Description of Work: Move my one bedroom house. Included big screen TV, bed, home entertainment center, chair with ottoman, many boxes of books, records, CDs, dishes, momentos, etc., 2 furniture size speakers.

Description of Work: I called this mover to ask if they could do what was a very small move. It was clear it wouldn't work as the minimum is four hours and we wouldn't need that kind of time. The mover complained about my calling to ask for such a small move, said I should just do it myself, and stated he couldn't understand why anyone would call with a move that small. I tried to explain that as someone who doesn't work for a mover, I couldn't know what his overhead etc. would be, just as an FYI. It never occurred to me that the size of the job would be a problem. I was in no way complaining about cost, and had simply said we wouldn't need the four hour minimum. He wished me good luck in the tersest way possible and hung up on me.

I selected this company based on favorable reviews in Angie's List and a detailed phone call with Tom Schifflea, the president, who took the time to answer all my questions and describe services and prices in detail. Services included estimating, scheduling, packing (primarily many boxes of books), loading a 14-foot truck cleverly so as to get all my furniture onto it, and unloading.

Description of Work: Local move from Eagle Rock to Altadena

Description of Work: Juan and Ruben showed on time at my townhouse in Rosemead and carefully wrapped each piece of furniture with moving blankets. They then loaded my bedroom furniture into their moving van. We drove to my mother's house in Monterey Park to pick up a houseful of furniture. Again, they were careful to wrap each piece of furniture against any damages. Juan, Ruben, and Marvin had to unload all the furniture and boxes and carry the each piece up a steep driveway in South Pasadena. It was a physically difficult move, but they did not hesitate to do a very professional job. They were careful to protect the front doors with moving blankets and they placed each piece of furniture exactly where we wanted them. They were easy to work with and made the entire move a very pleasant experience. We would not hesitate to use this company again in the future.

Description of Work: I used them for moving. They moved all of the large items that I couldn’t move myself. They moved all of the furniture and that sort of thing. I had already packed and they didn’t need to pack anything.
