Skeel's Concrete Resurfacing

Jon Skeel was a pleasure to work with. I received several bids from other contractors, but Jon not only offered a fair price, but he also displayed the most experience and was helpful in assisting with our final selection. Jon and his crew were timely each and every day, worked non stop for an entire week, only taking small breaks in between, were neat and courteous throughout the process, leaving everything clean and orderly at the end of each day. Doing business with Skeel's Concerte Resurfacing was like working with a good friend or a family member. They were fantastic!! The only minor complaint that I have (it's really a compliment) is the consistent barrage of community neigbors asking for the contractors business card. Excellent work and a equally good experience. Skeel's was one of 3 bids and the only one I felt totally confident in using. I visited 2 previous customers and both looked great and the customers were very happy with the results. The job took 2 days and looks great. Would definitely use him again and recommend him.

Jon Skeel gave us last of 3 bids. He was the only one of the 3 that had Angie's ratings, but he only had one job that was rated. I felt a little nervous about that, but the other contractors did not have any. No other contractors had ratings. The first contractor was like a used car salesman and I couldn't wait until he left the house. The second was much better, but the samples he showed us didn't impress us. Jon was the 3rd and was very professional about presenting us with options and explaining the process. He also had some good looking samples that were also much larger than the others. You really need to see a large chunk to get an idea what a whole patio, sidewalk, or whatever will look like. This by no means was the deciding factor, but he also was the lowest price. We went to look at two jobs he had completed and talked to the homeowners. The work looked great. One looked brand new and when we asked how old it was, the homeowner said 5 years. We were amazed. The homeowners also said Jon was very professional. That sold us. Since we were a small job, he was able to schedule us about 10 days out. The whole job took 2.5 days. They were very meticulous and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Our neighbors are quite impressed. Additional note. Make sure your contractor knows what he/she is doing and has experience. Jon has been doing this for 12 years and the quality shows. A less than reputable or inexperienced contractor can mess it up. This process is not like pouring concrete. It is part science and part artistry. The only thing that concerned me at first was that Jon didn't return calls within an hour, but when I saw him working on our patio, I realized there is no time to stop and take calls once the process is started. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Mr. Skeel visited our home to give us an estimate and make suggestions. His estimated cost was exactly the final cost to us. His work is neat and professional.
