Door Dr

We were really happy with him. He did work for 150 dollars when someone ese quoted 1500 dollars for it. He did everything, it worked out just fine. He fixed 5 or 6 different doors for us. We are incredibly happy with the work he did. He was busy so we had to really work to get an appointment with him but he drove out and took care of what needed to be taken care of eventually.

Excellent service and it was nice to give business to someone local.

Pat responded the same day I called. He and I communicated via phone and email, over the weekend (while on his time off!) and he gave me a range of estimates based on photos I emailed to him of the damage door. He was punctual, very professional, explained the work he did and charged me the low end of his estimate. I will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him.

This has been a problem for us for years, and we have had several other companies and a handy man try to fix the problem to no avail. I recently joined Angie's List and how fortunate I am! I called Door Doctor after seeing the good reviews, and Pat Stone, the owner, called me right back. He was able to come out right away and give me an estimate, and I had him begin the work right away. He had to do some research to locate the necessary parts to complete the job, and he kept me apprised of these efforts every step of the way. The job was finished on his second appointment, and we are extremely pleased! Pat is a personable, knowledgeable and professional man, and his fees are reasonable. I can recommend him to anyone needing his services

I found Door Dr from Angie's List. Patrick is a very busy guy, but he always returns my call within one day, usually around 5 or 6pm. We finally were able to schedule a date and time that worked for both of us. He were punctual. The closet doors now move smoothly after he changed the rollers. The doors are very very heavy, but he was able to handle them professionally. He also put the frame back to where it should be. Now my closet doors work like new. I will definitely hire him again in the future for further work.

Patrick came out promptly for our scheduled appointment bringing the two exterior doors we had ordered from him, he hung the doors and installed the locksets as well as installing a new lockset on the exisiting front door. His work is efficient and professional and his prices are fair. We've called Patrick before and he's a terrific resource--just very good at what he does. We would certainly use him again and recommend him to others.

Sorry for delay in posting this. Found Patrick here on Angie's List. It was a bit difficult to make an appointment as he is a pretty busy guy, but we managed and he arrived as scheduled. Installed new door and lockset, no problem. Closet sliding door wasn't working and he fixed that right up; newer patio sliding door was also off the track and he fixed that too. Suddenly these doors that had been problems for months worked properly! Patrick really is a Door Doctor and I would use him again and recommend him.

After trying for 5 years to find someone to fix the broken sash cords in several windows in my home, I found the "Door Dr" on Angie's list. He showed up when he said he would, fixed all of the broken windows and did it for a very reasonable price. I plan on using Pat to replace my front door and build a closet in my daughter's bedroom. If you need someone to do the job right, in a timely manner and for a reasonable price, give him a call. He has a customer for life with me.

This was the first time that I had used him. It turned out very well. He was very professional. He was in and out. He measured the doors and replaced the doors. He had to do some special fittings for one of the doors because of the California requirement for the door where I had the water heater. There were some special requirements where in the vents had to go on there and these vents had to be made out of special wood. He then fitted some doors in my house and he was always right there. I think he came all the way out from the west hills. The only downfall was that the special door that they had delivered had to come from Mideast or Midwest. It was for my home but I would be renting it out. I had to get all the things done before the tenant moved in. Their price was excellent.

I used Angie's List to find Patrick and called him. He called the same day, was very courteous and said he was backed up with work, but that he would put me on the list and would call as he got closer to being able to do the job. He said don't worry, he wouldn't forget me. True to his word, he called last week and we set up a time he could come out. He checked all the doors in the house, adjusted a couple of them and found the problem with the bi-fold closet door in the bedroom. It kept coming off track. He certainly seems to know his business. Very personable and reliable. I would call him again if I needed doors fixed.

He was reasonable. He was good. He was professional and knew what he was doing. We have had these doors that regularly shifts and we just wanted him to re-hang some doors, shape some door and realign some doors. He knew what he was doing. I would use him in the future.

They took a long time to get back to us, but it was very professionally installed. It looks great. The workers were fine. They were punctual and were able to answer our questions. They were great. I don't have any basis to compare their prices with.

This is the second time we've used the Door Doctor, and it was another excellent experience.

Patrick gave us an estimate in a timely manner. He had to order a new door which arrived in about 10 days. He was very efficient with the removal of the old door and with the installation of the frame, threshhold, moding and door. He left the area in a very clean state. The door looks great and works perfectly - everything is completely square. Patrick is also very personable and pleasant to work with.We definitely would hire him again.

Outstanding. Pat was punctual and communicated well. He is a master craftsman and a perfectionist (exactly the way a carpenter should be). Nobody knows more about doors and how to get them to work than him. He can handle any door or window installation or repair issue, and it will look perfect after he is done.

I thought I needed a new back door and called Patrick Stone to come do that. In the end, he told me that the door was of high quality (they don't make them like that anymore) and all I needed was a new screen. I also had him replace the screens on my french doors. He took the doors to a person he knows that actually replaced the screens and then replaced the doors. I also had a door threshhold that had rotted out and he built a new one. He was professional, personable and did great work. I would hire him again and, in fact, have recommended him to two neighbors both of him have had him do work at their homes.

When the Door Dr. came out the first time we met he was on-time, polite, and ready to help. I had 16 windows needing a thorough checking and 20 doors in the house, but only the door to the garage being hard to open. Door Dr. went to each and every window and checked them, oiling each window, and making sure they were opening and closing smoothly. Very detailed he is. There was a couple problematic windows that had gotten stuck due to the changes from the structure when earthquakes shook the house year ago, but the Door Dr. spent the time on it over and over again until he got it to budge and working. Thank you, Door Dr. When he got to my problem door, he made an adjustment to it, and got it to close and open smoothly. I called Door Dr. to come out 2 months later, because the same door was popping open on its own due to pressure changes through the house. Door Dr. remembered that he had worked on this door before himself and made the correct adjustments and did not charge me for the additional job. Thank you, Door Dr.! I will definitely call him again for future needs.

We needed a door installed in our home to close off the office. Door Dr. was very responsive and helped us with picking out the right door. He placed the order for the door and picked it up to bring it over and install it. He was quick, clean and very professional. The door looks great in our home - we couldn't be happier.

From first contact through the on-site visit, completion and follow-up, this was a first class experience. We had no pressure at all to replace the door or buy needless parts and stuff. The Door Dr simply transformed the stuck old door into "better than new." Even the General Contractor who renovated the home before we bought and moved in could not get this door to work. What we feared would become a "demolish and replace" turned into a quick "just make it work right." We are impressed and grateful.

He seemed honest, personable, and knowledgeable about his speciality. We didn't use his services this time.

The front door was made to order and took several weeks, but this was as expected. Pat was great to deal with and did a great job installing the items. The front door looks terrific -- we are very happy with it. The closet doors, which were on the cheap side, look unremarkable, but Pat did a great job coordinating and ordering them.

The process was very successful. The locks are not visible from the front of the desk. I appreciated his efforts to minimize the impact on the desk, and his design of materials and installation. Pat's installation took longer than expected due to details in the desk, but he did not attempt to charge more than the original estimate.

Pat showed up on time, provided an estimate, and we made an appointment at later date to do the work. He did the work quickly and professionally, came in slightly under budget, and our door now works like a dream. Very professional, high quality work. Highly recommended.

He was responsive and came out and gave me an estimate. He isn't able to do the work right away but said he would call back when he could do it, I am hoping to hear back from him this week.
