A & B DOORS INC

When I was doing the reference checks for my contractor (who is doing an amazing job so far) one of his previous customers had specifically mentioned "don't use A&B doors" saying that they screwed up his order and he questioned the ethics of the company. So I was somewhat apprehensive to even talk to them. I went by to get some information mostly about windows, but also about doors. The salesperson my contractor had told me I should talk to, Mario Azevedo, wasn't available so another guy named Mike helped us. Well, "helped" is too strong a word. Getting information from him was like pulling teeth. The conversation was slow, labored, and not helpful at all. Their showroom seems more geared towards doors, as they have the window display crammed in the back. The windows that he started describing were ones they didn't have on display. He repeatedly had to go check in catalogs or look up answers to the questions (which seemed pretty basic to me, I would expect a competent salesman to know these basic things off the top of his head). I had started the conversation off with something to the effect of, "I was sent here by my contractor to get information about windows, I've never shopped for windows before so I'm not really sure where to start, can you help me?" and the question fell practically flat on the floor. At one point when I was waiting for him to research some question another customer walked in with a problem with her order where apparently something was ordered wrong and she wanted to know what the status of the replacement was. He was about as helpful to her as he had been to me. After about 30 minutes of this we just gave up and extracted ourselves from the place. Customer service is DEFINITELY not their strong point....

I was very pleased with the quality of the products and the installation. The worker did show up on time and brought the correct items that I ordered. It took him about one hour to install the new door and frame. I was a little discouraged from using them again because it took so long for the items I ordered to come in. I will be trying a different place because of that.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD, EXCELLENT! I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH ANY OF MY NEW WINDOWS. I WAS SATISFIED WITH EVERY ASPECT OF THIS COMPANY. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE I KNOW.

BUYING FROM KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE IN THE BUSINESS IS ENJOYABLE. THEY HAD MANY REGULAR AND CUSTOM STYLES TO CHOOSE FROM. THEIR SHOWROOM WAS A LITTLE CLUTTERED WHICH MAY TURN SOME PEOPLE OFF.

THIS COMPANY HAD A WIDE VARIETY OF DOORS TO CHOOSE FROM. THEY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CAN OFFER INFO TO HELP YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT DOOR. WE HAD OUR CONTRACTOR INSTALL THE DOOR, BUT A & B DOES HAVE INSTALLERS AS WELL.
