Mr. Novotny was very helpful in this process. He was quick, thorough, and knowledgable about a variety of different items. He was aware of current market values and very careful to explain the prices he was giving. He was pleasant to work with and our family felt relieved to have someone come in give us a realistic estimation of the value of the home's contents. We would definitely hire him again.

Excellent. We hadn't had the house checked for termites for about three years. They gave us an appointment quickly. The very nice and knowledgeable man came and said there were no signs of termites or any dangerous spiders. He recommended no action and charged us no money. I will definitely call them again when needed.

My mother's house is about 6,500 square feet. Mr. Novotny arrived ahead of schedule, went through her possessions with care and efficiency and appraised everything valued at $50 or more, per our request. (He can start appraisals at any dollar figure one chooses.). We had asked for an oral report only, which he recorded on his smartphone as we numbered each piece, along with any pertinent details. He also does written reports and legal docs for different fees. Mr. Novotny is exceptionally knowledgeable in all fields: English, European, Asian, American, antique, contemporary, etc., and for any type of item you may have. My mother and I were impressed with his breadth of knowledge on so many different fronts. He readily looked up any anything he wasn't sure about online to confirm or revise an appraisal. As an example, my mother had a Tiffany curved bowl serving spoon that Bill originally valued at around $150.. After deciding to look at the spoon again and take a quick trip to the Internet, he reappraised it between $750 and $800! He was amazing. What we thought would be a tedious chore turned out to be a captivating, very informative and helpful afternoon. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, fair, fascinating person to appraise your treasures, or just your 'stuff'. He knows everything about everything!

He was efficient and quite knowledgeable about most of the items in the house. Those things that he did not have direct knowledge of, he quickly found and referenced their value through his access to Internet databases. I would DEFINITELY use him in the future. His services were provided on an hourly basis and he made every effort to complete the appraisal as quickly, professionally and accurately as possible.

Mr. Novotny is a generalist appraiser of many types of property (not a specialist). His resume, extensive appraisal library and access to excellent up-to-date online research sources demonstrates an impressive level of knowledge, skills and abilities in producing quality appraisal work. He prepared an appraisal report intended only for my personal use and no others ultimately using only a sales comparison approach. The report documented every avenue of research and the selected approach to his analysis such that the process could be repeated. This created a solid evidentiary base for his personal, objective, impartial and unbiased professional analyses, opinions and conclusions. My experience with his personal property appraisal services was certainly beyond expectations.

He billed me per hour. He was forthcoming, educational and informative of what his various jobs could be. His suggestions were intelligent from years of experience and he had very good manners.
