J&M Air Conditioning & Heating

Daniel was hired to do maintenance on a through-the-wall AC. Daniel was fully masked and gloved when he arrived. He clearly explained what he was doing and showed me how to do my own routine maintenance to prolong the life of my AC unit. He was very pleasant and personable, and our AC is blowing cold! We are extremely pleased and already scheduled another appointment to have our whole home AC serviced.

My wife and I love this company! We have had them replace systems in two different homes over a number of years. The equipment and the labor have been exemplary. We have an annual maintenance program and anytime we have a question or concern their response is timely. We have NEVER had a negative interaction with anyone at J&M. As a matter of fact, their employees are among the most polite and truly helpful I have met in the service industry. Kudos and thanks for a job well done, every time!

The entire job took 3 weeks to complete and I kept on having to call to remind them my job hadn’t been completed ( 3 weeks seemed like a lifetime during the coldest days of the year and you’re elderly) . Several different techs came over the house ( which were professional upon arrival) once they finally arrived. The last tech seemed very knowledgeable and got the job completed AND arrived on time. I was overall disappointed on the overall time it took to complete this job due to negligence.

They do good work at a reasonable price, not anything real super. They are responsive. They think outside the box, if you have some sort of problem that isn't some normal type of thing they can figure it out.

I felt it was sort of a bait and switch situation. The price changed as did the timing. I also had a situation at a restaurant where a waitress mentioned the same thing happened to her with this company, we couldn't believe and I feel that I let others know.

The technician did a thorough job of servicing my air conditioner. He cleaned the air conditioner and changed the air filter. I thought I would be charged extra because I got such a good deal through Angies List but that didnt happen; he kept to the price.

It was horrible experience but the companies we got from Angie's list help the experience turn into and perfect home.

I would highly recommend them. I have used them for years and years. I just call them and set up the appointment. I have had emergencies throughout the years, and they have come out immediately. I can call them and ask them questions about something like the thermostat and changing the battery.

Richard Flores is outstanding and does a great job. He analyzed the problem and then fixed it in a short amount of time. My air conditioner works great.

They said everything was running well. There were no additional fees associated with the Big Deal.

It went well. They cleaned everything up and repaired some problem issues. Out unit didn't need any coolant, just some minor repairs. Now it works well.

They did a fantastic job. They did the initial tune up, and then also applied the $69.00 to the additional work as well, which was exceptional. They were very nice and I was really impressed.

I like everything they have done over about 7 years except for vacuuming out the dirt out of the water outflow condensation pipe that goes from the garage to a pipe outside. They don't do this, and it is easy to do; I figured it out with youtube and did it on one of my rental homes under management. A few years ago, because the tech did not know to suction out the condensation overflow pvc pipe drain outside, they ended up telling me the condensation pipe waslogged and they installed an electric pump to divert the condensation a/c water another way. It looks stupid, cost me money, and was unnecessary. I am happy otherwise.

I’m not happy with them. They didn’t do work with me until last year and they have just been there to check on my air conditioning on my property and everything was fine. A week later, the air conditioner doesn’t work. After talking to another company, I had them fixed it. They went ahead and fixed it and they said they will not going to charge me a service charge. I had to pay for something with the coolant in the air conditioning but it’s something it had been that way all along. This is something that had been going that was not working at the time taking forever to cool and they said it’s just really hot but that wasn’t the case. I think their price is everybody else is. The quality was okay. They came right out. I don’t have any problems with that.

Mike McCue came out explained to me and the wife the difference between the new systems today and the old systems of yesterday, explain what HERS verification means and basically put it in terms that you understand, Mike did a complete measurement of the rooms kitchen bathroom laundry room living room,, of the house to get a total number of square feet and proceeded to tell us what we needed he did not try to pressure us into buying or overselling we already knew what we wanted seen that I had done some work on the Internet on new complete systems, the day of the insulation a crew of three guy showed up on time which was impressive and proceeded to take out the old system and start installing the new system, they put in brand-new ductwork new registers new return registers a total brand-new system Mike told us it would take 2 1/2 to 3 days he was dead on, the crew worked very cleanly took pride in their workmanship all went well, except for one mishap, while worker slipped up with the attic and came through the ceiling they were very apologetic yada yada yada, but my concern was that the worker was okay which he was after everything was cleaned up got a hold of the office the next morning they had a contractor out to fix the whole the ceiling everything went fine no problems did a superb job, we had the system in for 2 1/2 years now with no problems runs great summertime heat's great in the wintertime, I would definitely recommend JBS for all my heating and air-conditioning problems

5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!!!! I called for service on a Saturday when it was 110 degrees in Palm Springs. They were honest in telling me that they were booked until the next Tues instead of stringing me along. When they came out to the house they gave me an honest assessment and told me about a also alerted me to a rebate that was available. No pressure to do the work. They were very responsive always answering calls and keeping me up to date on the work. They are our designated A/C service company now. Thanks Jim and Neil!

I wouldn't use anybody else. They are polite, professional, on time, courteous and customer oriented. They went over and above. They were very very nice. They are very willing to help. Answered all questions regarding to air conditioner.
