+ -1 moreI'm very pleased with the work done. He certainly is an honest contractor to contact if you need electrical work. I'm going to utilize his services for some other contracting work that needs to be done. He's pleasant, communication by phone was great, he explained things to me and didn't mind me watching him work.
Description of Work: Jeff Hines' proposal was very professional. I had obtained several estimates - a couple were cheaper but not complete or impressive. A couple were much higher - I suspect because they really didn't want to go under the house. I think Jeff Hines' price for the work done was quite reasonable. Jeff upgraded several old 2-prong un-grounded outlets to 3-prong grounded outlets in kitchen(including GFI), laundry and dining room. Plus 1 waterproof outdoor outlet. He was on time, honest, pleasant, and cleaned up everything nicely. His helper, Jasper, was the same. Jeff had to crawl under the house to bring in ground wires and did so with a great attitude. I was quite impressed with Jeff Hines' demeanor, attitude and work ethic - I'd certainly recommend him to anyone looking for electrical work. He even tightened a ceiling fan for me! As a recent widow whose husband had done everything around here, I was very apprehensive about finding a good honest contractor who would do quality work. I'm a happy camper!!!!

+ 2 moreHe is doing a very good job. His response is quick which I appreciate. He is professional and I am very pleased with his work. He cleans very well at the end of each day and I would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: He is putting in new kitchen and laundry room fixtures as well as repairing old lawn lighting. He is also putting in a huge chandelier and fan as well.

+ 1 moreJeff Hines was recommended to me by a friend. I called him and he answered the phone. We discussed what we needed and he gave me an hourly rate and time estimate. I agreed and we made an appointment. He showed up on time and was extremely sharp and professional. He also had a great sense of humor. He was joking with us while he was working. We like that. I am sure if you don't he wouldn't. He was the best.
Description of Work: He went straight to work and opened up the two fan/lite boxes, assembled them, took out our existing fixtures and light switches, installed the fan/lites (2), checked them for stability and balance (no wobbling). He asked us a lot of questions about our preferences (eg: placement of the remote control switch holders). He cleaned up his mess (only some small shavings from the ceiling I guess). He was in and out of here in only two hours.
