They are wonderful; they are professional and knowledgeable about all trees. They trimmed my huge elm tree and did a beautiful job on the canopy. They also took the dead stuff out of my oak tree and you can't even see that it has been touched. They made my crepe myrtles look really beautiful by opening them up and giving them shape. They are just excellent. They spent two whole days here because it was a big job. I use them every year and I plan on continuing to use them.

I have used this company for many years to care for my many trees and have always been satisfied. After having had one bad experience with a different company, I looked for a company that provides certified arborists and this is one of the few in the area. I have used them ever since and have my trees trimmed by them every 2-3 years. It takes them a day to complete the work on my trees, working the entire time. They once removed a very large ash tree for me with no problem. Dan Thacker (the operations manager) always shows up when he says he will to survey the project and give his quote for the work. They are very busy so that the work sometimes takes months to schedule. Especially in the fall you should call months in advance. But it is better to wait for them than it is to have a less qualified company butcher your trees. They trim and shape trees conservatively. I.E., they do not "top" trees, a process that is very ugly and is also unhealthy for the trees.

The person who came by was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, etc. We decided not to go with them for now simply because the estimate was too high. We may decide to use this company in the future.

These guys are great. We have used Finch around 8 times since 2006 for various tree needs from triming to removing trees to removing stumps. Dan Thacker is the operations manager and goes over everything in detail prior to the job and offers excellent advice regarding the work that needs to be done and continued care of your trees. They do great work, actually climbing up into the trees and using hand tools rather than starting their chains saws immediately and hacking away. Their workers are professional, courteous and conscientious, trying not to damage things. Tree trimming is messy and their guys do a good job of cleaning up afterwards. My wife is extremely particular about her yard and what services she will use. Finch tree is one the top of her list when it comes to tree care. Finch's prices are reasonable when you consider the number of guys in their crew doing the work and the amount of time and effort they spend.

This is a wonderful company. They're VERY conservative, so don't call them if you want a hatchet job on your trees. They're going to do the minimum, because as they explain it, the more you trim the faster it all grows back.

Received phone call when estimator was to be a few minutes late because of traffic. Crew arrived on time the days work was scheduled. Took care to protect not only my plants, but my neighbor's also from falling branches, etc. The yard was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. Very professional. Estimator is very knowledgeable about trees and proper care. Would recommend them.

It turned out really well, and had they not come out we would have cut it down. I have used them once before. They seem to be really busy, so I have to wait and that is the biggest thing. However, they did a great job when they came over. I would like to get them back, but I know it would be a month before they will be able to schedule me in. They were here when they said they would be.

I was interested in using them to trim some trees around my yard based on the positive reviews from Angies List, but apparently they are too busy to call people back. Left 3 messages for them over a 3 day period, and never heard back. I suppose that means that they are busy and perhaps very good at their jobs, but I feel it is extremely unprofessional not respond to potential customers. While waiting for Finch, I had two other very good arborists come by the house and now I have my quotes. I won't be caling Finch in the future.

Had a very large ash tree in our backyard that was uplifting the driveway and garage. Called Finch & they were very responsive and professional. The work was scheduled and completed within a week, which surprised me because a reputable tree company is sometimes very hard to get in less than 3 weeks. The workers were great, very courteous and professional as well. As I said the tree was large, so it took a few days to get the whole thing completed, from the cut down and the wood disposal.

They're really professional. They're on time and know what they're doing. They saved a couple trees that were butchered by other services.

The work crew arrived promptly on the appointed day, and started work quickly. The crew was well-skilled and courteous, completing the job in less than a full day. I was very satisfied with the result. The trees were well trimmed, the cleanup was thorough, and care was taken not to damage the smaller plants in and around the trees. This last issue had been a consistent problem with other tree services that I have used.

I was given an estimate on May 19, and their earliest appointment was July 28. This process took three visits (cut down tree/remove branches, grind stump, removal of large trunk and larger pieces of tree). Normally I would believe this could be done in one day. The estimate was to include a yard of dirt to replace vacant root area. Although I was only charged for the above said work, I thought I would have dirt instead of ground up roots. I was also given an estimate for a 24 inch replacement tree. They never contacted me again to replace the tree or soil. In the end I had a landscaper come and remove the ground up roots, replace it with soil and had the area covered with sod grass.

WHEN I CALLED THEM, THEY CAME VERY QUICKLY. WE HAD SOME TREES FALLING, AND THEY HAD TO BE CUT DOWN. THEY WERE VERY NEAT WITH THEIR WORK. THEY DIDN'T LEAVE ANY WASTE AROUND FOR US TO HAVE TO CLEAN up. SOON I WILL HIRE THEM TO BE MY GARDENERS.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY REASONABLE, WHICH IS PROBABLY WHY EVERYONE IN LAGUNA USES THEM. ALMOST ALL THE NEIGHBORS USE THEM. THEY ARE PROMPT. THEY COME ON THE DAY THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO AND THEY CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES. SOMETIMES TREE PEOPLE DON'T DO THAT.
