driven by quality over quantity and time. I had a vision in my mind of how I wanted to live in the rooms Gary remodeled. I was able to make changes on the fly with the A&G team appearing as if this was no problem! In fact, I had a coat closet under the stairs that was a complete waste of space. I mentioned to Gary I would like to create a wine closet. I believe his plan and implementation is beyond belief - now, it is one of the best aspects of the house! I wanted to use the left over granite and tile, so Gary figured out how to change the counter tops and floor in my laundry room. Overall, Gary's quality of work is beyond approach. Another hot button for me is communications. I am OK with just about anything, as long as you tell me. Gary, Dan, Javier, Manuel and the other guys always called me if they were going to be late, not show up, etc. I was need left at home wondering if they were coming and when they'd arrive. It was a very rare day that they didn't show up. Even if they were waiting for materials, they always found something to keep the job going. I as delighted with their proactive communications. I have 3 pets: 2 indoor only cats and a puppy. I was very afraid of the cats getting out, but this was never an issue. My puppy fell in love with Gary; so much so that I think she would go live with him if she could! The team was respectful of the animals, even letting the puppy out into the yard if they felt she needed to go.

Description of Work: AG Construction remodeled my master bathroom. It involved replacing fixtures, tiling, plumbing work, and lighting and electrical work.
