Outstanding. Our back door seals nicely. Our old door had a 1/4" gap under it and insects were getting in. Pat sent us the link to the doors and we picked what we wanted. We bought the new locks. Pat installed the door in a couple of hours. On the pocket door, Pat tried everything he could to avoid cutting into the wall. However, the track was shot. He installed a new track and the door slides better than it ever did. Pat even recommended a plasterer. Pat is a very knowledgeable guy.

Pat responds to requests quickly and does quality work. We did the installation over last summer and we wanted to wait to see how the doors/construction held up before writing a report. We are extremely pleased with his work have noticed how well-sealed the doors are this winter. Would definitely recommend him.

Pat did an excellent job, and charged less than his estimate. He could not find a suitable replacement for the original rollers, so he gave us the option of tearing out the wall and replacing the track, or trying to rebuild the original rollers, with the caution that the original rollers might not last. We had him rebuild the rollers, which saved us more than half the cost, and he successfully reinstalled the door without damaging the wall. Since he serviced the rollers and cleaned the track, the door now works better than when we first moved in.

Pat did an excellent job. He arrived on a Saturday afternoon to give me an estimate. It was during the estimate that he informed me that there were problems with the wall that was causing problems with the door. Door Dr. was able to order the door from his supplier right away and promised to be back in about 3 weeks when the door arrived. One week later, the door arrived. Unfortunately, I was having other work done in my house and it was impossible for Pat to install the door. Nevertheless, Pat agreed to arrive at the crack of dawn (6:30am) to install the door prior to the arrival of the other workers. I was walking my dog at 6:15am and Pat was already waiting outside for the designated meeting time prior to ringing the doorbell. He even installed the hardware that I had already bought and he humored my dog...no easy task since I have a 95 lb. pit bull. Pat and I have already made plans for two more jobs (closet doors and front doors). It was a pleasure to work with the Door Dr.

If every contractor is like Patrick, remodeling will be a breeze. When I called Patrick, he said he is occupied with current jobs but will call me back in two weeks, and he certainly did. He gave me a good estimate, did not try to sell me unnecessary services. He is on time, on schedule, and very reliable. He works fast and the quality is excellent. Two of the doors inside the house don't close well. He said all that is needed are minor adjustments, and did not even charge me for it. He is a gentleman.

I found Pat Stone, the Door Dr., through Angie's list. I chose him because of his very positive reviews and the location. I try to support local businesses. I originally called him to replace/repair a door lock but he was unable to do the job because he was involved in another project. I called him again about new doors. He returned the call and came to the house to give me recommendations, measure the job, and give me an estimate. He called me back when the doors arrived and we set an appointment. He arrived at the appointed time. I thought the job would take the whole day but he finished in four hours. He cleaned up afterward and took care of the old doors. I provided the locks for installation. He answered all my questions including the best way to prepare and paint the doors. He is knowledgeable, hardworking and professional. I am very happy with the door(including the security door) installations that close neat and tight.

We communicated several times about the door, the size of the opening and casing, by phone and email, before he came out. That he was available by e-mail was a surprising pleasure since our experience is that many craft professionals "don't do e-mail." Pat's a busy guy, but once the scheduled date for the work was set, he arrived on time (maybe even early), went straight to work and got the job done sooner than anticipated. Overall we were very pleased and will be contacting him for future projects.

He fixed my cabinets, he put my pocket door back on the wall. He recently replaced a screen on a hundred year old door. He redid a threshold that was warped. He is fantastic. He called me right away and scheduled the work. He tells me when he is coming out. He cleans up after himself. I trust him to come when I'm not here and I don't trust people around my kids. He is a very nice man. He is one of the only people I ever refer out. His price is reasonable.

We called Patrick, he returned the call right away, showed up on time (at the exact time) he said he would be there. He ordered new doors and installed them within three days of the initial call. Patrick was professional, courteous and we highly recommend him. He also checked our sliding glass doors, realized they had been installed upside down, reinstalled them correctly and didn't charge us.

