Great company and great service. The company dropped off the crates and dolly at the scheduled time window and explained how their company worked. The guy who delivered the crates is very nice and professional. 2 weeks later they called and let me know what time they'd be picking up the crates and again came within the window. The crates were very convenient. i would use them again though I hope I don't have to move any time soon!

Overall, it was a great experience. The boxes were super sturdy and it was great to have items protected inside hard plastic rather than flimsy cardboard. I think we had one glass break in all - and I am sure we would have had many more breaks if we had used only cardboard. Also, very nice delivery and pick-up guy - on time and professional. A couple ways they could be improved: 1) their small boxes are not very small. I used them as book boxes, but they were very heavy when filled with books. 2) the movers hated the handles on these boxes and didn't use them. There probably should be some kind of foam padding on the handles. 3) they should get a receptionist. I think it is the very nice owner who takes all the reservation calls. I was unsure if my order for the next day went through and was about to cancel when I got a call from him. 4) the "one-bedroom" package is really for a SMALL one-bedroom. We needed more boxes and had to go buy cardboard boxes two nights before our move. 5) we ran out of zip ties! These plastic ties are critical for the zippgos to work. We used saved twisty ties to secure several boxes. But what would be the harm in including some extra ties? I bet they are very cheap... and 6) lastly, this is both a pro and a con - you only have two weeks to use the boxes. Most of us would schedule to get them a week before, pack for a week, move, and unpack for a week. But unpacking a whole house in a week is a chore. We were cursing Zippgo about this at first, but suddenly all our boxes were gone in our new house! So although it was painful to unload so many boxes so fast, we were glad to be through that painful part of moving.

Zippgo is the green moving box company that acts as a substitute for cardboard boxes. They drop off and pick up green reusable moving boxes to your home before and after your move. I used Zippgo to help me move to a much larger home a mile away. Although we ended up using a few cardboard boxes during the move, I can honestly say that using the 100 Zippgo moving boxes made packing and unpacking so much easier and faster. There was no taping and cutting, no folding, and no worries about overloading a flimsy cardboard box. The Zippgo boxes were so good in fact that we had no breakage during our move - our fine china survived without a single casualty! Plus, this was environmentally friendly since 100 cardboard boxes are not going to a landfill. The Zippgo website was easy to use, the delivery driver arrived timely during his window, and the quality of the boxes was as advertised. I definitely recommend Zippgo and will be using them for any future moves and will recommend them to all my friends and family.