Everything went perfectly from start to finish. On his first visit to see the work needed, Pat provided us with good recommendations/options and a sound estimate (of course dependent on the doors we chose). While we were making that decision, I had several questions and Pat always returned emails or calls promptly each time. The day of install went just as smooth. He was prompt as always and started work immediately getting the jobs done quicker than I expected. He made sure everything was clean and neat when he was done and made sure we were pleased before he left. Pat is a pleasure to work with, always prompt, polite and friendly. We will definitely be calling on him for some of our future projects

Pat handled all the ordering and delivery of the windows and doors. The installation of the doors were flawless! The old front door had been poorly cut and installed. Pat installed the new door so that it opened and closed so smoothly it appeared to be on bearings! Plus the fit was perfect. Same for the inner doors! The windows were installed perfectly also. My home is a hillside home, and access to the bedroom window was dicey. Pat enlisted the help of another window specialist and installed that window quickly and smoothly. The sound reduction of the new windows is amazing!

Exceeded my expectations. Pat is a real professional and a great guy. The cost was exactly what he estimated. He works quickly and efficiently, and you can tell that he is a genuine specialist. I wouldn't hire anyone else to hang or install a door in our house.

We got Pat's name off of Angie's list and called him. He came out and helped us pick out doors and assessed the work he would have to do. He ordered the doors and three weeks later called to set an appointment for installation. Pat showed up on time, and got right to work. He installed the doors, weather stripping and sanded down one threshold and put stripping on the other. The doors look fantastic. Pat was doesn't waste time, is very informative and cleans up after the work is done. He doesn't paint, but was very helpful in recommending what needed to be done to properly seal the doors. He has worked with a painter in the past and gave us the mane if we didn't have a painter.

He showed up on time when he said he would. He was friendly and professional and cleaned up after himself when he was finished. His final cost stayed in line with the estimate he had given us. We would use him again for future work if needed.

The job went very well. Pat came for an initial consultation to inspect and measure the old door and was very informative about what was wrong with it and why it needed to be replaced (wrong door size cut down too far and newer water damage). He ordered a new properly-sized door and came back 3 weeks later to install it. Installation was quick (1/2 day) and the new door works great. He also installed new weather stripping on the door and did the same for the front door. Cleaned up the job area completely when he was done. Pat doesn't do finishing or painting, however, so we've been doing this ourselves, trying to figure out what kind of varnish to use and applying it properly to the door. We bent a hinge pin removing the door but Pat called us back to explain how to fix the hinge if we couldn't find a replacement one.

Two men who had come to our house a few months before from a sliding glass door repair place told us they weren't sure what to do about the big door. They left, ostensibly to figure out a solution, and we never heard from them again. Pat the Door Dr. heroically took on the job all by himself, got the correct wheels and replaced them, and all of our doors slide beautifully now.

I discussed the installation with Patrick on the phone, and he quoted me a price. When the door arrived, we scheduled the job. He arrived on time, hung the door and installed the lock set.

Pat was very easy to deal with, and all work was done according to plan. The doors are beautiful and were beautifully installed.

Patrick was immediately responsive to my call and came out within a few days (per my schedule). He is very knowledgeable and explained exactly what needed to be done. We were not sure if the entire frame of the door should be replaced, but he felt that with a new door and good weatherstripping, the frame could remain (this saved us a significant amount of money). We had several phone conversations and emails (I liked it that he would communicate with me by email if desired) and he arrived as scheduled. He performed the work exactly as required and for the exact price quoted. He was efficient and really knew what he was doing. The job took a little less time than estimated and he cleaned up all areas after the work was complete. He encouraged me to try the doors to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. Highly recommended and he also works on/replaces windows! Oh yes, he was also very considerate of my pets.

It went very well. I emailed Pat after reading his profile on Angie's list. He responded immediately and came over within days to do an estimate. We set the day for a week later, and he showed up, on time. He carried the heavy doors in himself, explained a few details to me, and set to work. A few hours later the doors were in, hung cleanly and plumb. There was only one knock against him; he left the work area without cleaning it up. But, the price was fair, the work was done well and he was pleasant to deal with.
